I've never met/ talked to anyone who has dreams like them and they honestly freak me out a bit. I have recurring dreams, but they aren't like where everything happens the same over and over again. No, they are the same place, and same scenarios usually, but different things happen in them. Like I make different choices that lead to a different outcome then a previous dream. For example, the other night I dreamt that I was in the old western town and there were people destroying the town and trying to kill me. During the dream, the people were searching for me in this school, and I was quickly deciding either if i should run into one of the bathrooms, or run outside. I had a faint memory and felt that if i ran into the bathroom I would be killed. So instead I ran outside and safely got out of town and eventually woke up. When I woke up, I remembered having a couple of that same dream years ago. This happens a lot, like I'll wake up and be like oh I remember that place. And for a couple of the dreams I have been the same places so many times, that even though I've never been there in real life, that they are basically a memory. Some dreams I have dreamt so many times, that they are memory's. Or movies in my mind. I don't know how to describe it. But it confuses me so much, and yeah. I'm sorry if this made no sense, but im really hoping it did. Im a fifteen year old girl if that helps, but I've been having dreams like this since I can remember. Could someone please help me?  |

I had a lot of friends, I got all A's, there wasn't a lot of drama, i was in track and cross country, and did very good in both; everything was perfect. I actually looked forward to going every morning. I pretty much grew up at that school..Then my mom wanted to move to a bigger city (which i'm not used to at all.) We ended up moving 3 times that year, and I hated all 3 schools. I went to one school, that was WAY WAY WAY to big, so I was either lost, or there where a lot of preppy people there making fun of me. I hated it. The other school, was a little smaller, but same problem. The other school, was small, but of course, They all grew up together, so I wasn't welcome. I made a 'friend' there. She seemed really cool. and then I was in an accident, and was hurt very bad. I broke a lot of bones in my face and had to have plastic surgery, which i obviously didn't look exactly the same, but not terrible. So, my "friend" started rumors saying I was in a mental hospital and everything, so I was being labeled as a "freak" and when i finally came back I was being called a fake and ugly and stuff, cuz of the plastic surgery. And my mom seemed to have never cared. She was happy, and that's what mattered. I know she loves me, but still. I ended up being held back for falling behind, while i was in the hospital, but i ended up testing out of the grade so that i'm in the right grade. And now I'm in 8th grade. I'm still being messed with, people spit on me, and throw things. And on top of that, I'm stressed from work. I hate the school so when i come home, I wanna focus on being home. Not staying up from 3 pm to 1 am doing homework. I HATE THIS. I'm so so so stressed! I also have an auto immune disease and i had to have an ultrasound done so they could see how much it improved and then my "friend" told everyone that I was pregnant, now I'm being called a slut. What do I do???? I seriously want to runaway, but that's not very logical, but I definentley don't want to go to that school!!!! Please help me!!! Thanks.  |

I had these two roommates, and we all got along great, but they were closer to one another than to me. I was only a subletter for a couple of months, and plus I was barely around, so I get why they had become so close - but I did sometimes feel hurt and left out. On this night, they had a friend come over - the friend was coming with one of the roommates who was returning home. When they all sat down in the common room, I sat down with them in an effort to be friendly and social. They were talking, and I tried to make conversation with them, but after a few minutes the two who had just come back said they were going to go get ice cream, and they asked my other roommate to come with them, and just ignored me completely. The three of them left, and I burst into tears pretty much right after they walked out the door. When I think about it now, I know it wasn't that they didn't like me, as we did go out to dinner on my last night living there, and they were happy to hang out with me then, but on this particular day they just wanted to spend time with their mutual friend who they hadn't seen in months. But that night, I was just crushed and felt totally rejected. I called a help hotline, and got a counselor who really only made me feel worse. He was really cruel in my opinion. He basically made it seem like it was ridiculous that I even cared so much about this, and repeatedly said these girls did not want to be my friends, didn't want to have anything to do with me except the money that I was contributing to the rent. He condescendingly called me "ma'am" several times, including "Ma'am, you need to get a hobby." He even suggested that in order to not be someone who is so upset by things like this, I "get a man" (he kind of cut himself off before finishing the word "man") - I was just absolutely shocked that a counselor would callously scoff that I should get a man. Another sore spot for me really, as I'm 25 and have never really had a boyfriend. He also said that they had no obligation to ask me to come with them (which I know is true actually), but I was floored when he actually said that based on what he was hearing from me, he thought that these girls had made the right decision by rejecting me. He said several times "they don't want to be your friends - they are acquaintances, in your case roommates." He said that I seem like I'm needy and I can't force myself on people - which is not what I was doing at all IMO! I see now that just sitting down with them that day was a little awkward, but everyone makes mistakes. I wasn't forcing anything at all. At one point, I said I just wanted to spend some time with them before I moved in a week, and he pretty much but me off mid-sentence and said "Well they don't want to spend time with you." I eventually just cut off the conversation because I didn't need any more abuse. I had called this hotline because I was upset and needed support, and this counselor basically just made me feel like a loser. As a counselor, he should have known that any person who calls the hotline could have any number of issues. I was actually suffering from depression at the time - what if I had been suicidal, or what if I had social anxiety disorder and really thought of these two girls as my close friends - this counselor saying they want nothing to do with me could have really been disastrous! The way he was talking, it really seemed like he was TRYING to hurt me. I especially can't believe his suggestion that I "get a man." That was beyond inappropriate in my opinion. Since it's been weeks, it's too late for me to report him, but I was wondering, is it just me being oversensitive or was he really out of line??  |

I realize you wanted me in the program because you were concerned about me not really having a career in mind. I also had a very limited time to get out if I didn't want to be in it. This wasn't a decision I made lightly and I don't mean to hurt you in any way, this was all me. If you're still concerned, I am doing a few things; I'm taking a class that will get me certified in photoshop which is useful in pretty much any type of design career so I'm not limiting myself to gaming only.I won't blame you for being angry but just please understand why I left the class.  |
