It is acreage reporting time . . . . . . . fill out your maps.
Please complete your maps, drop them off at the office and make an appointment to come back and complete the certification. This should reduce the amount of time that you will need to spend in the office. Crop insurance maps are not acceptable, the info must be on the FSA official maps.
MARKING YOUR MAPS - for each field include: Crop & Variety, Intended Use (grain, forage, grazing, or left stand), Date Planted. All acres (cropland and native grassland) need to be reported to be eligible for benefits. Draw prevented planting areas on the map and provide an estimated acreage. Failed acres must be reported before evidence of the crop is destroyed.
The acreage certification deadline is Friday, July 15, 2011.
