there are times (rare times now because I'm finally close to full recovery of my depression and now cutting) but when I get really upset and I can't do anything about it (i'm away from my razors, friends are around, no place to go to be alone etc) and I got really antsy this one time, like thinking over in my head and just trying to get out of my group of friends to be alone and kept thinking if I had anything to cut with.. I used to be worse with it. But the thing is I don't think I'm addicted, I might have been when I was more dependent on it, But still- when I cut and it's not just a scratch and it's somewhat medium deep like more than just a nick, I feel instant relief and it feels like my breath comes back to me and so does my sanity and clear minded.... any thoughts

I am 23 and my husband is 30. I brought my cousin to live with us on the condition that he help with rent and either go to school or go to work. He was 17 at the time that we made this arrangement and he was having a lot of trouble being civil to his mother or his grandparents. When he started out he was enrolled in culinary school and helped pay rent with his child support. Before long he had flunked out of his first term. He had a considerable amount of time off waiting for the next term to start and flunked out of that one too. His excuse was that it was a conspiracy to extort money from him. A week or so turned into a few months of time sitting around at home; during which time we assumed he was trying to get a job or go to school. He stopped paying rent when he spent all his savings (which I did not know he was using to pay rent). We gave him 3 months to get into school or get a job. The deadline was May 1st and he kept telling me he was starting school on a certain day and that day would come around and he'd have another excuse. He hardly ever helps around the house. When you ask him to do something he gets miffed. He drinks and smokes. He is not our child so we can't be authoritative even though he is really immature. He really tests my husband' patience. I don't know if kicking out would be the best thing for him because he has a really volatile relationship with his mother, but I don't know what else to do. I feel like he is jerking us around with all his excuses and he has had way too much freedom with way too little responsibility. I am also afraid that he is going to go and cry unfair to my grandma and my aunt and they will resent having to deal with him. He claims we just care about money (his rent). Advise would be much appreciated :)

Here's the thing. I had braces as a youngster, but some of my teeth have moved back, and it's creating abnormal wearing surfaces. I really want to take care of my teeth and don't want to end up like my father when I'm 50 who should freaking have dentures, but doesnt take care of himself to get them. I feel somewhat self conscious about getting them again as an adult, like what will co-workers think will they find it odd, would my family find it selfish? Although I dont think it is. I would definately get clear brackets, the less noticeable the better. What dealings have adults had with this, and does clear seem like a better choice for an adult? I find that it distracts me a lot when I'm doing homework. I've become better at balancing the two but I also am tired of being dragged into other people's drama all the time. My alternative to keep in touch would be through old-school texting and email. I will probably only keep close contact with a handful of my friends after I graduate; I'm sick of a lot of people here. I have a lot of "friends" but only a few best friends. My "friends" are people I hang out with and just have fun with, that'd I'd like to see how they're doing every once in a while and "stalk" their pages to see who they're dating, where they're going for school, how their life is going, casual birthday wishes and hellos occasionally, etc. I feel like a lot of people get narcissistic about their own lives, profile pictures, making everything look "cool" like a dating website type of thing. But is it worth the time and stress? Don't you get stalked by employers and graduate schools when you apply to find dirt on you/see if you're lying? Facebook is actually a really great way to be connected with new friends in college; posting statuses about homework and getting answers from a wide range of people/whoever is viewing your page (instead of simply emailing one person or a handful of people and they all don't know). Also when people move onto different phases of their lives, it's easier to drop in and post something on their wall (like chat or twitter style) to see how they're doing. My cousin who recently got into medical school announced it on FB and everyone commented with congratulations and got back in touch with her for a bit. I feel like deleting my whole list of friends will mean I'll never talk to them again. I know I can just have FB and go on it once a month, but I'm not sure if I have the self-control to keep me disinterested in other people's lives once I get into college. Help?

Then I did 6 minutes of abs exercises (some leg lifts, crunches, leg positioned vertically in the air and my back on the floor and doing arm reaches towards mid calf). How many calories did I burn? I weigh 113, and am female, and 5'4". I can tell you that I jogged 1 mile in 11 minutes and 53 seconds.

I'm fifteen years old, people say that I don't need to worry but I know I have to worry about my future. I wanted to be a dentist since I was little but I got depression (personal problems) and since that time I didn't want to be a dentist anymore, I just don't feel that happy feeling like I used to. When I had depression I stopped going to school, now I'm stuck in the 8th grade for the third time... I was thinking of being a tattooer since I like art but everyone says that I won't make enough money. I don't want to be a teacher, doctor, police, secretary, and so on... I am wondering if we diagnose with a personality disorder or any mental illness for that matter, if we are giving that person an illness to 'excuse' their stuckness. I'm not being cold-hearted by any means; there are several people out there who truly suffer. But what I'm saying is by giving them a diagnosis, it lets them continue to suffer in a way. i had sex today, im supposed to get my period tomorow. We had sex and used 3 different condoms so I guess you could say we had sex 3 times today. The condoms had nox 9 in them. I think the condom may have broken because when I got home and checked my underwear I saw a thin piece of latex. should i worry? it is the inspired word of God for it says so in the bible. If these people were inspired by God to write the bible than it must be true because these men would be incapable of lying in order to satisfy their own self serving needs even though God gave us free will and would not stop them from doing so. If the bible had stated that Jesus was a baby rapist I would bellieve that too and would not dare question his decision to do this for Jesus loves us.
