I'm thinking of switching my dogs food from Purina SmartBlend to Taste of the Wild which is 25-32% protein. I've read the reviews and it looks like such high protein isn't right for some dogs. Can you tell me if my dog would do okay? (I'll also talk to my vet) My 1st dog is ACD/Border Collie mix, she is 5 years old and is mostly active. She weighs 35 lbs. My 2nd dog is and ACD mix, she just turned 3, is very active and involved in agility. She weighs 30 lbs. Thanks in advance! :D

I have been wondering this for a good while. I have been showing signs for a good while too. But lately I have been getting extreme cramps at my lower abdomen right below my waistline. (I put my pants where the top of my hip bones barely stick out over them so I call about half an inch below my pants my waistline.) It is right after and right b4 I use the restroom. I have also been getting very light yellow stains in my knickers. (Like a straight line straight down the middle of the soft pad like material in the bottom of knickers. It is gooey when its wet but when it dries it is hard and uncomfortable. I have been having discharge for over a year. I am eleven and in 2 months (august) I would b twelve. Am I about to "start"? Is this a false alarm? I have been super moody lately. I have even cried over a BABYFOOD COMMERCIAL! (Bcause I thought the babies were cute) Is this "IT" or is it a false alarm? Please let me know! (PS I am embarrassed to ask my dad and I don't know who my mom is so please answer like I was your own child talking to u! Don't tell me to "ask your parents") THANKS!!

Ok, im 18 and started realizing - due to partying myself - what alcohol can do to you... SO - I noticed my parents drink - a lot. Which scares me cuz I want them around for a long time - despite there quirks. So my dad - he drink a 6 pack everynight, bout 6 Coors Lights in 4 hours. He has had more on occasion but never really saw in drunk, he has been drinking like this for 25+ years, the thing is I cant complain about his health because I saw a blood test in the mail come back for him - opened it as we both have the same names (that was my excuse) and read everything and his "total" cholestorol was 195 - HLD was 70 and LDL was 80 and trigs (?) were 230 - that said "High" He is 5' 8" and 155 lbs with 119/79 blood pressure and has no belly - but no six pack either. Now from what I have read - that is not bad. Plus I heard he used to heavily drink hard liquor at night and be drunk but hasnt anymore. Now my mother - different story... she drinks hard liquor and A LOT. More often than I care to remember she throws up in the kitchen - bedroom - and its always red.. despite what she drinks. She doesnt work and is very over weight like most people are in America. She drinks ALL day and seems to always stink like hard booze and has attacked my dad on a number of occasions. She is very pale, almost sickly looking, yellowish around her eyes - probably due to lack of sleep - because I hear her all night long up and down the stairs and caught her a few times swigging Vodka (gross I know) and to help her back to bed. She once puked all over my fathers dinner at the dinner table - I know - gross. So I guess I am asking, with all the facts (and I just read them from his blood tests) my dad seems ok, but its my mom, who do you think is worse? And should I be concerned with my dad? He is happy with her, never complains bout her drinking, and I dont know why. Who is worse?

a few days ago i told him about things that i had done in the past... I'm not proud of them (they're sexual but it was before i met him) he says he's over it and he's not hurting from it but when i told him his eyes got red like he was going to cry.. i saw him tear up as well.. we were in public because i was so nervous i couldn't wait til we got back to my house (i wrote it in a note). We talked about it alone after we got back and i confirmed everything in the note he was worried about. he misread a few parts. i feel a lot better now that he knows but i still am not sure if he's hurting from it.. how do you know what a man is feeling or if he's hurt..?

I'm 24 & my partners 29. Wev just had our second child.. He's 6 weeks old now. My boyfriend used to smoke weed till about 8 months ago. We trust eachother when it comes to the opposite sex, but the problem lies when it comes to normal day to day stuff. He thinks I do nothing but play games.. He thinks I talk to people at his work and try make him look bad.. When I don't know anyone who works with him! I bought him a watch for fathers day.. It wasn't too expensive, around £100, he dozent like it.. Which is fair enough, but he says I bought him one he didnt like on purpose.. If I don't wear my slippers around the house, it's too wind him up? I'm a mother of 2 kids, I'm still tryin to get myself in a new routine with the new baby, I dont get much sleep... & feel like he's watching for every mistake I make. When it's good it's great, otherwise he's making me question my own sanity! Its putting a lot of pressure on the relationship, I don't know how to handle his extreme paranoia!! Please help!!

