My uncle (mom's brother) died in Peru this Wednesday morning. My mom comes from a family of 7 and with my uncles death, it leaves her with 1 sister and 1 brother. My mom left the country immediately to go to Peru. I love my family and when I heard of my uncles death I was really sad/angry. I even cried a little when I was alone. Before my mom left she said she didnt want me going out with friends while she was gone. I'm 17 and most of my friends drive, but I dont have my license yet. Now, today (Saturday) my school has its first dance of only 3 total dances (including homecoming.) I really want to go because I'm going to meet a girl there and I want to have a good time. I called her yesterday and explained to her that as part of student council I am somewhat in charge of dance events and I should be at the dance (not really the reason I want to go but it was worth a shot.) She said it was a time of grieving and I shouldn't go out and have fun when people are greiving. I already grieved, and I'm still a kid. I still want to have fun, and it's not that I don't love my uncle but he died, it's in the past now. Nothing can be done to stop it. I know its a loss. but I really really want to go to this dance. What should I tell my mom?

I have one child already aged 3 years old. I gave birth to her naturally, and the experience was terrible. I was in very slow painful labour for 3 days, took a bad turn to pain relief and was pumped full of speed, i then tore as I gave birth and the stitch work was terrible. I suffered really bad PND as it ruined my relationship with my husbnad, could not psyically feel intercourse anymore. i paid to have vaginoplasty when my daughter was one, and we are now cosidering another child but the only reason I have to say no is the thought of going through all this again. Do you think I would have grounds for a c section via the NHS, or is it possible even to pay a suppliment to have one from them? Thank you

I have a Dell XPS M1530 laptop and whenever I turn it on, it will go through some of the loading screens perfectly fine like the Dell and Windows loading screens but right before it gets to the blue Windows login screen (I have Windows Vista), my computer just goes completely black. I can still hear the fan running inside and the lights are still flashing on the front, but the screen is blank and I can't get out of it without a forced shutdown. I have to keep shutting it down and starting it back up again and it's a gamble to see when it will go to the login screen because it only happens once every couple of shutdowns. My battery recently died to so every time it accidentally comes unplugged, it dies instantaneously, so I'm thinking a lot of those bad shut downs might have damaged it or something. Does anyone have a better idea?

I asked this before, but I'll make it shorter this time - hopefully to get a few more answers. I'm 6' 110 lbs. I can tell people think I have an eating disorder - my doctor won't stop pushing the subject. I am not, in fact I struggle to gain weight. The most I got to was 114 lbs, then I was good, then I lost it because I thought it would stay. I don't have anything wrong with me - promise. I do get sick a lot which causes me to lose 3 or 4 lbs, but generally it's 110. Once a friend picked me up and said, "You are heavier than you look!" Yet another asked my weight, and then said, "Wow I expected you to be less, you look so thin." I've always felt pretty, been asked to model for people but I don't, so I don't want to gain a bunch of weight when I know I'm healthy - plus, I don't want to be one of those big 'ole tall wide people. What am I supposed to feel? It's happened a TON since I've been in college, from all kinds of people, and I just am getting confused. Do I gain weight because I look so unhealthy to people? I know it's preventing me from getting a job, but I just can't help it. I do look pale and sickly, I have my mother's yellowy eyes. What do I do?? Force myself to gain weight, or stay the way I am? PS: If I eat a certain amount of food over what I usually do, I feel sick and nauseous, so it's hard for me to eat more, even combined with exercising, which makes me lose even more weight.

Maybe it's not possible. I know that ordinarily, force is found by mass x acceleration, but in this case I think I need to know force despite the fact that it's not moving. Basically, I'm placing a known mass on a meter stick at different distances and trying to calculate the moment of the experienced at the axle point. Moments are calculated force x distance, and I can not figure out how I'm supposed to calculate the moment if I can't figure out how to calculate the force. I hope I can get help on this, if you don't understand what I'm saying, let me know, and I'll try and reword it in a way that makes more sense. Thank you for your time!

I had my spacers for braces fitted on Monday and have had no pain, but one fell out on Friday night. I put the spacer back in on Saturday afternoon using dental floss, and now it really hurts! I can't visit my orthodontist as it is closed on Sundays and I am getting my actual braces on monday! Shall I take it out or try to cope with the pain? I think I put it in wrong which could be why it is hurting so much.

