i have the ipod nano 3rd generation, and it's working fine, it turns on and off and it didn't get wet or anything, but every time i try to play a song it freezes for a minute. if i hold the power button down for a while, it returns to normal, but i still can't play any of my music or videos. it's nothing to do with the buttons...i didn't drop it or anything either... please help!!!!! I am so sick of having to replace my ipod and spending all my money on it. i completely shut it off and plugged it into itunes and all the music was still on.... so i have no idea why it's doing this. sorry if this is really hard to follow haha i'm just really pissed right now.

I have been a working software developer for 13 years using Borland Delphi(9 years), vb.net(3 years, and Sql server (13 years). I find I have enough practical knowledge but but my theoretical knowledge is sometimes weak. I am thinking about going back to university part time to get a Computer Science degree. The question is, at this point in my career, would it be worth the investment in time and money? Or am I better off sticking to vendor certifications? Would a CS degree be useful? Would it likely pay for itself eventually? Given my experience, will employers care?

"This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine." Hailey sang from the back seat. I smiled and pulled into Tony's driveway. When I unbuckled my seatbelt and turned around in my seat, Hailey smiled and giggled. "Mama!" she said, pointing a finger at me. I smiled and reached over to unbuckle her seat belt. "Yeah, I'm Mama. But where's Hailey?" Hailey thought for a minute and then pointed her finger at her head. I nodded and laughed. "Yeah, that's Hailey!" Suddenly, the door to Tony's place opened. He leaned against the doorway. I pulled Hailey out of the car and held her hand as we walked up the walkway. When we got up to the stoop of Tony's house, he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me. "Hey, beautiful." he said. I scooped up Hailey. At the sight of Tony, the two-and-a-half year old giggled and reached for him. While Tony played with Hailey in the living room, I went into the kitchen. I poured myself a cup of water when I couldn't find any more alcohol and went to sit on the couch. Tony was tickling Hailey. She was laughing so hard she had to gasp for air. Ok my system started freezing when using the hard drive with the hard drive light on so I decided to run a chkdsk. I ran it and it took about 15 min to complete which I thought was pretty fast for a 500gb drive with 400+ used. It found some bad sectors and repaired some. The next day I forgot I scheduled a dskchk again and its running right now. Currently 1 hr 20 min in, its running extremely slow. Its on step 4 of 5 (verifying file data) its moving past like 10 files every 10 min. I'm fairly sure it may take all day and night if I let it continue. Can I just turn my system off? What are the risks? I'm going to check the smart in bios the next time I get a chance. At this point I'm almost 100% sure I need a new hdd. Any suggestions?

So, here is the deal: 3 years ago i moved a few thousand km away from home to study on a school that i was interested in. This school was located above the polar circle, so the winters were extremely long and dark. During these periods, i developed a computer addiction. My friends didn't because they smoked pot about 3-4 times a week. Something that i didn't want to participate in too often, so that only made me sit by the computer even more. My grades were always good, and i was a pretty popular guy (Especially with the girls), so i never really bothered with how much i played. whenever something fun appeared, i would have no problem to just turn off the computer and do that instead. Now, after 3 years, i have moved back home in between going to my next school. However, my addiction still remains. The problem is: I am living about 10 km outside a small town. I have outgrown pretty much all my friends and lost all my old contacts. I have nothing else to do, simply put. As i said, i have no problem leaving it to do something else, entertaining. But there just isn't anything entertaining to do here. I will begin my new school in approx 2 weeks, and i hope things will change then. But until that day, and during this summer, i have done very little more than work and sit by my computer. I want to do more, but whenever i turn off my computer to find something else to do...i just don't find anything. I am currently spending about 40 hours/week playing, and even more just browsing around, doing random things on the computer.

for some reason my braids keep getting messy even though i maintain them by using spray, putting my dourag on at night+every time i get changed yet they still keep getting messy within 3-4 days and its annoying. I downloaded HON (Heroes of Newerth) yesterday. When I tried opening it, the graphics were low and the game ran slow. I moved almost all of my files in my hard drive to lessen the files in my computer to make the game run faster. But the game is still slow, and the graphics just sucks. Help? Anyone? :)

My girlfriend and I were messing around (not having sex) and she was worried that precum had gotten ON her vagina so we cleaned it up and got plan b 36 hours later. About a week after that she started bleeding. It was pretty light and lasted 4 days. Her period had just started two weeks before she started bleeding, so I don't know if it was a side effect or her period. I thought it was her period since out lasted as long as one. Now it has been a week since her period was due originally (if she hadn't taken the pill) and I am wondering if it is normal for it to be this late or whether the bleeding she experienced was in fact her period, in which case she wouldn't be due for another few days. she shows no signs of pregnancy and we are getting a test today but it would be nice to have some relief in the meantime. I have heard of women missing a period all together, and some coming a week late. And please don't recommend me to another site, some experienced input would be much appreciated.

Right now I am at a healthy weight, but I am not toned. I go to the gym 4-5 times a week (typically run 3 miles + do some strength). My upper body is fairly week (as is stereotypical with women I somewhat neglect that area). From my understanding you need to be at a certain fitness level before starting P90x. Ideally I'd like to start in September. What can I do before then to be prepared?

WEll, don't really know where to start....been on birth control microgynon 30 for a month now...just come to the end of my 7 day break. So, started takjing it last month, first day of period. 2nd week in missed two in a row, had unprotected sex. 3rd week missed one more and had sex again. he cum in me both times. i carried on with my pack as normal then a week before finishing my pack i started getting really bad cramps in what felt like my left ovary and light, brown discharge. a week later when my period was due it was a couple of days late then was extremely heavy (heavier than my period when i werent on bc, and that was bad enough!) and was bright red in colour and lots of clots...like nothing i'd ever seen before! now, 4days after i finished my period its back to brown discharge with clots. I met this guy Matt and we are both 20. We only met once and had a great time together. We live 15 mins away from each other and he had been texting me for the last 4 days. I have two miniature schnauzers - a girl at four years old and a boy at 5 months old. I was thinking about getting a cat, would there be any problems with my dogs? I adopted my dog 6 months ago, and she has been on monthly flea and tick medication (K9 Advantix) for all 6 months. About 2 weeks ago, I found a flea next to her on her blanket, and a few days ago I found another on my bathroom floor. She has been scratching more than usual, even though I applied her regular flea and tick topical medication more than 48 hours ago. Perhaps she is still scratching the bites, but I'm worried the fleas somehow keep coming at her, and I worry that they have laid larvae somewhere in my house. I have been vacuuming regularly and washed every blanket in the house. Any advice for further cleaning of my house, checking for fleas, or keeping my dog comfortable would be greatly appreciated.

I grow my tomatoes in large pots. using potting soil. even though i fertilize every 10 days, they ripen before they are full size. just a little bigger then cherry tomatoes. (early girls and roma's) I water often so they do not dry out. What am i doing wrong.

My Dell desktop has been working fine on a Ethernet cord connection, but while it was asleep, it lost the connection, and can't find the cord now. The cord still works on other computers, but the light doesn't even come on in the back of the computer when it's plugged in like it used to. I've tried reinstalling the network drivers and using other cables, but nothing has shown any luck. Please help if you can. Thank you
