[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Why hasn't he called me? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:17 AM PDT Okay I know the short/simple answer is that he is not interested, and I would have thought that too, but his brother (I am friends with his brother and was even before I met this guy) is still extra nosy about my personal life, he's always asking what I'm doing, what I'm up to, and gets pissy if he even suspects I'm with another guy. He even asked me if I'm seeing his brother still and I said "I duno we talked about getting together I suggested wensday and he never responded" he just said "well maybe wensday didn't work" I said "maybe but he's a big boy and knows how to get in touch with me if he wants to he will" then he completly changed the subject lol. I figure most of the time if a guy doesn't contact u he's not interested, but why is his brother still acting all protective about him and getting real nosy about my social life (his brother was never like this before and i know he's not jealous cuz he has a gf of 3 years who he loves alot). I'm so confused :( |

[ Singing ] Open Question : Should I take Guitar or Piano lessons? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:17 AM PDT I used to take piano when I was younger, but stopped taking it for a while. I've now become interested in the guitar. Though, I have a lot going on right now, I'm not sure if guitar would be the easiest route. I'm more used to the piano. I know I want to try either one of these instruments and not both. Which one should I choose? |

[ Marriage & Divorce ] Open Question : Getting married in 3 months. Need a little help!? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT Hi everyone, I'm getting married in November. I currently live with my fiancee in a nice apartment and we're really happy with where our lives are going. We've been dating for about 4 1/2 years now and I popped the question late last year. Now, we are both young (by the time the wedding rolls around, I'll still be 21 and she will be 22). I would still have a semester of college left by the time we're married. There is an upside and a MAJOR downside that we've been facing the past year. The upside: Her family couldn't be more excited that we're getting married. They've been helping us with the arrangements and are being completely supportive, while on the other hand, my family has been so-so. My parents are very "old-school." They were not thrilled whatsoever when I decided to move in with my fiancee and every time I try to talk to them about the wedding, my dad will just say "oh, great" then look the other way, and my mom will continuously say, "well, we can give you a bigger wedding if you wait." Pretty much, since it's not going my mother's way, she has to make sure to change everyones mind in order to make it everything she wants. I've pretty much dealt with her doing that my entire life. Sure, my fiancee and I get in arguments and fights, but we do love each other, and I know she's always going to be there for me, but it's just stressful knowing my own parents don't want to be on the same boat. Since my mom has been acting like this, it's put a huge strain on my fiancee's and her relationship. That is also really tough on me, because family is VERY important to me, and I don't want tension between both of our families, because then I would feel as though it was my responsibility that it happened. Has anyone else had to face this problem? Onto my next predicament. While I was reading into different articles about getting married young, one thing that caught my eye was "your relationship with your friends will change drastically." This got my heart racing a little bit, because I have to very good friends whom I wouldn't want to see our friendship change. Both of my friends (who are male), like to frequent the bars, dance with girls, and just go out and have a good time. While I've really never been like that, it has really never seemed to bother them. They have never been in a serious relationship. Both of them just date girls for a few weeks, then move on. But as for me, since I've known both of them, I've had the same girlfriend. One of my friends and my fiancee are very good friends as well, which always makes me happy, but my other friend, their relationship is just...meh. My fiancee constantly reminds me, "I can assure you, by the time we're married, nothing will change. I still expect you to go out with your friends and keep close relationships. The only major things that are going to change, is your going to have a ring on your finger and you'll be the only one in a committed relationship until the find someone themselves." I'm just concerned that my friends will not want to "hang" with me the same way. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to overcome it? Granted, we both understand that we are young, and we've put A LOT of thought into being married to one another, but when you have anxiety problems and tons of stress, thinking about everything under the sun, like I do, then I hope you can understand why I'm trying to address these issues. Thank you very much for any feedback! |

Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT There are two girls. Girl 1 and Girl 2. I've been friends with girl 1 for three and a half years and I've had a crush on her for 4 years. I've known girl 2 for about a year. Girl 1 hangs out with this guy a lot and I think she likes him so I've g decided to give up trying to find out if she likes me. Then I noticed that girl 2 is always tapping me on the shoulder from behind and then acting like it wasn't her. She also looks at me a lot. And once I was walking behind her and she started trying to fix her hair even though there wasn't anything wrong with it. And now that I've actually thought about it I do like her. I want to become friends with her so I can get to know her better but I can't just walk up to her and ask if she wants to be friends. But I also see girl 1 a lot and it's hard for me to forget about my feelings for her. So I need advice on how to become friends with girl 2 and on how to forget my feelings for girl 1. P.S. I am going into 8th grade. P.S.S. I have been thinking about girl 2 a lot lately. |

