As long as I can remember I have been a very private person. I don't even tell my own parents everything that happens in my life at all. I just don't like talking about myself. I have a boyfriend now and I know that I have deep feelings for him and he has them for me... But i don't like the idea that someone needs me in my life... I just don't know if dating is for me. ..Idk if having divorced parents is the cause of this... Their divorce makes me not want to get married honestly, relationships seem like more pain than anything sometimes.... I just feeling like pushing people away a lot but I'm trying not to. Because I know it is a dumb reason to break up with someone even though they make me really happy right now.

stupid question but, my mom gave me abit of some 'ancient chinese wine' (lol wut) and she gave me a teeeeeeeny bit- basically enough to fill a tablespoon and i just swallowed it, it won't do any harm or stop me from growing will it? also, it tasted disgusting.

my friend only smoked weed 3 times in July of last month and needs to pass a drug test on the 26 of august this month.he hasnt smoked since the end of july.. if he drinks water and exercises and doesnt smoke until then, what are his chances of passing that drug test?

When I was a cutter I did this a lot more than I do now, but I still do it like once a week, and then put the wax on my mirror. Is this bad or dangerous? It turns my skin red for a couple hours then goes away. It's a lot less addictive than cutting, and I got over that. I could get over this too, but I'd need a reason to motivate me. So far I can't see a reason why I should stop, it doesn't seem dangerous...

I don't claim to be a expert in psychology or anything like that. But I don't see the point in marriage. There are so many reasons why I think it is pointless (completely without meaning) and is a waste of time but I don't feel like typing them all out. Don't get me wrong. I don't think it is necessarily a bad thing, but why do people do it so much? Why is it so widespread? Why do people yearn so much for it? Why do people use someone's marital status as a barometer of their personality? Why is it so widely sought after? What is the big deal about marriage? Why does it HAVE to be so inevitable and a cultural expectation of every living person? Why do people even want to get married in the first place? I truly and honestly cannot see what is so devistatingly appetizing about it. Someone please tell me why.

I was talking to my one guy cousin and telling him that when I meet guys that only the really really confident annoying cocky guys come over to talk to me or I have to go talk and talk to a guy. He told me it was because I can come off as intimidating and guy would be nervous around me and that I actually do attract guys I just don't see it. I don't understand how I can be intimidating. I don't really understand what he means. I am always smiling and happy. I think I'm pretty friendly and don't glare or anything. Is he really trying to tell me I'm ugly and that I'd scare the guys away? How can I be less intimidating? (whatever that means) I'm just confused.

While at a 4th of July party I met a girl whose my cousins best friend. The problem is she is only 13 (she turns 14 in September) and I am 17. We connected almost immediately and started talking ALOT. We have so much in common that I fell for her almost instantly (she also happens to be truly beautiful not just on the outside, but on the inside as well which is such a rare find). I have a family friend who is a lawyer and I asked them if it would be okay to date her and she said yes so long as their is no sexual relations because that can get complicated when I turn 18 in may which is perfectly fine with me because I dont feel a desire to bring our relationship to that point. So I went ahead and asked her to be my girlfriend. She said yes, and her parents are okay with it because they trust her and I to make the right choices. After this happened I began to get alot of mixed feelings from my friends and she was too. My cousin has decided she will not talk to me and is making things awkard between the two of them. Yesterday we broke up and I am absolutely devastated about this. we decided to call it off because of how people were looking at us (assuming I was just taking adavntage of her), the age difference, and we live 3 hours apart. I know I am young and she is very young too, and I forgot what it is like to be at that age, you like the idea of being in love but cant actually put yourself there. We talked and she doesn't think she can handle a serious relationship at this point in her life (although she is not sure) and the stress its putting on both of us, seeing her like that made me feel terrible because I never wanted to bring her anything but joy. What I am getting at here, is that I am completely in love with her, and I cannot imagine my world without her there by my side. Is it selfish of me to want her back? I know I need to let her experience that part of her life and mature abit more but I cannot get over the fact that I do not have her with me anymore. what should I do? every time I think of her it brings tears to my eyes. I have never handled a breakup like this and its really scaring me. My mom brought it up to me today that just beacause one "door" shut, another has opened and there are of course other girls out there... but like any stubborn person who has been inlove (speaking of which do you believe this is love like I do?), I DO NOT want anyone but HER! I have dated alot of other girls in the past and none of them make me feel like she did, she made me feel like a whole new person, I could be myself around her without fear of judgement (i'm kind of a dork, one of those football guys that thinks hes cooler than he really is). Another point my mom brought up also is that just because its ended now, doesn't mean there isn't always a possibility that when she is older we could try it again. I would certainly wait for her as she is the only girl I have ever loved, but what is the reality that me and her would come back to this years down the road? also I really want to keep talking with her but to what extent should I go? I don't want to seem like the guy that's trying to hard, but I do not want to lose this, should I give her space? if so, how much? What do I do! - sorry for this being so long

I saw a huge flash of light and heard a loud boom, I was in my house and the entire house shook. I was in the house with 3 others. People saw the light and heard the boom within a radius of about a block and a half... everyone around that area went outside. It was at night it was somewhat humid. we ruled out normal lightning and heat lightning. I saw the light as it was white my friend saw it as yellowish tinted. If it helps I live in Wisconsin in the city. what is this phenomena?

I met this guy at a seminar event thing not too long ago and we've kept in touch since so that we'd stay friends. We talk on Facebook for 5+ hours nearly every night. Anyway, in the early morning hours he texted me saying he's not going to be on Facebook tonight and that he doesn't drink much but that he was drinking with his friends and drank too much. I playfully mentioned how I was jealous, and he said that there's nothing to be jealous of, that people should be jealous of me, and that I undervalue myself. He's told me stuff like this before. After that I asked how drunk he is because I thought he sounded a bit off, plus he kept misspelling words. Anyway, today (in the evening/afternoon) he gives me a long apology for drunk texting me. Apparently he's never done it before. What possibly made him do so this time? I'm interested in the psychology going on here.

Which Laptop should I get for college? Hp dm4x (2nd gen. i5, 6 gb ram) or Dell Inspiron 15r (2nd gen i5, 8 gb ram) The biggest difference is that the hp has a 7200 rpm hard drive and the dell has a 5400 rpm. Will it be that big of a difference?

I am tired of eating unhealthy and I was wondering if there was a better, simpler way to eat healthy. So I'm an idiot, and while sanding my guitar i split the wood and there is not a hole about the size of a fingernail through the finish of the guitar. You can see right through it.
