Re: Can anyone tell me if they think this routine is viable?

I also have daily 30-45min neural feedback training sessions and listen to various brainwave soundtracks that Pontus, and others, have shared.

Re: Can anyone tell me if they think this routine is viable?

I'm always open to the motivation to follow through with things that
doing them with a partner brings so I would more than definitely be up
for doing that. How do you suggest that?

Are you a student of phenomenal memory? If you are interested we could complete the program together. My current regimin includes physical exercies, transedental meditation, reading, speeded NB training, nootropic and supplement use, and a healthy diet. I've found myself in a depressed state for the past 6 months which has taken a toll on my mental state, so im trying to mentain a happy state.

Can anyone tell me if they think this routine is viable?

So i'm looking for some feedback and who better than the folk on here
who more than anyone else have been exposed to these types of things
to tell me if there's something about this routine I should change,
add or maybe omit altogether (in order to achieve the best results
with the least amount of time).

For your guys' clarity, I would like to elucidate the fact that my
primary goal here is to achieve a level of mental clarity/sharpness
and speed that would allow for moderate ease when partaking in all
levels of intellectual/academic endeavors (which considering my
interests, deal mostly along the lines of advanced maths and physics,
creative writing, directing, speech, and overall ability to learn)
along with a steady presence of creativity.

Thanks in advance to anyone on here who contributes!

I'm gonna make this simple. The routine is as follows (i'm gonna omit
the duration of these exercises for simplicity's sake):

Running
Meditation (Vipassana)
DNB
Image Streaming
Phenomenal memory training
Brain Entrainment (in form of iMusic neuro acoustics)
Regular studying/reading
Future nootropic use

Re: IQ Estimation

I'm certainly not arguing that certain individuals with high
linguistic facility aren't stupid, just that they possess a requisite
intelligence associated with their skill. For instance, one can high
verbal ability but very poor fluid ability (and to some extent even
this will show itself in such a person's writing - don't ask me how, I
can just tell).

One has to invest g to get s (skill) dividends; the more g one has to
invest, the more one can invest in many areas at once. That's the
point of Spearman's Law of Diminishing Returns. Anyway, you most
certainly can improve your skills at any time - just invest what you
have.

[ Marriage & Divorce ] Open Question : How do you make this relationship work?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:38 PM PDT

How do you make a marriage work with someone who you agree on nothing with except where to take your next vacation? I fight with my husband about everything. He nit-picks over everything I do...from what I choose to wear when we go out (e.g. "You can't wear heels with that! What were you thinking buying those shorts?"...to how I wear my makeup, to my bad habit of biting my nails. We argue over the style of house we want (I like old charms but re-done...he likes modern with vaulted ceilings). We argue about what color leash to buy for the dog...and it's my dog! Most of the time I catch myself flipping him off behind his back...but about 30% of the time I actually enjoy his company... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH And you can say...talk to him! Tell him how you feel! I HAVE!!!!! I tell him every day!!! And after he nit-picks and I get mad... he says if I wouldn't do weird things we wouldn't have these problems! WTFFFFF IF YOU DON"T F-ING LIKE ME OR HOW I AM WHY DON"T YOU LEAVE!!!!

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

im looking at getting either a grand am GT ar a grand prix GTP. i was first thinking about the grand am gt but then i found out about the grand prix gtp. the gtp is surperior, i know (my dad has a regal with the same engine). the problem is that i cant really find ant GTPs for sale in my area, and they are all at around 5 grand while the grand am gt's are at around 3500 to 4 grand. so, are grand ams really that much more common than the GTP is (enough so that you really cant wait for a good deal on the GTP, you just have to take it when a decent one is for sale within ten states of you). also how much would either a Grand Am GT or a Grand Prix go for, after you barter with the seller? i am looking for a first car and a 5 grand gtp is kind of not gonna happen so i want to know homuch to expect to give the zoner who i buy it from. thanks!

[ Law & Ethics ] Open Question : What legal charges can I take against this thief?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

There is a guy at my high school is a Teacher Assistant. In my P.E. period, the TA is the person who watches over everyone's stored stuff (all 150 of us students are required to place our belongings in this storage room for "safe-keeping" before we head out). We suspect that he has been stealing precious things from students backpacks when they're not there (including two of my friends). I myself, have lost my $300 80G Ipod Classic (including my hard case protector and the iphone earphones I had with it) that someone special gave to me as a birthday gift. He is a senior, and the lower classmen lack the guts to stand up to him. I have not yet spoken to the person, but I will soon. I have a feeling he will just deny any I tell him. If mediation fails, what can I charge this person with, given that I know for sure he has it and substantial evidence that proves the device is mine. Also would this suit charges for invasion of privacy?

