I saw this question (link below) and was wondering if Toronto has a big Muslim community? What about Jewish communities? Finally, is it true, as the Muslim states in his question, that it's fairly easy to get a Visa move to Canada if you claim you're going to live in Quebec? if you knew you were leaving the country in a few weeks for about 4 months... would you tell your very close guy friend you have feelings for him? the timing is horrible, i know. but recently i can't hang out with him without feeling SUPER happy when i'm with him and super depressed when i'm not with him. i almost want to tell him just to get it off my chest, but also to find out how he feels. at least if he doesn't feel the same, i'll have 4 months to get over it and by the time i come back hopefully we'll be back to normal. or is it best i don't say anything and let our relationship gradually progress as it has been, and hope that when i get back we can pick up where we left off once we've had some time apart? HELP PLZ. and if you WOULD tell him, HOW would you tell him without ruining years of friendship and making things weird? we've hooked up a few times but never talk about it because it didn't seem like a big deal at the time. all our friends think we should be together and secretly have feelings for each other that we don't want to admit.

im planning on staying at the sheraton hotel in a few months and i know you have to be 21 to check in but my question is, if i get my mom to check me and my 3 friends into a hotel room, does she need to stay with us at the hotel or can she just check us in and out? (we are all 17)

Hi, I live in a three bedroom apartment with two of my friends, and in april, we had bed bugs in our house, but only in my room. I found out I had bed bugs because I am allergic to them, and was getting these enormous swollen bug bites, that were literally 6 inches in diameter. My roommates, friends and parents all thought I was nuts until i insisted on having a bed bug dog come in, at my expense, and the dog found the bugs in my room. I called the building's management, and they sent in the exterminator that they have on retainer. This exterminator seemed really incompetent compared with the other two exterminators I had spoken with. Both of the exterminators I spoke too described an extermination process that would require a very extensive cleaning and 4-6 hours of work on their part. The building refused to pay for either of their services though, and sent their exterminator in. He literally told me to "wash my sheets" and then spent about half an hour spritzing some chemicals around the house. The problem seemed to be taken care of though, because it was caught early. Then, about two weeks ago, I was entering my apartment, and one of the girls who just moved in across the hall stopped me. She asked if we had ever had bed bugs, and i told her we had. She informed me that her apartment, as well as the other apartment on our floor (there are only three apartments per floor) had bed bugs. So do all the apartments below us, and all the apartments above us. She said the building knew of the problem, yet had not exterminated at all. I woke up yesterday with the exact same bites that I got the first time around. I know they are not mosquito bites because I only ever have had bug bites that were this large when we had bed bugs the first time around. But our building never contacted us about the bed bugs, and my roommate called to ask what the plan of action was. They said they would be exterminating all the apartments sometime last week. they never exterminated or followed up with us. At this point, I want to move out of my apartment. My dad has offered to let me and my cat move in with him for a few months, and I would like to do that. I am planning to ditch all my furniture, including the brand new bed I bought after the last round of bed bug exterminations. Please advise me on whether or not it is possible to break my lease, especially given how negligent the land lords have been.

I am 18..and most of my closest friends are 16-17, and still in high school. My best friend is in grade 11. I never really clicked well with girls my age in high school..I could get along fine with everyone and had many 'friends', but never really hung out or anything. Sometimes I even get mistaken for the younger one..because i also look a bit younger..people often think I am 16-ish.

(I know this is my third time asking this because I haven't gotten good answer and i have a little more to add.) Is he? I can't see, hear, feel, smell, or taste him. Praying never helped me in life. I see a lot of people that are good in church but are complete a$$-holes outside of church. How am supposed to believe in something I can't sense with my five senses. I know a lot of people say only God is real if you believe in him, but that makes no sense, so if I believe there is chocolate in front of me, but i can't sense it with any of my five senses, I can just pick it up and eat it just because I believe the chocolate exist. I feel like mankind only made up God and the concept of heaven and hell so people would be nicer and do good things, which don't get me wrong that was good idea, but is God really real???? Because if everyone knew there was no Heaven or Hell they wood all go insane. People wood do whatever the hell they want when they want and not give a shi+ about consequences. I've also seen people who claimed that they've seen God and it made them believe. Then I ask them what did god look like, then they give me this puzzled confused look and say "uuuummmmmm he looked like a cool guy" or something like that. But really, please don't get mad at me when I say this but I feel stupid when I pray. Like I'm just talking to something that isn't there. Does anyone else feel this way. I mean I get everything I want in life by working hard and doing it myself not by praying for some magical creature to just hand it to me. Magic is fake by the way. But I guess it's a win win situation if I just believe in God so I don't go to hell. But that's the thing I can't just believe in something isn't there and I can't sense with my five senses. I can tell everyone I believe in God, but deep down inside I don't. I'm so afraid of hell. I mean I'm a nice guy, I help people all the time and do good things. I mean I help people because I know it will make them happy, not because I'm thinking it will take farther away from hell. So yeah sorry I just can't believe in something that isn't there. I wish God would just show himself to the world, so everyone would be happy. So yeah what are your opinions on God and stuff. Do yo think he's real. Please try to back up your evidence if you think God is real. Don't just say something cheezy like God is real because he makes miracles happen everyday. Miracles happen because miracles happen, sometimes good things happen sometimes bad things happens, that's they way the world works. Also if you do believe in God can you explain his origin and where did he come from, and how did his existence exist. Thank you. By the way I'm not an atheist, a christian, or a Jew or whatever. I don't know what I am.

