Hello all. This issue lurks around the base of my penis. Like, where the bladder area touches the genital area. In areas, the skin gets incredibly dry and sometimes itchy, and what seems to be cut-like indents are visible at times. I did read an article that I googled up, which seemed to be a similar issue (but in a different area with slightly different symptoms) and was diagnosed as "Superficial Skin Cancer". Now the C word, and that area, doesn't make a pleasing combination. I've resorted to Yahoo Answers first, because this issue isn't exactly a comfortable thing to talk about face to face with anyone, and I most certain would like to avoid having anyone unecessarily poking around down there.

Hi, I am having a bit of a panic about work I have submitted for my dissertation. I'm studying a Masters in the UK. There is one paragraph in my dissertation which I didn;t include references. It is only about 4 lines, but gives a definition of what quantitative research is. In this paragraph I haven't referenced put any references. I read lots of books on the topic and then combined the ideas in my head to write my own description. But I am wondering if this still should have been referenced? As you can imagine I am worrying that I might be failed for plagiarism or something like that.

I get migraines fairly often, they're in my family. Todays episode was dramatic. I don't know what caused this one but is started at 3pm, around 6 I took 2 tylenol. About 7 I took one more. Went to the park and came home. Nothing worked so I took one of my moms migraine pills and it just made me sick. I was hot, hallucinating things get bigger, wanted to throw up, diarrhea, nausea. It's about 3:30am and it went away( minor stomach ache ) I'm getting checked out by a doctor in a week but can someone tell me what made me so sick?

So I've gone out with this girl 3 times (1 was lunch together, and the other 2 were me teaching her how to play soccer -- does that count?). Anyway, I asked her out a fourth time, but she said 'maybe after your job interview?' That's not for about 1 and a half weeks, though we did talk about it a lot... is her comment sincere or a nice way of saying she's not interested anymore? I texted her the other day to ask how her final at university went, and her reply started with "thanks for remembering!" is that a sign that she might like me, or am I just reading too much into it? Any way I can tell from texting if she likes me? [We're both 20, and I haven't really gone out with anyone before] What should I do now? Does she like me only as a friend? During high school I was the kid who always had their nose in a book rather than having fun with friends. This week I have let lose before my university classes have started and I have been to 5 parties, one every night. My experience this week seems like something straight out of animal house. I have made some great friendships, been introduced to dorm traditions, been laid by one of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen, did 2 keg stands, learned beer pong, rolled around in the grass drunk during a field party under the stars, sat in the bed of a pickup with 11 other freshman as we went to a foam party, grilled hotdogs and played Frisbee at 3 A.M. in the morning at the quad, as well as other debaucheries. My fear is that now that I have had a taste of the wild side I can't go back to being a nerd who shut himself up with video games and books. I am paying for my own school through scholarships and my savings, so I don't have to worry about my parents, but I am concerned for my own future; If freedom is this great I don't know how I can find the willpower to study enough to maintain my grades. What should I do?

At my old job, I use to talk to everyone. This one girl I always like to joke around with and I assumed she got uncomfortable as she would leave to get back to work. I never had feeling for her, I assumed it was all mutural. But when I left she confessed she had a crush on me for over two years and she said she was so taken back how thoughtful my birthday present to her was she had to go away cause her eyes were getting watery. In fact she said she was upset that I never tried anything with her, never asked her out or nothing. That she was hoping when it was just me driving her home that I would try and kiss her. I never knew I had that effect on her. Because it been 2yrs she wants me to fuck her in my car. But I dunno, we did nothing but kissed. I wanted her but I asked myself if I was in love with her and the answer at the time was no. That and I got parnoid of cops. and I wasn't being smooth. I killed the mood and we had like less than 5min. That also explain a few things cause she asked me to take her out and I did pay for everything. Nothing big just dinner and crap. She seemed a bit unease and the whole time I assumed she wanted a friend to cheer her up. She was trying to drop hints and I missed them all. I must be the most clueless guy huh? lol. But at the end of the day I realize, I actually like her and never knew it. But she doesn't respond to my text or calls. Nothing creepy. But she did text back shes sorry the day didn't work out. Even though I want her again, I;m more upset because I feel I lost a friend. What shoudl I do? I can't surprise her at work. I left on bad terms nor do I want to it would seem too wierd. but i do miss her and I dunno what to do. No contact since end of June. I do miss her genuinely. And honestly, I never dated before or anything. In fact while I was friends with everyone at my old job, I don't have any. I just accepted that I would never find anyone cause it was driving me insane before. So I probably blocked out the hints cause I would never understand why she'll be in to me.

