if you hold a round ball and place a toy car at point A,move it in a straight line on the surface of the ball,it will reach point A again.isn't this correct? If it is,now take the Earth as example.Earth is sphere-shaped.If a car,too,travel in a straight direction(from point A) without stopping(this is impossible actually,but lets just assume its possible),will it reach point A again like the example on the toy car?

Need your help...... Ex got in contact last week 3 weeks ago saying he wants me back. We are meeting later this week. He ended or relationship after 3 years for no apparent reason really. We have been apart for nearly three months. He said that the reasons he saw initally can be overcome. But I want to meet up to find out the real reasons as its not really clear in my mind as to why we ended and I cant get back with him until this is clear.. Anyway his jealousy is hacking me off he keeps asking who it is that I am dating and wanting to know intimate details. Judging me for dating a few guys at the same time and saying things like I should get rid of these guys before we meet, Also saying he feels like im comparing him to these guys. Then continually saying through several email exchanges that he is not sure if meeting up is the right thing. He needs to be sure. If im just going to have him as another guy that he would rather i continue what i am doing. I got real angry he dumps me comes into my life again and wants to control it and call the shots. His he for real or playing with my head???

I am 16 and a Senior in highschool, I turn 17 in a few weeks. I am really smart i've taken a bit of A.P and Honors since Freshman year and passed with A's and B's. I don't like no challenge or easy work :/ This year I take mostly electives except A.P Literature,I know my A.P Lit teacher from my Sophomore year because she was my Honors English II teacher. She really liked me and I like her because of he things she teaches us using( like we read and analyzed a ton of Macabre and Romance Novels). I have SOME new teachers though, like my Gov. and Econ teacher. Some of them like me and I can tell but my Gov and Econ teacher.. idk.. I can read people and it seems she's hesitant about me for some reason... I don't know why. I am really quiet and I have an odd look i've been told and i'm introverted/to myself and not a disruption or anything. My boyfriend says I have a heart of gold but i'm really modest so I don't just go screaming that around even if it may be true x-x . We wear school unis and I always wear black because I don't like the colors.. and I always wear some of my bracelets that I made myself. What is it.. is she scared of me or does she not like me because I am quiet... ? Any advice would help..

I know everyone is different, but what is your opinion? I know a girl from France whom we use to be romantically interested with each other. I was planning on meeting her, but last month she broke it off. I have noticed a new guy she seems to be interested in and since we still talk she told me she does like him and he is very nice, but she has good feelings about him even though it is a bit hopeless. This guy is leaving for France in November to try and join the French Foreign Legion. She told me she was going to meet him, but only to help him get where he needs to go. I honestly don't believe she is telling me the truth and within a few months her feelings could grow stronger, but I think it is stupid. Would you wait for a guy in the french foreign legion if you were from France. The French Foreign Legion is known as a single mans army. I would think a relationship would be extremely difficult to pursue. The French Foreign Legion only gets leave for 15 days for the first year and then moves up to 25,35,45 for each following year the only issue is you are not guaranteed those days of leave. Would you find it difficult for stay with this guy. When I think about it he does come off as more suitable for her because he will be in France, be learning french while he is there, and in 5 years he will be able to apply for citizenship so they could be together. However, she will be waiting a very long time and there is a chance of him getting killed. I am at unease thinking about this because I always wanted to be with her, but knowing the person she is I think she is capable of waiting.

Okay, so I'm looking for an Android phone that costs no more than $250.00 AUD. It needs a physical sliding qwerty keyboard and touch screen. There's one that I'm interested in - Samsung Galaxy 551. I was also thinking of the Sony Ericsson Xperia x10 Mini Pro, but it's too small for me. And the keyboard is a definite! I can't use on screen keyboards very well. Suggestions please? Thanks. :))