[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Wait for him or leave the relationship? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT Ive been dating a guy and our 5th year anniversary was 2 weeks ago. I was almost certain that he was going to propose but it didn't happen and I was so disappointed. My friends tell me im young and not to rush. I am 24 but I feel like im ready to marry him I just don't know what he thinks. We have talked about this a few times and he always says "the 'right' time will come". Im thinking the "right" time will never come at this point. If he doesn't know by this time that he wants to spend the rest of his life with me then there's something wrong. Is there a time limit? |

[ Packing & Preparation ] Open Question : What should I pack? :)? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT I am leaving for a small trip to Toronto tomarrow, for about 5 days. I have not packed ANYTHING yet, because I don't know how much to bring, what I need to bring, etc. If someone could give me a list of things I need to pack, then that would be great!! :) Also, its a 5 hour drive, so if you could also tell me somethings that I can take to keep me busy on the way there and back (I am 13), then that would be awesome, and there will be a better chance of me picking your answer as best answer!! :) Thanks a bunch, this is really important to me :) |

[ Singles & Dating ] Open Question : Should I message him? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT There's a guy I was seeing for a while but things got very complicated and he broke it off. He still likes me now and I still like him too. But we haven't spoken in one month. Now I saw on his facebook status that he's going to visit his homecountry for a bit. And I'm curious cuz he had told me in the past that he wasn't sure he could visit because there was a possibility they would drag him to the army there, so he had to wait until the age of 35 so that there wouldn't be that risk. Now, as his status says, he's going on vacation there so I'm curious what happened. Do you think I can just message him and ask? While also saying that wow it's amazing he's going back there and that I hope he has fun etc etc... Or should I let him be since we're not really friends anymore and we haven't spoken in one month? OR maybe should I just "like" the status that says he's going back to his country on vacation and just leave it at that? |

[ Horses ] Open Question : Relationships between girls and horses. How beneficial are they? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT I have been told by my daughter's riding instructor, that girls with horses do better in school, are more likely to stay away from drugs and alcohol, and more likely to not become pregnant as a teen. I tried to google search for the study, but couldn't find it. The instructor said it was a study done in England, I believe. I googled another study, and it stated that the emotional well-being of adolescent girls improves when paired with a horse. I'm looking for more studies, just to see what they say. I've always loved horses, and we are looking into getting our daughter a horse within the next 5 years. I'm just curious of the statistics. Thanks! |

[ Dogs ] Open Question : Went do you stop giving your puppy's milk? Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT |
Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT I see it all the time. Most atheists don't have any idea of what the bible actually says or quote the old testament which was abolished by Christ. Also, many use the dark ages and crusades to dismantle religion when the bible strictly teaches against that form of church becoming government and crusades. As I look at these it's just as it says I'n the bible, PEOPLE are corrupt. They want power and will do anything to get it. If u read the bible you would find that that kind of behavior is strictly warned against and that we are to be loving. Also the bible preaches against religion(which most atheists don't know) it says god came to save you from your sins so you don't have to make sacrifices and repeat ritual prayers. You are saved simply by admitting your a sinner and saying you love god. Now I don't know anyone who can argue that they sin. So now I don't know how you can actually attack true Christianity (which is not the people preaching on the streets that your going to he'll). |

Like this girl at work, I bug her all the time, mostly about stuff she says or does. I'm not mean though, and it seems like she might like it. She gets defensive in a flirty kind of way, and laughs. She also gives it right back to me at any chance she gets. Do women like this? Do you think she might like me? |

Posted: 11 Jul 2011 08:16 AM PDT Me and this guy I knew back in high school hung out Thursday. He knows I'm looking for a relationship, and he says he is too. I met his dad and grandparents on the first night I was over there. I felt pretty comfortable with him, so I decided to hang out with him again Friday night because he wanted to, and this time I met his close friends. The only thing I'm leaving out- is we ended up having sex on both nights. I got home after the first night telling him I just screwed everything up, because he did ask me if we wanted to keep going after he kissed me. He told me he didn't see me any different and wants to keep hanging out because he felt a vibe. He texted me Saturday wanting to hang out AGAIN. I told him I was at my cousins graduation party, and he didn't really seem happy. He kept pushing me to come over at 10pm when I was tired and not really feeling up to it. Sunday morning he texted me saying he was sorry and he was drinking and felt bad for saying what he did, and asked if we could hang out. Like damn, I just met the kid and he wants to hang out everyday. When I told him I had work and a job interview because I'm done with college, he says, "You act like you don't wanna hang out now," which isn't really the case because I do, I just can't do it everyday. And when I asked him to drive to my house because I've driven there so far, he tells me he's too lazy. When I explained to him that I might not be able to see him every night, he didn't text me back and I still haven't heard from him. Did he fool me into thinking he wanted a relationship, but really only wants sex? Should I text him? What do I do? |
