Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

I am just turning 18 and for as long as I can remember I have had eczema and have been using betnovate cream... Even as a baby. I know that it is a steroid cream and supposed to be strong but it doesn't work! I have just been prescribed the strong version, 0.1% I think, but my eczema is still weeping and it's only going to get worse as it always does in the summer. All the doctors do is prescribe me more betnovate and I don't know what else to do.

[ Mental Health ] Open Question : Is it normal that when I am angry I want to break things?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

When I am really angry or frustrated, I want to break everything in sight.. Ive never broken anything valuable.. The worst was I broke a mirror. Is this normal? Sometimes I get so frustrated because I hate where I am living right now (I live with my boyfriend and his parents) They get so irritating, and I know its their house but we pay for our own things and they still feel like they can meddle and tell us what to do all the time. They are so old fashioned, as in the wife cleans and cooks all day and the man sits on his ass watching TV. And they expect us to be the same way, which will NEVER happen. I am not in a situation where I can move out yet.. What should I do about my anger problems? Because when I get angry, I want to punch a wall

[ Video & Online Games ] Open Question : What's the difference between the standard and special edition video games for bioshock 2?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

Okay, so I really love the Bioshock games, and I was recently seeing that there's a special edition for Bioshock 2, and it comes with a score album for Bioshock 2 among other things. I'd really like to have that score. I saw it being sold separately on Amazon, but Im debating on whether to just buy the entire special edition pack because I'm not sure if Bioshock 2 special edition game has more gameplay and extra scenes in it that are not in the standard bioshock 2 edition. In other words, does the special edition game have scenes in it and extra gameplay that are not in the standard game. If it does, then I'd prefer buying the entire special edition pack since it's almost the same price as the actual score. Someone please help! Thanks.

[ Comics & Animation ] Open Question : Any anime/manga any magic using main characters?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

Be it a mage, magician, sorcerer, necromancer etc. This are the ones I like: Fairy Tail Yureka (aka ID_entity) All the dotHack// Orphen (Revenge too) Mismarca Koukoku Monogatari Magic Insulator Choujin Gakuen All the Tales of anime/ova up-to date All of the Slayers incarnations I guess FMA (& FMA: Brotherhood) count, because Alchemy is kind-off scientific magic. & Hellsing anime & ova (Alucard has the traits of a necromancer) -I would like Rune Soldier (or the main character) more if Louie wasn't a wannabe magician -And I would like Familiar of Zero more if it wasn't for the whole harem thing

[ Other - General Health Care ] Open Question : Diarrhea from Mira lax?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

My daughter was having stomach pains occasionally during the day for about 3 days, and every evening the pains would get worse, and her belly would be huge from bloating. After 3 nights of this i took her to the doctor, they did an x-ray and found out that all but a little section of her large intestine was impacted full. They decided to try her on Mira lax one capful in the morning and then another later if she had not had a bowel movement. She had 2 doses the first day, and one thereafter, this was friday that i started the medicine. Yesterday she started to have loose stools, but then it turned into diarrhea, 5 times yesterday, and 8 times today. She weighs 54 pounds and is 5.5 years old. Our son was on this and it never did that to him so this is totally new to us. Is it too high of a dose or can she just not tolerate it? She has a very very sensitive system to begin with, as she has asthma and allergies.

[ Entertaining ] Open Question : Sweet 16 party ideas?

I'm turning 16 in a few months, and I'm so lost about how to celebrate! I guess I didn't realize what a big deal it was, but people are expecting me to throw some huge party or whatever. The thing is, I really don't want a party. It's not that I don't like parties, I just don't like them when they're for me, ya know? But anyway, what other things could I do instead of having a party? Or do you think I should suck it up and have a party anyway? I'm completely freaking out!! Thanks!

[ Respiratory Diseases ] Open Question : Can't breathe at night?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

Hello, for the last few months I have had a continuous blocked/runny nose and since summer started, I have always had a cough. I cough up phlegm a lot. More recently I seem to wake up at the middle of the night breathless and unable to breathe. Is this to do with summer at all? I can breathe perfectly fine during the other months, and really has become a problem this last month (the breathing part anyway). I have tried taking my sisters asthma pump to try and relieve symptoms. It helps a little, but doesn't last very long before the syptoms show back up again (maybe it's expired or something) Can someone help me?

[ Women's Health ] Open Question : Any Tips For Breast Reduction Recovery?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:01 PM PDT

I'm doing pretty well, almost a full week post-op, but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to speed up healing and reduce swelling. I am already on a low sodium diet, and have been eating eggs and drinking pineapple juice to cut down on swelling. I use ice packs sometimes, but not often. I'm off my pain meds and taking Tylenol Extra Strength for any discomfort. Also, no herbal pills/supplements. I don't have the money to spend on those at the moment, unfortunately.

[ Tattoos ] Open Question : Extreme Pain In leg.?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:00 PM PDT

So, i just got a new tattoo on my calf, on Friday July 29th, and every time i go to put weight on it, it feels like my muscles start to spasm, and it takes about 15 seconds for the pain to go away. Its almost constantly there if i'm standing still, and only really goes away when no weight is on it. It has made me fall over a couple times already, and I am worried that my muscle might be infected or some how extremely injured. Does anyone have any advice on what to do? Should i go to the doctors? ((Extra information.... This is my forth tattoo, and none of them have hurt like this before))

[ Religion & Spirituality ] Open Question : Do you still let your kids believe in "Father Ramadan"?

Posted: 01 Aug 2011 09:00 PM PDT

I'll never forget being a little girl and still believing in him. Hanging our burqas by the artillery forge in our living room Waking up Ramadan morning, surprised to find them filled with Soviet grenades and automatic weaponry I remember lighting the execution platform for him so he can see while he walks through the house and sacrificing my favorite pets to satiate his bloodlust enough for him to make it to our neighbor's house without being overcome with murderous rage. Remember how magical it all felt? Oh the joys of being young and naive... Do your kids still believe in him? or have they gotten old enough to offer up a year of indentured servitude in exchange for the truth?
