Hi, I'll just put a little about myself here: I'm almost 16 and I've kind of fallen into a rut and can't seem to find a way out. I'm fairly intelligent, I have a job, and a car, I'm blessed with so many things, including good looks (I think) and I've had relationships before. So, it's not like I'm some pathetic little drip who needs a social life. Recently, I've just completed my second year of high school failing two classes, Gym, for the second time, and Biology for one semester. To myself, I feel like I'm holding back, because I know I can do so much better, but it just seems like I've lost my drive and- more importantly- my focus. I've purged unhealthy friendships, and I feel a bit better, I guess I'm just ready for the next milestone. My real problem is, now that I have gotten rid of horrid relationships, what now? I mean, my town is kinda the one where you grow up with your friends together, you don't just make them. I have some fantastic friends who I've known since kindergarten in the neighboring city, but I just don't always have time (nor stamina) to keep up with their lives and drama. MY POINT: (it's finally here!) Got any low-cost suggestions about getting into social programs? Or any advice about finding a new start? -Jordie

I reinstalled chrome and all the tabs on the bookmark bar are still there but some folders in those tabs lost all the links I saved. Some didn't. How can I recover the bookmarks for those lost? System restore won't go back past today. Help!

So, I went to this camp and like everyboy was trying to talk talk to me. I ended up liking 2 boys that are complete opposites. One of the boys I ended up liking.said he tried talking to someone else because everybody liked me, then switched to me when I started flirting. I told this boy I liked him inside and outside of camp. He started playimg games after camp bad. He would talk to me on 3 way with his friend, hung up on me twice when I said im not a freak. yoday we was texting him asking why he dont call me but calls his friends. He switched it to why I dont call him. So, I called him hours later, no answer but texted me like 5 mins after. in my novel there is a ten year old boy who happens to be blind and has never seen before. the book is going to be in first person from his perspective. how do I portray what hes feeling with detail? On the radio today, they played their whole album to promote the band. I realized most of the songs on the album contained the same fast paced multi acoustic riff. I do various extracurricular activities at school virtually every day including: Key Club (Active member for almost 4 years), Anime Club (President for one whole year), Music Composers Club (Current President), MESA (Treasurer and a member for almost 1 year), Orchestra (Vice President and member for almost 4 years and recently sitting in first chair), Adventure Club (Treasurer and member for 1 year), Badminton (2 years), and Piano Club (1 year). I took AP US History and passed with B- and some other honors classes. My question is....how high should my SAT score be so I can be accepted to Universities such as... UC Berkeley, UC Davis, UC Santa Cruz, and University of the Pacific, San Jose State, etc. Also, can you give me a list of Universities that will very likely accept me depending on my SAT score or what I look like now? I took the SAT already but right now I'm waiting on the score coming in a couple days. Thank you! :D

for people that have auditioned/ know all about it. when you do your first audition, you song 15seconds in groups of 4 at one of the booths- right? well I hear plenty of stories about people who come in ridiculous costumes and sing twrribly make it through while the rest of the 95% good singers dont. I was wondering- if I audition, I could purposely sing really bad through the first one so I could make it through, then sing really good when you get the the other rounds.. think this is a good idea? or do they somehow know that you were labeled "bad singer" ?

MySpace asks you "Looking for: Dating, Relationships, Networking, Friends" Now what I was wondering what is the best way to find people actually "Looking for ___". I can use the friend button and then click browse people based on these categories, but the results are full of private profiles and people acting confused a stranger is trying to talk to them (reading past status updates on a profile). Now since this is a feature of MySpace to search for new people, there must be a crowd not automatically defaulting to the "it must be a creeper". How do you network on MySpace? Do people only just randomly message people and friend request a ton of strangers and hope a percentage of them accept? The best I have gotten through the random friend invites is abandoned profiles with no recent status updates (yet still signing on?) and some women that deliberately want to be sexually harassed (Upload 50 pictures a day while every guy comments on how hot she looks).

