A whole bunch of drama happened with my friend and I different guy, so I went back to liking this guy. My friend told him i liked him and now he's ignoring me. I've spoken about three words to him since and it's really hurting me. Why can't I just let go of this guy. I wish that for once someone would actually like me. What should I do?  |

Posted: 15 Jun 2011 09:12 PM PDT Cutting is bad because people don't know how to deal with depression, anger, sadness, etc., properly. It is bad because it is a means to simply bottle-up your emotions until they explode, or hurt yourself in some way. I cut, but not for the above reasons. I cut because I love the feeling you get. I love the feeling of a sharp blade slicing effortlessly through your skin, where a white under layer appears for just a few seconds before it is flushed red with blood. I simply love how it feels and looks, thus, I am not bottling up emotions, and do know how to deal with emotion. I also do not cut too deep so as to cause damage. I know it is always a danger to do this, but I use new blades often, wash before and after, and sterilize the blades. Is it really that bad in my case? I do it on my upper thigh where no one can see. PS: I have been to a psychologist before where I was told that I had no mental disorders whatsoever. In fact, they said I was above average intelligence (haha, which I have yet to see reflect in my school marks!). So please, none of those "you are a crazy person!" comments. The thing is,I haven't told my parents about it. They're not very supportive when it comes to me going for anything even remotely similar to a chef. I wanted to join a culinary school but they didn't let me,said I can take cookery classes,cook at home etc but no professional degree until I complete college(in a course i even hate to apply for). But I applied to the culinary school before they said that,because the chances of admission are very less and at that time,I really wanted to get selected because its my dream to become a chef,but now,when I don't see any way I could be allowed for it,I was jus thinking whether I should still try my luck. There's an entrance test this sunday. Moreover,I don't know if it is permissible in our community for girls to audition on tv. I would really be grateful if any of you can tell me if I should go forward and test my luck in the test as well as the audition? If so,how do i convince them to send me/take me to another state for the auditions? Please help!  |

There's a girl that I knew in my junior year of high school who I used to be pretty close with. We were involved in lots of things together in high school and we talked almost every night before school. As we both went to different colleges (she's a year older than me) we kind of lost touch, maybe speaking 5 or so times since her first year of college. I ran into her over Thanksgiving this year in the airport, and she was really happy to see me, and we caught up briefly before her flight. We said we would hang out over winter break, but it never happened because she was out of the country and then I was too. I just messaged her online tonight though and spoke for a bit with her and said we should catch up soon, and she agreed. So, what should I do with her? She's a great person and pretty attractive, so she's someone I would definitely consider dating. Since we used to be close friends though, I'm not sure how I should be treating things when we meet. It's not a first date by any means, since we know each other well. Is it a date at all though? If you were her, how would you be looking at this? Any thoughts, tips, or ideas would be great! | [ Fish ] Open Question : long "stringy" poop on fish? Posted: 15 Jun 2011 09:12 PM PDT my fish have long string poop I feed them a variety of foods, including flakes, freeze dried blood worms. It isn't a major concern as the fish seem quite happy and the water params are normal, it just makes the tank look a little less presentable. First i want to know what causes this poop, and second how to change it if possible. I have 2 Angle fish 6 Molly and 5 Bronze Cory only the cory seems to not be plagued by this "stringy" poop, but i figure that is because of the gravel/ornaments they are around.  |
