Richard Nixon axed the last three or four moonshots in the early 70's. Then there was a 20 year swing with the shuttles. Now the shuttles are gone. NASA *was* going to launch rockets to the moon again, with people on them to do more exploration. Apparently, some interesting things were found on the last trip, they want to find more. Alas. Obama shut them down and cut their budget by half. With a budget like this, NASA can hardly launch a weather balloon, much less do anything specific in space. What is it about the moon that makes it so impossible for politicians to see anything exciting or new, or any reason at all to go back there? Why is it so much easier to spend on something old and tired, like a war that nobody really wants?

i have a lump between my floating ribs. i went to the doctor yesterday, and the doc said that she wasn't sure about what my lump or swell or whatever is, and should take an ultrasound. but she didn't gave me any permit note for the ultrasound. so i haven't take it yet. i have Gland TB, but i'm not sure if that is the cause of my hideous swell. could this be cancer? or is it cuz of TB

Quick back story: I started hanging out with a friend more often, we became best friends, I developed a huge crush on him, came out to him as gay, he doesn't mind however obviously he's straight. At first, I had convinced myself that I was over him after I came out. I tried really hard to just think as him as my best friend, however I still have really strong feelings for him. By him being so supportive and willing to talk, it just made me more attracted to him because being able to express myself is something I look for in a relationship. However, recently he started seeing a girl (who happens to be to my one of my many ex's...) and I made a couple comments out of jealously. It was really awkward in between us, so I asked him what's up. He told me that he was mad about what I said about her, and I apologized for acting that way. I've realized that I treat him unfairly. He's really fun to hang out with, super social and I'd like to continue being friends with him. I've only told close friends and family that I'm gay. I've gone out with another guy, but the whole time all I could think about was my friend.

I live in cleveland oh and around 10;30pm my friend and i was trying to find a place so we pulled over in a parking lot to get direction, we still had our seatbelt on, the car was still running and my foot was on the brakes. The police then pulled up behind us and then told me to cut the car off. He told me that i wasn't the owner of the car when clearly i was. He then slapt me and my friend with that stupid ticket. My question is can i fight the ticket when i go to court?

Alright I'm a little suspicious. My boyfriend is in the air force, he's gonna be 21 in August. He tells me he is an Air Combat Controller. I heard this job is very dangerous, hard, and the Combat Controllers are usually gone a lot during the year. My boyfriend is pretty strong, and big. But he's home all the time. He's in In-Active duty and is only gone a week or so every few months. Is he just trying to impress me, or could he really be one? He's not even out of college yet by the way. So, I am a 13 year-old girl, and I live in Eugene, Oregon. My mother usually takes me up to Boise, Idaho every year to visit relatives. This year, however, my grandfather, who also lives in Boise, requires a hip replacement, and his surgery will take place during our vacation there. My grandmother has a few certain ailments that require her to have to use an oxygen tank 24/7. My mother will have to take care of grandmother while my grandfather is in the hospital. She gave me 2 options: 1. I will not go on the trip, and be left to my own devices at home alone, but of course being checked in by her and my collage-age sister every few hours. 2. I will go on the trip for a few days, but when my grandfather's surgery comes along, I will be sent on an airplane by myself to Seattle, and then to the Eugene airport. Then my step-father will pick me up there. **I am leaning more towards option 2, but I'm a little weary of being there alone, for my fear of being alone (Not sure what the scientific term of that fear is...) and my fear of becoming lost... So my neighbors left a couple of months ago. They foreclosed there house and destroyed their credit but it saved them money. I don't know what this all means and all but from my understand no one owns the house no more. They left several possessions inside the house that they didn't get rid of and I have gotten permission to take what's inside from my neighbors who moved very far away. They left a microwave, a fridge and such. I was wondering about the laws behind this. Ok so I guess they don't own the house no more. But they owned their microwave and their fridge and what they left inside, which they gave permission to me to take. Now what are the laws behind this? If I took it it wouldn't be stealing right because they technically own the items that i want to take and gave me permission to take correct? I just have to be careful about breaking and entering. I would have to get in without damaging the property correct? Like I couldn't break a window or anything, at least this is what I assume... So what exactly are the laws behind this. Thanks for any information.

Hello, I am 27 years old and I never went to College but I am going now. I have enrolled in the local community college and I will start soon. I want some advice on what to major in. I want to learn a trade but I am not sure which one to study. I want either air conditioning/refrigeration technician or aerospace technician? I know that each one pays pretty well but I do not know which one that I would enjoy the most or which one would be the hardest. I really think that it is time that I done something with my life and I know that it is about time that I learned how to do something with my hands and this is my chance. I just do not know if I have considered everything that I should have. So which one should I learn: HVAC Technician or Aerospace Technician?? If there were an earthquake of monumental or historical proportions to occur on the major fault line off the coast of Seattle, would there be any concern for the people of Seattle? For example, I know that the people of LA will be screwed when the fault line, which is scientifically and accurately predicted, creates an earthquake of historical proportions (it could happen any day now, they just cannot predict precisely when, but they know it will happen very soon due to tectonic plate movement). Seattle's major fault, however, does not lie under the city. (You can't blame it! ok ok bad joke lol) Thus, when Seattle's fault greates an earthquake, obviously there will be some water damage to the shore depending on how big the tsunami gets. However, what about Seattle? Is it safe? DO you think that regardless of whether it is safe from the earthquake itself, that there would be any flooding resulting from the tsunami, since Seattle is situated on the shore of a bay?
