[ Software ] Open Question : To all Nook Color owners!!! Please answer:)?

I just bought a NookColor earlier in the week, and unfortunately, I don't live in Wi-fi zone. (Yet ) Anyway, I went to my local coffee shop and used the wi-fi there, but then I went home and used my dial-up to purchase some NookBooks. However, they did not download onto my Nook, even though it was plugged in through the USB port. So, my question is: Do you have to have a wi-fi connection to download books, or is it possible to do it manually? This is only for NookBooks, seeing as a currently owned pdf files of E-Books, and they downloaded just fine through my USB. Please answer:) Thank You!

I've wanted to get a nutrition label as a tattoo for quite some time now. My boyfriend and I have been throwing around ideas on where to get it put, what to put on it and so forth. Yesterday we had the idea to change up the nutrition label so it says some more witty things. Unfortunately we've run out of ideas. Does anyone know of some witty remarks that I could put on it? Ok so I have posted and tried all the advice I was given before but none of the advice has worked at all.... I have a 7month old huskie cross lab who will not pee outside at all he waits till he gets in the door and I could spend all day outside and he still won't pee I've tried the outside tone stuff with him the ignorin while cleaning and crateing him... The family who had him before worked all day they had him from 8 weeks and now 7 months on decided cause they don't have time for him rehome him and they were never home for him as they worked all day... What can I do I'm at my wits end he holds his pees in and I just don't know how to break his habbit???? ....

Some guy says cybering shouldn't be a bannable offense. Then I say it should be but all he has to say is "does it affect you?". It doesn't but that doesn't mean it shouldn't be bannable right?

[ Camcorders ] Open Question : Help with uploading video files to my PC from my Sony HandyCam camcorder?

I have the Sony HandyCam camcorder (that uses the mini-discs) that has been convenient with uploading videos to my computer until today. I was scanning through my video files on my computer and came across a folder that only had half of the videos uploaded. Thinking it was a past problem with uploading the files from the disc, I retrieved my camcorder and the disc with missing files and began my normal routine of adding videos to my computer (put the disc in the camcorder, plug in the USB to my camcorder and Hard Drive, wait for the message to pop up, and if it didn't, load the system I downloaded that came with my Sony camcorder). But, instead of a message coming up stating whether or not I wanted to upload any files, a blank disc message came up. A little worried as this was an important disc, I checked my camcorder and there were no recorded files on it. I then took out the USB cord and put the disc into my PC slot. When I did this, evidence of recorded files DID come up into Windows Media Player and everything was there. But... I want to have these files onto my computer to edit? So, I have come down to two solutions (or problems, for that matter): somehow get the files from Windows Media Player onto my computer (which I have no idea how to do) or fix it so my video files can be readable on my camcorder and upload the files with my normal procedure. If you know how to do any of the two, your help would be well appreciated as I am in a huge panicking-mode. Thanks. And I have tried finalizing my disc, but it says that the feature is unavailable, most likely due to the fact that no evidence of recordings are showing up on my camcorder. I am unsure whether this is an issue or not, but it had been suggested to others in the past with similar problems. And please, DO NOT suggest any downloaded sites or software programs. I have everything I need as I have uploaded many files previously. I just appear to be in a bind as my video files are missing from where I need them most. Once again, thanks. :)

I'm about to start my last year of high school (secondary school), and I'd like to move to an English-speaking country such as Ireland or Scotland, preferably after college but I'm flexible. I'm just curious as to what the pros and cons are of moving to/living in Scotland. Things such as the economy, prices of living, jobs (I'm planning on majoring in fine art at a local fine arts college, so I can teach art), weather, health care, and the community. Any help would be MUCH appreciated! :) Thank you very much :) I've never been much of a fan of America's government, or the area in general. am i going crazy? when i am tired i see like things.. not people or anything but it is like flashes of light or like just weird things like it is like things are moving and stuff like that and now i keep hearing a baby crying but my brothers can't hear anything and like its like i have a sixth sense like i can always tell when i have a letter, even without anyone telling me.. and i can tell if i have a missed call/incoming call etc i am not crazy by the way.. i am 17 help !

I have a computer from 2000 (yeah thats old i know) I just recently found a game called Assault Cube and i downloaded it. When i began to play it... multicolored lights came horizontally down from the screen, and it froze. I had to unplug it and reboot it to get my computer working again. Is there a way i can get Assault Cube to run on my computer??

Athiests look to humans as 'gods' and so their morals are warped, but this does not mean they do not need examples. We as christians need to stop bickering amongst our denominations and unite to lead them towards a better future. Christ will return, and when he does our house needs to be in order, this includes our atheists that have lost their way. Show them love and they will respect us more.

Lately i've been getting into bands such as Bombay Bicycle Club, The Naked and Famous, and Jonquil in additions to some old favorites such as Local Natives, Freelance Whales, Mumford and Sons, Noah and the Whale. I'm looking for some new music similar to these bands/genres... I've been finding that most of the music i've been into is actually fairly popular in the Uk so I figured I'd ask around on here. Basically as you can probably guess i had unprotected sex with my boyfriend, I don't need a lecture im usually very precautions with birth control, my boyfriends allergic to latex and rubber, we are still currently looking for latex and rubber free condoms. I was on the pill before but i had terrible mood swings which made my depression worse, so i stopped for a while, and in this time we had unprotected sex. So i got the morning after pill about 14 hours after, i was just wondering what are the chances of getting pregnant, i know that its highly unlikely since im in the 24 hour band, but does anyone else have stories about getting pregnant even in the 24 hour band? im looking for serious answers please

I met his guy and me and him hit it off very well. Our personalities match perfectly and he makes me feel really good when I'm with him. The other nite after dinner his phones kept ringing (he has 2 phones). I could hear it was a woman's voice each time. I got angry and asked, "Why the heck are women calling you at eleven o'clock at nite?!" He said, "I'm gonna keep it real with you. I'm a pimp." I said, "WHAT?!" I was shocked.