[ Marriage & Divorce ] Open Question : I think I have gotten too comfortable with staying single?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

Ever since my divorce (due to infidelity) I've dated a little but no one has really caught my attention. Plus, I've seen and witnessed too many bad relationships all around me. I'm used to seeing men who cheat on women and abuse them, and the women are good women. It just seems like theres more bad men than decent available ones and I won't settle. So now, its like if a guy even approaches me, I sort of play him to the left. I don't mean too, its just that I'm not ready to go through anymore BS with a man anytime soon. I've never seen a healthy, happy marriage. OR maybe it is just me? IS there anyone else who feels the same way? I don't think this is normal.

[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Why doesn't my mom like him?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

Okay, so I'm in eighth grade, and today my mom was looking through my yearbook, and she out of the blue asked me, "Who do you like?" I love my mother, so I wasn't gonna lie. This is how it went, "His name's Nate." "Do I know him?" "Nah, I don't think so. I'll show you his picture." So I flipped to his picture, my mom looked at the picture and said, "That Tyler boy was cute." Nate's Indian and I don't think my mom was expecting that, because of the American name. She didn't sound pleased that my crush was Indian, and I don't know why, since he's very sweet, nice, and intelligent, which I told her. Why did she reject Nate from his picture, since he doesn't look bad-boyish at all? I'm confused, and if you call my mom racist, I'll report you in a second. She is the most supportive and caring person I know. Thanks in advance!!

[ Women's Health ] Open Question : I got the Depo Provera Birth Control shot over a month ago...?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

I was on the pill for a month, but my doctor took me off of it because it was giving me nasty side effects. She switched me to the shot. I ended my period on April 10, and received the shot April 12. It's May 22, and I still haven't gotten my period. My doctor said I would probably stop bleeding (or my periods would lighten) after I got the 2nd shot. But it's been just over a month, and I still haven't gotten my period. I know I'm not pregnant, because my boyfriend and I are very careful and always use condoms. One has never broken or leaked either. So, I'm not worried about that. I'm just curious as to if this is normal to not have my period at all. Or is it just late? Thanks for any one who has experience with this or knows a lot about the shot and what it does. :)

[ Software ] Open Question : Is there an application or program that allows u to write stuff on your desktop wallpaper?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

Like, for example a word processor that has an option to make its background fully transparent so when u write stuff it would appear you are writing on ur wallpaper. There's one that is a little on the lines of what I'm thinking - it's called WriteMonkey but it can only make its background 50% transparent, and I want full transparency and also a feature that would make it permanently stick to the wallpaper background no matter what windows you minimize and maximize.

[ Military ] Open Question : Mom criticizes army boyfriend?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

I am 18 years old and I've been dating my bf for a year and a half. We are really serious and even plan to get married someday. He is the BEST bf I could have ever asked for, he is perfect in my eyes. There is just one problem...my mother. Ever since day one of our relationship she has done nothing but criticize since he is in the military, saying how we will never work out, blah blah. Well tonight was the final straw for me when she called me a "little girl" and told me she couldn't wait till my bf goes to basic in three weeks. I am already trying to cope with his upcoming absence and it's hard and my mom doesn't understand. I've talked to her many times already and she doesn't care. She tells me all the time how he will cheat on me and all this stuff. It's makes him extremely angry cuz he isn't that type of guy, he would NEVER do that to me. Before he leaves he is going to talk to her about how his feelings for me are not going to change and he is not going to cheat on me and how he loves me but I'm afraid she is going to laugh in his face. How do I deal with the stress of him leaving and my mom not listening to my feelings? It's starting to take a toll. What do I do?

[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Help me out please :( ?

Posted: 22 May 2011 07:37 PM PDT

Alright so I've been talking to this guy for a while we have been dating for a short time 10 days or so . But from the first time I talked to him I knew he was the one , he always takes me on super cute dates ! And is super affectionate towards me. I'm 17 and he is 18 . We are both in school ( different schools ) and he managers a expensive clothing store and I work in beauty . We are both out going and love life ! I see our relationship getting way far ! For our one month he wants to get me a promise ring .. The issue is I'm Lebanese and he's part afghani and part Iran/Greek .. So he's pretty mixed but mainly afghani . I casually told my dad oh I want to marry an afghan one day . And he was like why do you know what kind of names they have ... Terrorists .. Etc etc . It upset me , us Lebanese girls get married ultra young so I'm looking for the one I think I found him but ..... Any personal stories ? Advice ? Thanks in advance guys xoxo