About 20-30 minutes ago, I had a jr cheeseburger from Wendy's. I took the first few bites and it tasted fine. But on the 3rd or 4th bite, it tasted really bad! I spit it into a napkin and got a Taco instead. Am I going to be okay? It tasted like poop, no joke. We went and got some Dannon Yogurt, the kind that helps your digestive system, and I just finished it. Will that help? I only ate just a few bites. Please help!!

I've often read that the French would've halted expansion to the Ohio valley and West of the Appalachians had such a scenario occured; that they could not have managed to govern the superior number of British settlers in the 13 Colonies: do you think they just might've simply annexed all or part of British North America while having it retain Anglo-American culture (just like they did in Alsace-Lorraine)? Did the French plan any major land grabs in Europe and India? Would a French victory have been as stunning and effective as the British one which confirmed their global supremacy? A guy who has a gf tells me he thinks I'm gorgeous, he flirts with me all the time, tells me I'm special. I call him on his BS and tell him to stop flirting with me bc he has a girlfriend. He tells me he likes me. This goes on for a month. I like him too and tell him that I like him. He tells me he likes me. but he has a gf and he flirts so much so I tell him to stop playing games with my head. I tell him that it hurts me bc all he thinks of me is this chick who he can flirt with, but then he stays with his gf. I tell him to stop using me to just feed his ego because I actually like him. And he denies that he hurt me and that I don't make any sense. I asked him what he wanted from me. He said nothing is ever going to happen btw us and that he was just flirting. He said he loves his gf. I told him he completely played me for a fool and i told him i lost all respect for him. He tells me to stop talking to him and blocks me on IM. But whenever he seems me, he always looks at me. Why does he still look at me if he hasn't talked to me in 3 weeks?

I'm not thinking of following it myself, but after studying up on Lucifererianism and satanism it came to mind. And also, I'm not talking about the evidence of the God, I'm talking about the morals. Basically, it portrays Satan, or Lucifer as a Helios type of figure. He is a God of enlightenment and a lord of angels, but he is still the same fallen angel in the bible. It also tells of a kind of cycle, called the "Divine Cycle". The divine cycle is where one deity grows old,greedy, etc. a son or creation of almost or equal power comes to replace it such as Zeus and Cronus, Odin and Ymir (in a few details). A closely related being to him is Jesus, but Jesus didn't support the Divine Cycle, as Lucifer does. And I'd like to point out in this, he is not a king of hell or some evil liar, these are lies spread by god's misguided prophets. Lucifer encourages searching for wisdom and enlightenment and doesn't like to be worshiped, a occasional prayer and respect however is needed. Because every second you are groveling you are not walking the path of progression, the path to enlightenment.

Hi! I'm a home schooled tween. I feel that friends are one of the greatest joys in life, but I have a problem. Where I grew-up I had a bunch of friends. I had a great time! But when my parents decided to move to Florida... That's where I got troubles. Since I don't go to school, I can't meet anyone there, so screw that idea. I've been around the neighborhood, and the only kids are a few 3yr old girls. There's an 8yr old, who can't really speak English. My parents said that I'm a nice kid and making friends would be easy... So I guess they aren't perfect either. I have been on a payment plan through the court and forgot a payment since my hubbys always done it, and hes been un training, well while he was home for a few days he went in to pay and it had literally been 30 days so they put un a warrant. The lady told him to have me just go to walk in court, explain to the judge, pay it and they will lift the warrant, can,it really work like that? my disorder. I have social anxiety. It's mild but I can't do anything or speak up in class. It kills me. I want to break out of it so badly... but I always think everyone is going to look at me and think Im a fool and weird. I can still hang with people, but I can't even hang with them after school. It controls me. I know it's stupid but the thought is so overwhelming. I have one class with him and he sits behind me. We talk a decent amour with this girl and boy that sit next to us. We are in groups of four and he is the only sophomore, me and the other two are freshman. The girl he usually talks to is a sophomore but i can't tell if he likes her or not, it doesn't really seem like he does. He can be kinda mean but you can tell he is just messing around. Homecoming is in like a month and I really want to go with him. He doesn't really seem like the type of guy I usually tend to lean towards but he always makes me laugh, though he can't tell because my back is to him during class. I also have lunch with him but so do almost 500 other students and I can never find him. How can I get him to ask me to homecoming?
