I used to be fit and healthy, and had no problems motivating myself to train (weights). However, for the last three years I just cannot get into the mind-set. I am slowly increasing in weight, and I need it to stop. What can I do? When I used to train, I set myself goals which worked quite well. Unfortunately, one of my main goals was to increase arm and forearm size which just did not happen. No matter what I did I saw no gains, and I think that really knocked my motivation. Now, whenever I start to plan regimes and routines, I just feel sick and down. The thought of putting my body through the stresses of training, and not achieving any gains really gets me down. If anyone has any tips for motivation, or an amazing way of increasing arms size and general body fitness, please get in touch. Thanks everyone. PS. I've tried the bodybuilding forums, and other health and fitness forums, but they don't seem to want to help. I suppose it's because they have heard it all before.

im in a methadone clinic for opiates abuse, i have been for 5 yrs, and i am proud if where i am right now!! my problem is today i had to screen and they have put a live feed camera in the bathroom instead of an actual person watching. I think this is inhumane to no give me the choice of having a person or a camera, i mean the minutes after you have screened when your cleaning yourself is private and i dont feel people should watch me after the fact..i mean, im a recovering drug addict not a homicidal maniac on death row or a crazed person on suicide watch, can they legally do this?

What makes my 13 year old brother still pee in the bed? What makes him not just wake up and go to the bathroom? My brother doesn't just pee in his bed, he has peed in my moms bed and the couch in the living room. He just wakes up in the middle of the night and goes to sleep wherever.And hes peeing everywhere. Could he be peeing in the bed cause he has asthma?

My girlfriend threw her chewing gum on the ground and kept walking on. At times she thinks she is hot stuff by doing a stride in her flat leather boots. But while she was striding she stepped in a gigantic piece of warm pink bubble gum and when she lifted her boot up it was stuck all over the front part of the boot. I know karma was invented by ancient empires and civilizations in India but is this proof that it exists? In a way I was so happy this happened because these were brand new boots she was wearing and I told her not to throw the gum right on the street. However she did it anyway

I'm a 17- year old girl, turning 18 soon, and I've lately been feeling very depressed about my height, especially my legs. I'm 5'9" (175cm) and my legs are 33inches long. This time last year I was exactly one inch shorter; I would really like to have 35-37" legs and I would love so much to be at least 5'11". My only hope is that I'm still growing. while girls hit puberty earlier and it ends at a young age for them. men continue on until sometimes 22. i ask this because i was with a girl we where both 18. making out was a huge deal for her, she was a good christian girl id say very cute. and she only got better looking after we started or relationship, she lost weight got thinner and became more womanly id say. but still after all of that i never got sex from her. of course this was not the only reason i was with her, i really really liked her. but i say this because she wasent like some girls i met. and in my experience only the "slutty girls" have seem to enjoy sex and they are few in # or % in general compared to the general female population. lets call this girl sarah. "sarah" told me she didnt get her period till 16 which i find odd. but is that the reason she was not into "touching"? or the idea of sex? so yeah she will be 19 very soon, where still friends. and she still hasent had sex which is fine i guess but i find it odd. i remember 1 time we where drunk together and i thought surley she will let me finger her but i was wrong. before we ever got together she told me of a time she was a little tipsi at a birthday party and how a guy tried to sleep with her and she blew him off. and ended up sleeping in a bed near or next to a nerdy guy who she new wouldnt try to have sex with her. so yeah my friend who is my ex. is still a virgin still conservative but i cannot understand how she is not into the idea. and yes i really did like her, i did not just want sex, but of course it was on my mind.

This is the first time im knitting a sweater and im stuck on the sleeve instructions which are, With mc cast on 22 sts. Knit 5 rows, change to st.st, work 8 rows of stripe pattern. at same time, increase 1 st each side every 4th row, 10 times and every 6th row twice, 42 sts. work even until sleeve measures 11 inches.I understand the increase 4 sts 10 times but what throws me is the 6th row twice part. So do i increase on 4,8,12,16,20 etc and also on the 6th row and 12th row? If i do the increases on the 12th row (being one of the row 4's and row 6) does that mean i increase 2 sts on each edge, i really want to get this right and appreciate any advice given.

[ Dogs ] Open Question : Mast Cell Cancer in Dogs?

I took my dog to the vet yesterday for a routine check up and had the vet look a a little bump on his skin. The vet took some blood from the bump and came back and said that it was something we were going to have to watch very closely to make sure it doesn't get any bigger. The vet said that he saw some questionable cells present, not a lot, just a few. I wanted to be proactive about it so I asked if we could just have it removed if he was concerned and he said sure. After asking a few more questions the vet explained that what we would be concerned about is Mast Cell cancer. I asked if he was concerned about it spreading and he said they would take the skin surrounding it but because it was his only bump it was localized. So my pup is having the bump taken off next week and I am just curious how concerned should I be? If the vet didn't suggest removing it at first and only saw a few questionable cells, is this more of a preventative surgery? Even if it does turn out to be mast cell cancer, with only a few of the cells present, should I be hopeful that the removal got rid of it? I know the Vet did say this is very common and it can be a chronic problem of the bumps coming up. I know I will have to be diligent about checking my pup for the bumps and bringing him to the vet whenever one appears. I am more curious about what his current prognosis is.

I recently got my nose pierced this past Saturday. The inside of my nose is swollen around the end, at first I was afraid that the skin had healed around the stud, but I cleaned my fingers and stuck my finger in my nose and I can feel the end of it. After the swelling goes down I should be able to see the end again right? I just wanna make sure because I don't wanna have to get it re-pierced.