I was due to marry after 8yrs in relationship. He eventually cheated twice; I was devastated cos he was terrible to me. rang my pal. She said for me not to talk about him. I only mentioned him once & she said 'Shhh Don't mention it, I don't want to know, cos I'm getting married. She was only dating for a month& he is 10 yrs younger than her (his 1st girlfriend) I have asked her out loads but she doesn't leave his side ever. We went for food & she kept on about her guy (which is fine) but I can't talk about my break up at all. After she invited me for food, she then changed her mind & said 3 is uncomfortable, so I went home. She had a party. I couldn't go cos meeting brother's fiancé. She shouted 'I'm pissed off with you, you're meant to be my pal. I found out none of her pals turned up & she was only girl, thats why she asked me. Next day she said "You are not my maid of honour any more cos I haven't seen you much. She asked her ex room mate of 1 year to do it (who is also 10yrs younger) instead. I was amazed cos been asking her to see me loads lately. She then said 'Also you're not a bridesmaid either.' I said her wedding was only thing keeping me going, she just said 'sorry you cant.' Im completely cut out of this wedding. It was my 1st birthday alone; she wouldn't leave her guy so she invited me up. She said 'You don't understand, when you're in a relationship, you want to be them all the time.' I said to her 'I know, I was engaged 8yrs' but her fiancé said 'Wait till your in a relationship, you will see.' He gave me advice on relationships, he is 21! I am 29. "He said he'd NEVER cheat, they will be together 4ever." Then at 10:30 she said "bedtime so I left at 5am cos couldn't sleep. She txt me next day saying we're off abroad, see you later. I asked her why is she being mean and she replied 'Your just a jealous *****, I don't want you at MY wedding.' Few days later she said 'if you want to sort this out, come up, If you don't, then fine cos I have my new husband, I don't need you. I didn't want to chuck an 18yr friendship away so we sorted it out& I can go to wedding. Her hen night went ok but her and her guy left at 12 so I said 'Can I get a cab with you as live close?' She went quiet then said 'Do you mind getting one on your own.' I would never have said that. Very rude! I said I cant have kids cos stress of ex cheating caused miscarriage and her fiance said 'we want loads of kids, cos best thing ever to be parents. We cant wait to have little boy and girl.' Few days later, they asked if I'd rent them my house after wedding cos they were homeless & cos I cant have kids I could move out. They could raise their kids in my home cos its big and comfy and as I don't need space cos single, they could do so much with it.

I suffer from depression so my doctor prescribed me an antidepressant Anyway, is it normal to lose weight when on an antidepressant? I started off on Lexapro and then switched to Effexor. Both caused me to lose weight, I'm not sure exactly how but I've noticed my appetite is much lower than it used to be. I used to have to have a full stomach before I'd go to bed and now I am comfortable going to sleep without having ate anything since dinner, which is usually like 5 or 6 hours afterward. I've lost 60 lbs and have pretty much maintained my current weight for a while, although I still don't find myself hungry very often. Is this a side effect or just a normal reaction after starting an antidepressant?

I have formatted my iomega to fat32 with easeus partition master. When i copy games from the external (iomega) to internal (ps3) the folders in ps3 are showing empty. Why is that happening? I used a usb (4GB) fat32 to copy and the games are playing fine. But i want to copy larger games on my ps3. What i should do?

I turned on my laptop the other day and this randomly came up. My dad tried to do the repair thingie with the CD but we only had an XP upgrade and not the orignal CD so he gave it to a friend who took it to somebody he knows who told me the hard drive is basicly knackerd and I am going to have to get a new hard drve for £150 new or £90 second hand. The laptop was only £250, so Its not worth it, but do you think this is true or do you think hes just ripping me off? Maybe I should take it to PC world or something?

My bike has no compression at all when I try to start it. I even tried to roll start it but nothing happened. Me and some other people tried to clean the valves, etc to see if it would help. It almost started but after that nothing. What do you guys think is wrong with it? I've heard that I need a top engine rebuild...do I need to go to a shop and do that or have some of the people I ride with help me do it? My bike is a kx250f.

We have a process patent registered in India (granted by the controller of patents, Chennai). In the register of patents, my old address is given as the address for service. Now, the address has changed and I do not know the procedure to get the new address entered in the register of patents for service. Hence, the old address is continuing and the comunication from the patents office is being delivered at my old address, which is creating complications. Hence, I request you to let me know exact procedure to be adopted for this purpose ie., any form to be filed, filiing fee, etc.