A couple months ago I had to watch my friends house while she was away on a trip and I used my sisters iPod dock that whole week to keep myself entertained. To be more clear, I am talking about songs that are mainly singing but feature rappers. Like E.T. has Kanye West, but whenever I hear E.T. on the radio they never play the Kanye part. Same goes for B.o.B. on Price Tag and Snoop Dogg on California Girls. This might also be true for Ludacris in Taio Cruz's song. What is the point of cutting out these parts?

ive never had my phone taken before but ive had friends who have. so can they keep it just for that class or to the end of the day. i think they should have to at the end of the hour, but my school they put it in the office and you cant even get it back you have to call a parent and you get iss (in school suspension) which i think is a little to far! they also say that the teachers have the right to look through our phones. is this illegal? I personally thing they should not be able to take them in the first place because 1. they don't pay the bill 2. they are not our parents 3. because its not distracting any other student and if they decide to text in class its their future they are messing up

I told my gf to clean up her cats throw up 3 days ago, and was still there today. i told her last night that if she cant clean up her cats mess ill get it euthanized; of course i didn't mean it, and she knew i never...So this morning i woke up to see the throw up still there Hard as flint by now. So i decided to go to my computer room and look for a receipt where she bought the cat and scanned it off, and played with it until it looked like a receipt for euthanization. When she got home from work,i hid the cat away and i told her that i got rid of the cat and gave her the receipt.. she was upset, i was a bit sorry for what i done and told her the difference when i seen her too upset and gave her cat back. i told her to clean it up or next time it wont be fake, of coarse i still dont have the heart to put the cat down. She did clean up the mess tho.. so im guessing it got the point out... a few ppl called me cold just curious of what u think...

First a little background info.: I am 27 turning 28 in July. I am a mom of one little girl almsot 3 and live with her father, my boyfriend of almost 6 years. We havent gotten married yet for rreasons up to him. She was unplanned but I love her very much, but it did complicate and thwart things for me. I moved in with my boyfriend when I was 22 years old, I got into a relationship with him bc I was badly burned by a guy using me for sex only who was the one to get me out of a brainwashed church organization. So I went from one thing toanother to another in a course of few months. I ahd been in that strict church for 3 yrs. Then, I was still going to my university where I was studying English literature and doing great on all my papers. I had opportunities from a few other suitable men (now that I look back would have been betetr chocies for me), but turned them down bc I was with my boyfriend who was a cable guy. Then I graduated in 2007 and got pregnant with my daughter the following month, the only time in my life I ever had unprotected sex. Part of it was subconscious was baby fever bc my friends and coworkers were all getting pregnant and my SIL. Prior to all this, growing up and still today deep inside, i have always wanted to be something great and extraordinary and famous: an actress, a writer, maybe a model. I am a good writer, have submitted many works, write a various of genres, professors affirmed I was. I took acting in highschool and college and after people saw me act, they all praised me and wanted to be my friend, convincing me someday I'd be on the big screen or winning an oscar. I have also been told by numerous people that I am very pretty (some compare me to megan fox or rachel mcadams) Well, here I am flash forward circa several years later, working part-time and inconsistently as a subtitue school aide, for a new district, since I was let go from the first other district. Here I am with a whiny toddler (whom has given me many times of joy and laughter, but not lately) and a an average e"boyfriend" who should be my husband by now but says we are without the paper, who quit his job as a cable guy so he could go to school and make far less money, thus making us poorer. I was very content for awhile to just be average, when my daughter was first born and the months following I never had felt more calm or peacful. Maybe it was the pregnancy hormones still, but also my bf worked a better job and made more money. I crave financial independence now. I have looked for jobs good ones writing ones education ones etc once a week for mons now. I'm lucky if I even get an interview. However, I realize I am no logner destined for greatness, but for droneness and will be lucky to just survive. How can I deal with these feelings of reality and crushed dreams? Part of it is the lack of time I get to myself. If it's not my daughter wanting and whining then it's her father. I have tried putting my daughter to bed early but she fights so hard and sometimes I just let her stay up with me, reading to her etc., and feeling like I cant do anything.

There's about 3 weeks between my periods and it usually lasts about 7 days... it's fairly heavy in the beginning (I think, I'm not 100% positive what's considered "heavy") but then it's not so bad a few days later. Is all this considered average?