It is hard to figure out the balance of what is good or bad in something. It is just much easier to notice one small part is bad, and so you can decide the whole thing is bad. But this is "black and white" thinking, isn't it?

I got a traffic ticket and it says I am supposed to turn it in today with my plea at 6 pm. The courthouse I have to go to is like 50 miles from where I live and I cant go tonight. I already went down there to try to turn it in this morning but they were closed for construction. Theres no way to plead online like with a lot of the other tickets Ive gotten either. Should I just call them and tell them whats going on? I cant go back out there because I had to leave my car at a shop until late tonight.

my friend and her boyfriend had drunken sex at 4.00 in the the morning when no one was out.. it was in a park and nobody saw... except a policeman who happened to see something when he was driving pass. He stopped them and told them to cut it out, then got back in his car and drove off. Why didn't they get done for public indecency. I'm in the UK by the way.

I got a German shepherd about 2 weeks ago for my Th birthday. She is now 10 weeks old and named Kira. heres the thing, she doesnt lisine to me or anybosy els AT ALL and has a bit of a biting issue and she also pees and poops in the house. I try to train her but it seems she just doesn't understand anything. its like if shes untrainable. My mom says shes retarded and we have to give her away because she will never act normal and that she doesn't want a dog that acts crazy. but i believe there's hope for my baby girl. I really really done want to give her away ive had the experience of losing the best dog in th world in november. She was a 14 year old black lab, she got put down because she was starting to get seigers and it was caused because of her old age. I really dont want to go threw the emotions again PLEASE HELP :'( !

I found a fly on the floor (I thought it was dead) and when I picked it up I noticed that its legs were still moving. It kills me to see an animal in pain like that & I don't know what to do. I thought about just squishing it to put it out of its misery since it seems to be suffering so much but I can't. I want to heal it. Its wings aren't broken or anything. Neither are its legs. I don't know what's wrong with it. I may contact a vet but I feel childish & stupid.

My ex and i been together for a year, he was controlling and very insecure.. he also had anger issues. We been broken up for like a month. We still see each other and we go to the same school, but its the summer now. We tell each other I love u, and we still kiss and have sex. It's basically like its together but we not. We tried to move on but it didn't work. I always thinking about him and its killing me. I love him so much.. he said when he gets his life together he can date me again but right now these girls are wild.. he asked me have I been having sex with anybody else I said no, he didn't believe me. But he told me he got into some trouble and had sex with a girl and he almost got her pregnant. I forgave him. He said I'm a angel and I'm a good girl. He want me to wait on him, I don't want nobody else but at the same time I feel like he can do whatever he wanna do and get back with me when he want to. It's killing me, he calls and texts me call me calls me baby when he want to. He has a lot of friend girls. And I hate that, I'm jealous and he is too. That's why we broke up. I'm here for him and he's here for me. But I can't sit her and wait til he get hisself together, I tried to get another boyfriend but I don't feel right. Iwas constantly calling him my ex name.. I'm just alone, I feel useless without him.. what should I do?

I'm 29. Ok my best friends mom is 57 years old. Since she is without a car I drive her to were she needs to go. Everywhere we go, she looks at other women are criticizes them, she'll point at a woman her age that looks worse and say "That's what I'm supposed to look like, what a booze hag". In the past she has dared me to do certain things, and then when I leave.. She'll talk about me to people and tell them that I'm going wild, but she didn't mention the fact that she dared me to do it. Once she said "There is something wrong with that girl". She keeps telling me that I should get drunk with people because "It would be funny" but yet she has never drunk before.. So if she's against it, why should I do it? Does she just want to talk about me? A few times she has invited me over for dinner, and after I left she told her daughter "Julie ate this, and then she ate this, and then ate that".. When she is the one telling me to get seconds.. I'm just fed up with her, she reminds me of the evil villain in movies or something.

Today I noticed when I was sitting down beside my pool that I have a lump to the right above my knee. It's like twice the size of a quarter and really swollen looking. When I straighten out my leg is sort of disappears and the top of my knee cap starts looking swollen. My mom says it's probably just swollen from falling and hurting it or something, but I haven't fallen or hit my knee or anything like that. I just realized this lump today. And it's not really sore to touch, but after I touch or press it like five seconds after it feels a little achey. It feels and looks like a lump, not just a swollen leg. Help?? What could it be? My other leg looks normal and fine. If it doesn't go away soon I think I'll go to the doctors but we don't have insurance right now so I'm trying to avoid that...I'm a 14 year old girl by the way. I'm also currently sick with a cold.
