I bought a used 6 speed Celica, and I'm still getting used to the car. The gears are really close together, and I accidentally started my car in 3rd from completely stopped. I smelled a burning smell right after. How bad is this for my clutch?

i got this cut on my ring finger 4 days, ago, there was alot of blood. but then i put bandages on it, and changed bandages daily, but i havent washed that hand for 4 days because im worried water will do something to the wound? and p.s: the wound is healing, its almost closed up now, and there are still blood marks on it and a few dry blood scabs.

Ok, so im in a jewish youth group in Vermont, and im in 8th grade. the youth group is for high schoolers, but you are introduced towards the end of 8th grade. tonight there was a part of the night when everyone just kinda mingled, but because jews are so social, i feel like all the girls are popular and most of the boys are more social, so all the girls seem to want to talk to the other guys more. I really like some of the girls and i want to talk to them, but i just am SO nervous that after talking to all the popular kids that i'd be weird and also that i would probably stutter and freeze up because i dont really have much to say because im not in their circle at school. Help?

Dear Seventh Grade, I am not sure about a HW. Can anyone help with a question abou the history of the Revolution. My teacher said that we have to right a paragraph, on the events. Dose anyone know any of them. It has to be a paragraph. I'm 16 and the weather is getting warmer meaning summer is almost here and soon my parents will tell me to stop wearing sweaters, but I don't want them to see the scars on my arms and wrists when I wear t-shirts or go swimming cuz I have a pool. Um please don't tell me to stop or anything and also don't tell me to cut on my hips or thighs or w.e. because I already do that, it's just the scars on my arms are older ones and I need to hide those ones. There is a thing such as the Periodic Table of Chemical Elements also referred to simply as the Periodic Table. Take for instance, we discover many other elements in space that we never knew about before. Wouldn't this make the Periodic Table grow even larger? Some people say the chemicals for life on earth came from millions of comets that crashed down in the early days of the earth. -whenever we talk, a few times he would place his hand on my shoulder and slightly rub it -we've hugged (twice) -once I was rambling about something and probably not making sense, he looked at me and touched my nose and said I always keep him guessing. (may mean he thinks im weird and doesn't understand me) -once he asked me for help on his project, he thanked me. I made a suggestion and he just turned to me, looked into my eyes and placed his finger lightly on my upper lip. leaving it there for a few seconds, just staring at each other. -also, 2 weeks ago, me and this guy friend were joking around that we were going out. and one class he didn't show up, so i asked his friend "hey adrian, where's my hubby?" he replied that he didn't know. (my friend got a gf now we don't joke anymore) and then the guy I like put his hand on my shoulder and said I should move on. this act may seem more so comfort rather then like but whats your opinion? -after class the same day, we were walking together, he complimented my outfit. we talked for abit and i mentioned and made a joke about a friend of ours from class. he asked me if i have a thing for him and i said no i just like teasing him and he asked me why. -(after the lip and shoulder and outfit complimenting and ), we walked for a bit and then he had to go to the computer lab. he gave me a hug and told me he had to print stuff out before his class in 15mins. then as stupid as i am, i said. "Oh i can come" then as he was about to walk away he put his arm out and said "i think we need to cut the cord abit." what do you guys make of that?! i mean he was the one making the moves. what does he mean? we also talk and joke around, most of the time we make direct eye contact,. but he doesn't smile alot, he has and does but not often and he can sometimes be douchey

Here's the story. I am in college. I finished a senior design project about 6 months ago and some of my friends were smoking cigars, so I smoked one. This was the first tobacco I ever smoked. It tasted very bad and I didn't like it. Next, no smoking for 3-4 months until I had another project with a guy that smoked. We were routinely up late in the library working on the project and he would step out every so often and smoke. I smoked with him, kind of as an experiment. It still tasted bad and I didn't like it. I did this for about 3 weeks straight, smoking 1-2 cigarettes per night, 5-6 nights per week. Two months later (today) and I have no interest at all in tobacco. I kind of like the smell of it, but I dislike the taste. I have not smoked at all since those three weeks nor do I have any craving for it. I did get a really bad headache after a few days of not smoking, but not an actual 'craving' to smoke. The headache went away after a day and I think it might have been unrelated. So I ask... is it possible some people just can't become addicted to cigarettes? How long does it take one to become addicted? I'm not planning on ever smoking again DISCLAIMER! - I don't recommend anybody try this. Smoking is very bad for your health.

