Is Conscience a More Powerful Motivator Than Money, Power, or Fame? People's conscience is an important tool that serves as a guideline for their actions. It distinguishes between the right and the wrong and promotes people to become more conscientious. However, human conscience did not stop Hitler from the genocide of European Jews; similarly, conscience played no part in the once popular reality TV show "The Moment of Truth" where contestants were asked increasingly personal and embarrassing questions as they progressed through the levels. More powerful motivators such as power and money often shroud people's decisions and cloud their judgements. It is common knowledge that Hitler murdered millions of Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and people with disabilities in order to create his perfect Aryan race. Many historians have questioned Hitler's sanity. How can anyone responsible for the mass extermination of so many people show no remorse or shame? The answer is simple: his quest for power had blinded his ethical values. Hitler's desire for total dominance over the rest of the world had become so compelling that the death of millions was a small price to pay. The modern belief that people will do anything for money is perfectly illustrated in "The Moment of Truth." Contestants are asked extremely personal questions in witness of their family and friends while being strapped to the lie detector. Unbelievably, many people actually unveiled their infidelity towards their spouses or their underlying hate towards their best friend. This show demonstrates the power of greed and how easily people are swayed into betraying their better conscience. Conscience is universally presented in every human being. However, so frail is the tiny voice in people's heads that it can be easily overpowered by lesser yet greater motivators such as money or power. More often than not, these motivators are a greater driving force than people's conscience.

sometimes or most of the time when i get up from sitting on the couch or laying in bed my vision goes black then comes back after like 2 or 3 seconds. it scares me because i think ill go blind or something. i told my doctor before and she said its from getting up too fast and something like the blood pressure drops from ur brain n all. something like tht . i also did some research .

My fiancé & I have been trying for a baby for 2 months now with no success. I'm getting really worried because my periods are irregular and I'm still young I can't be infertile . it just scares me that I might not be able to have kids . my dog was given steroids for a skin rash and since coming off them has become withdrawn, she has started staying in the garden for hours on end in the rain (which she normally hates) has gone off her food and if she can't get into the garden will sometimes just sit in the bath. She used to be a happy lively dog and know she is a very subdued dog, i would say 80% of her personality has changed and it is heart breaking to see. please can anyone offer some help? she is a 4 year old Staffordshire bull terrier

Today i am four days late on my period. i also started spotting today, but yesterday i got a negative pt but the day before that i had a positive pt. im a little crampy and the spotting is almost but not as heavy as a regular period. could i be pregnant? what happened? why did i get a positive pt and then negative and start bleeding?

Today i took my horse to my first show, my horse has been to shows many times before and did lots of competitions with his past owners who im still in contact with. we have owned ernie for 2 months now and he has proven unfazable. but today when we took ernie in the horse trailer her traveled really well without any mishaps but on the way home, we loaded him in with another horse and he took a couple of times to get him in in. and we set of but we didn't go far before he started bashing the sides of the borders and stamping his foot, he carried on doing this and every time we went round a slight bend or went faster he would stumble and fall about, we then had to stop for traffic lights. and he kept stumbling and falling about, he wasn't impatient, it was unbalanced, we pulled over and jumped out and his legs were shaking and he was really weak and was trying to lie down, he kept stumbling and bashing about and we rain to get him out of the tight space because if he went down, he might not be able to get back up and his legs would go into the other horses stall, we got him out and he was fine, but his legs were still quaking so i had to walk him home and not risk traveling again, these are the facts > he had diarrhea thought the day (but in his previous home he lived on the moors and had a poor diet) >he traveled perfectly coming towards the show >he had water and food thought the day >it was his first time in a trailer i am really worried, it really frightens me today because i was sure he was going to have to be shot for going down. does any of these sytomms sound familiar to you? he was in full health and had passed a vet check 2 months ago, i am going to call the vet tomorrow if i need to but he is completely back to normal toinight.

I've got enough clips to make a 2-3 minute montage and they are already uploaded on dropbox. I love high boots but my mum is telling me that it's wrong to wear it while whole year. I'd like to wear it in spring and sometimes in summer but she says that normal is to wear it only in winter or at the end of autumn. What do you think? And isn't it stupid to wear it in sprig and summer?

I am not a habitualy smoker. I only do it once in a blue moon. My first time smoking weed & actually getting high from it was June 2010. Then I went a whole entire year without smoking. Then in July 2011 I smoke a little bit of weed but didnt get high from it. A month later around the midle of August 2011 I smoked a couple Black & Milds. Then on August 23 I smoked weed & this time I got tooooo high. I really dont smoke a lit & August 23 was the last time I smoked. I'm 19, 5'2", 124 lbs so aproximately how long will the marijuana stay in my system?