I know this might sound really lame, but I could REALLY use someone to talk to now! I turned 16 a few months ago and I'm going through a lot in my life right now. My dad is getting re-married soon and it's been a little over a year since my parents divorced. Not to mention, my dad cut off my phone last week and I can't even talk to my own family! I've been stuck in my room for a long time because I no longer go to school and I've been doing the same old things ever since and I barely get out of the house! I haven't had a close friend to talk to in years and I rarely have deep conversations with either of my parents. I'm not trying to make friends online, but if you want to talk to me then send me an e-mail or IM or whatever on Yahoo. If you have Skype we can IM on there but that's alright if you don't. It would help if you were in a similar situation as me so we could understand each other better. I don't care how old you are or anything as long as you are willing to talk to me and help me out. My new friend on steam is kinda getting me suspicious, he is always wanting me to click on links to youtube video's and links to the steam store....I dont know he is a nice guy he has bought me stuff, and doesnt seem like the person to hack...But he knows alot about key logging, we have talked about how hackers hack into computers and keyloggers get information.....ever since then i havent played a game with him or clicked on a link from him...He wants me to play Call of Duty: World at War with him, and he is telling me to get hamachi and he metioned something about a private network....So im just curious could he get any information, that would help him hack me or key logg me.

I'm really frustrated with life...17 yrs old...already giving up. I've had bad luck since the day I was born. I don't understand it though. My friends are perfect, they get the boyfriends, the jobs (omg I cant even get a job for gods shake) I'm stressing out-my hair's starting to fall out, I have no money and I'm trying to help out my parents because theyre broke. My friends are just perfect and it sickens me. Yes im jealous. Theyre naturally skinny, don't have a care in the world, have jobs. One friend has no work experience and she gets a job, I have more than her and I can't get anyone to hire me. It sucks. Life sucks. People tell me I'm too negative but life is sh*t. I'm extremely stressed, I have really good plans for myself but whats the point if nothing will ever go right? My question is basically does anyone believe that a person with horrible luck can actually get a break? Or is it just a case of chosen few individuals get life easy???

I got the cartilage in my right ear pierced about a week and a half ago. I've read that some white or clear discharge from the piercing is normal, and that if there are any sort of "clumps" to just get rid of them and make sure the piercing is clean. I'm worried though because the piercing still bleeds. When I move the hoop in my ear or clean the area it tends to bleed a little. I'm just wondering if it's because I have really sensitive skin or if it's possibly infected, and if so what would be a good method to help clear up the infection.

Both got out of bad relationships in the last 6 months (or are getting out of) and not ready to date, but there seem to be sparks. We've hung out alone and definitely click. He's still dealing with break up issues though (finalizing a divorce with a cheating spouse though separated for over a year), and runs hot and cold because of it. We hang out every couple of weeks for drinks in a small group of 5. Conversation comes easy and he often offers to help me with this or that if I mention a problem or project I'm working on. I don't know if they're genuine offers or just him being nice. Yet he'll not email for weeks at a time sometimes. Then again, he always acts happy to see me or hear from me. So confusing! Anyway, I sent him an email after 3 weeks went by since we last hung out in the group. He started it "hey you" and ended it with an offer to help with a project I'm working on since it's an area he has knowledge in and I was asking him questions about it in my email. Does this mean anything or am I overanalyzing? What's in a "hey you"? I'm sure I should back off totally, since he's going through major stuff right now and I'm still getting over my past as well. I'm definitely willing to be friends until the time is right...

Our floors have been disgusting ever since we moved in (1yr ago) They have stains all over them and smell like mold. We have a dog but he hasn't caused any damage to the floors they have always been bad, he doesn't have accidents in the house or anything. We have tried emailing our landlords twice now, no reply.. they are pretty chill landlords and it isn't like them to just ignore our email. I'm not sure what the next step I should take is... We would like new floors....Do we have the right to ask for this? And if so, what is the next step to take?

I was with my ex for 4 years , been friends for 10 years. He still lives at home, and 2 years ago he proposed to me. his family liked me until he told them he was engaged. Then all a sudden they started to say bad things about me as he went along with it. But th e issue is he keeping breaking promises to me. He said to me last weekend that we are going to work on us and and was taking time for me. but again he began to ignore my texts,emails,calls when trying to double check plans. He promised he was going to communicate with me but stop all a sudden. He said he is not seeing anyone. what is the issue is that we are both 37 years old and he has hurt me to the point that I have been crying for over a year when he called us off. He tells me I did not do anything. But won't fight for me and us. But he claims to love me with all his heart. I am a nursing assistant but they said to him. i am uneducated with no stability because I do not make a lot of money. i feel so betrayed I am not sure if I should let this go finally after so long. Or keep fighting for him. he said when he gets his place Ill be coming . but I am not sure i want that after all this mess. If I need to give up how do I stop myself from texting and calling. when I feel down? I know this is a lot to read But I wanted to give a little background. I don't know a lot about it but all I can remember is that there were these suburban white girls that got mixed up with this mexican gang.They would hang out with them and party and drink together. And one of the girls wanted to get initiated into the gang and she had to sleep with them. Well, she did it and she was traumatized by it so her friend reported it.