At the beginning of the summer, I was ecstatic to be hired as a busser/food runner at one of the nice restaurants in downtown Baltimore. My foodservice experience consisted of several years in a retirement community, and the person who hired me was well aware of this. My first shift ended up being scheduled on a night that was really busy--there was a special fundraiser, as well as numerous large parties, and the place was packed. I was supposed to stay with my trainer (who was also the person who hired me) most of the night, but this ended up not happening--after an initial period of her explaining stuff to me, I got put with the guy whose job I was replacing, and then eventually was on my own entirely (with various members of the staff occasionally barking orders at me). The job turned out to be a server's assistant-type deal in addition to the other duties: getting drinks and bread, refilling water, and so on (honestly, I'm not sure what the servers themselves do if they have so much help!) I guess I didn't do *overly* well--I was (relatively) slow and often didn't know what I should be doing at that moment--but I feel like most of that was to be expected from someone on their FIRST day. And I didn't make any huge mistakes--no spilling of food, falling, confrontations, etc--and the customers I dealt with all seemed perfectly happy (unusually so, really... I guess a well-hyped, fancy place will have that effect). At the end of the night, my trainer reappeared, asked me leading questions with the implication that the job was probably too far outside the realm of my experience, and said that we'd give it another week and then revaluate whether or not the job was right for me. She said she'd schedule my next shift for a slower time so I could really learn the ropes. I was too exhausted and emotionally drained to say much back, so, figuring I'd still have a chance to learn and prove myself, I agreed and went home (where I cried for an hour :( ) The next time I came in before the restaurant opened and followed the hirer/trainer around as she did all the opening work, explaining it to me and having me do a little. At one point I was told to sweep the floor, with an emphasis on thoroughness. As I was doing so the chef/owner came by and said I wasn't doing it fast enough! (If they would have stopped being cheap long enough to buy one of those dustpans-on-a-stick, it would have gone much faster! I was trying to do this with a handheld dustpan and a crappy old broom!) After the restaurant officially opened, the hirer/trainer had me water the first table that came in. Then she told me that it looked like the restaurant was going to be really empty for lunch, and so she was sending me home. I'd been there maybe an hour and a half. A few days later, I got a call from the hirer/trainer, telling me she'd decided the job wasn't a good fit for me. I was so shocked and caught off guard that I didn't even ask for details or fight back--just said something polite and hung up. I wasn't paid for the 6-7 hours total I spent there. And now I'm left with a $8/hour temp job that expires in November, and no one responding to my applications for work relevant to my education :( I guess I have a few questions, the main one being: is this standard treatment for fancy restaurants? I desperately need money and want to apply for more restaurant jobs, but I'm terrified of having a horrible experience like this again, where it's basically impossible to succeed and just a huge time waster. Also, was this fair? Am I world's worst busser/server's assistant? Should they have given me at least one more chance at a dinner shift? Could anyone, with any amount of experience, have done much better in a brand-new environment? I've since seen the job I had reposted twice on Craigslist, so maybe this particular place is just impossible to please...

My BFF has this new bf that lives next door to her and he has no friends like I swear none an he's a year older than us (were seniors in high school) but he just sits in his basent every freaking day and does nothing he doesn't go to college he doesn't even have a job! my maine coon is 3-4yrs old and we are suspecting he has mental disorders. he will lay stubbornly in the way to be stepped on. we think its masochistic? he only does this with one human.. as if he enjoys the attention he gets when she gushes and apologizes to him. he WILL NOT move even after he is stepped on. with me, he will pick any given time to attack my feet going up the stairs. he tackles me and bites me repeatedly! when i turn around to get him off, he starts to jump at my face with this crazy look in his eyes and i am left screaming "get off me cat! u lunatic!!!" and i often have to lock myself in a room until he goes away. note: he is very intelligent, he only attacks skin. its not like hes playing a rough game, if a put long pants on, he attacks my feet, if i have slippers, he attacks my ankles, if i have my "armor" on...boots and jeans and long sleeve shirt, the game is not "fun" anymore. :/ also i will be sitting doing nothing and he will look me in the eyes and start to lick me. he watches my face and goes to lick again, then he goes and starts to bite me...then he jumps at my face again!!! once when i was laying in bed petting him, he again when from purring cute furball to MAULING MY ARMMMM like he was trying to take it off!!! i was once picked him up (in his innocent stage) and he switched to crazy and bit into my shoulder!! this 3 FOOT LONG FELINE was hanging onto my arm as i tried to shake him loose!! once he got down, he waits, sitting down, inching closer, then jumping at my face!!! and if i move my feet, he attacks them!! he needs help!! does anyone else have this outrageous issue? he is fixed and extremely well behaved(occasionally) and the love of my life. i can imagine when he hits full size and theres an unstoppable grizzly bear lunging at my face in the dark.. ahhh!!!

Ok we have all seen it, or at least heard of it, a a civil servant or private security officer interpreting a drivers actions as potential deadly force and reacting off that. I have studied many incident similar to this scenario and I recall a case in Tampa Florida were the judge said" When the vehicle is headed towards you and others there is an area of uncertainty and therefore it is not unreasonable to believe deadly force may be needed but even justified" My question is are motor vehicles when driven in an erratic way and in a crowded public place is it reasonable or not to consider deadly force when all the circumstances are tallied up and the Law enforcement officer or security officer feels this imminent danger?

I have a very loud neighbor (she has a loud speaking voice) and I don't speak to her at all. I used to but then I just stopped. I am just weird like that. I hate the pressure of saying hi to neighbors everyday so I just stick to myself. So my neighbor, she's a Haitian woman with about 4 kids. She has a car and she leaves the building and comes back home about 8 times a day. What could she possible be doing? I don't get why a person would leave multiple times everyday. I am really into languages. I have chosen Italian, Spanish, English as my main subjects. However my main interest is English and I plan to study English literature but I have been told that it's very difficult. I love it so much that I think I can pull it off with faithful devotion and hard work. I hate maths, physics, chemistry and I didn't choose these types of lessons. So, what was left were the languages and literal lessons. I don't want to be a teacher, nor a translator. I thought that if I became a teacher, I would have my own private lessons and teach students at home(homeschooling) , I don't want to join a school. I mostly think about english literature which would be interesting to teach if I like it, we'll see. But apart from all of that, what jobs could I fall into? One that is well paid and I can live with it comfortably according to what I've mentioned.
