My book says all of a worker's income less than 100,000 should be taxed, so shouldn't all 99038 of this guy's income be computed towards SS tax?  |

I requested to see the kitchen so I could see the boxes of linguine and sure enough, the boxes of linguine were there. So when I got home, I cooked it with linguine and I like it better. However, this guest at home (my wife's friend) said my yakisoba was americanized and not authentic. The guy who was complaining can't even cook, just some guy that thinks he knows everything.  |

Posted: 24 May 2011 09:14 PM PDT It is troubling to me that my teenager doesn't, or won't, take responsibility for her actions. She is a good (honor roll) student, very smart, and very loving, and sometimes quite helpful. However, on nearly a weekly basis she has confrontations with myself(her mom), or another adult because she chooses complete disregard for rules, and sometimes even laws. It could be as simple as going a certain route through a school to after school activities. She'll choose to go through a hall that is off -limits. When confronted, she'll get a self-righteous attitude. It's as if she believes the rules don't apply to her, and instead of apologizing and going the other way and not repeating the mistake she will repeat it and continue to defend her perceived right and then shrug her shoulders, and roll her eyes. She acts as if the adult is wrong. When I ask her why she gets the same attitude with me. She says, "it's no big deal". When I explain why it's a big deal she seems to get it and then I'm completely frustrated when she continues to act like it was nothing and defend herself again. She won't admit she was wrong to break a rule when clearly she knows she has. The example I used is just one instance. I deal with this almost weekly, and I am completely stressed out. I can't seem to get through to her. She'll take the consequences for her actions and learn nothing. I just live in constant fear of what she's going to do next, or who she's going to offend. Any ideas?  |

My bosses and managers play favorites and really treat my department like crap. There are 4 girls in the office that are currently enrolled in college, myself included. Half way through my 1st semester they told me and my best friend ( coworker ) that we could no longer attend school, to either pick between school or the job (because it interferes with our schedules) yet the other two were allowed to attend and come In whenever they pleased. When I took this to my HR department the justified it because Im in a different dept. Which is b/s because when one girl who was in school didn't show up they gave me her work to do. Lately it seems that they have been picking on us... Our boss told us to do a "project" so we followed instructions, then got written up for it! I have been told that I am lucky to have the job at my age, and told me I am clueless and have no idea what's going on, I've been there for 3 years already. Every day I become more stressed and depressed, i don't want todo anything anymore, just have no energy. Idk what to do any more, I'm the quiet one and never argue or start issues, in fact I've even suggested and have SUCCESSFULLY made changes to the way we complete our jobs for the better. But apparently I'm still "clueless" to them. I can really use advice, I can't take their crap anymore. Thanks!  |