How can I create the piecemaker effect just on flash cs5 (I'm actually using flash cs5.5 but I'm pretty sure it will be the same....) and have no external scrip files? Hello, I need help with two chemistry problems. Were talking about ksp and precipitations right now and I am stuck on these two: 1. --A 65 mL solution of .40 M Al(NO3)3 is mixed with 125 mL of 0.17 M iron (II) nitrate. Solid sodium hydroxide is then added without a change in volume. A) which will precipitate first? B) what is the OH- concentration when the first compound begins to precipitate? 2. --describe how you would dissolve a precipitate in which the anion is not a weak base and therefore will not be dissolved by a strong acid. I think all these new technologies and even the old technologies are great. I also believe that we live on a small planet that has very limited supplies for all of the ever increasing number of people who live on it. To advance as a species we NEED to be active in space, if not eventually we will all die. We can find other planets and make the entire planet (if not habited) the biggest mine in our history. Just one planet should promise us SOOOO much resources. Not only that but we need to find another planet to house more people. This seems very complicated though and very dangerous. There's a really cute girl from my school I have a crush on, and I'm pretty sure she likes me back, there's just a gut feeling. The only thing though, is that we had no classes together, I only saw her in the hallways. We'd make eye contact a lot, and she's smiled at me a few times. One time her and her friend kept turning around and looking at me as I walked down the hallway. Another time, I turned to my side and saw her with like 2 other girls. Our eyes met, then I looked away. Then I heard them giggling. Whenever I'd see her, my heart would start racing, and I'd get extremely nervous. Well, school is over now, so I have no way of seeing her at school anymore. But, I found her on facebook (she was tagged in a friend's picture), and I added her. She accepted, but now, I don't know what to do. I want to try talking to her, but I don't know if I'll look like a creeper or not. The thing though, is that I actually saw her at school in the hallways a lot, so it's not like I'm just some random friend request from someone that she's never seen in her entire life. my ex she is 25 and I we've been broken up for a year now we talk to each other and text. the one day she had her girl who is a friend over and they watched a movie after the movie she text me. Then one night she went to the bar with her girl friends from work and she text me when she was at the bar and if i didn't answer she would text again saying hello. She tells me everything like that her mom and real dad are getting back together and that she hates her mom. well 4months ago her step dad tryed to rape her she got out of there i was the first one she called i picked her up and i was rubbing her back and i was there for her. well 2 weeks after we got in a fight and i said mean stuff like she is just like her mom and that her son is going to hate her how she hates her mom and that she is a s lut. i didn't mean any of it. so its been about 2 months since we talked. the last text she send me was saying i want to be left alone by everyone.I text her alot of times saying sorry i left flowers and cholate at her place with letters telling her how much she means to me and how sorry i really am. I know the girls at work that are her friends havn't heard from her for 3months. She lives on her own and i know for the last 2months she been staying at her grandma and grandpa's she told me that she is on drugs from the dr so im guessing she is depress. i send her a text a while ago and she hasn't said anything. Her aunt and my dad are really good friends well she told my dad that she quit her job and moved out west about 3weeks ago to be with her ex and they are going back out and is going to stay out west for a year. She has a son who is 10 years old and her mom and dad have custody of her son so she can't take him out west with her. so why would she move there for a year without her son for an ex. 1. Do you think she has feeling for me more then friends and maybe loves me? 2. why isn't she talking to me? 3. do you think she still needs me? 4. do you think i just need to give her space? 5. since her aunt said she is going back out with her ex then why didnt she call him first when she almost got raped? 6. why the hell would she move out west and leave her son? 7. how old are you?

This is so hard, I screwed up already and it's only the first day. Tomorrow I don't get to have any of my meals at home either :( I eat 1200ish calories a day and stay low fat. With those calories I like to have lots of veggies, whole grains etc. I'm a vegetarian, so I usually get my protein from beans and soy products. BUT now I'm away. I got taken to the Olive Garden for dinner. I had only consumed 450 calories prior to dinner. I would have had more but food wasn't available. I thought I was being wise by ordering the Cappelini Pomodoro (and only eating half), and having my salad with no extra cheese and dressing on the side and only eating 2 croutons, and limiting myself to one piece of bruschetta. But no, turns out that had 700 calories total. I had to avoid eating any kind of desert tonight. I just had an orange with my tea. Seeing as it was white pasta and white bread, my stomach actually feels awful. I've scoped out the restaraunts now and looked up the menus. Tomorrow I think I can convince everyone to go to Ruby Tuesday's and I can get spaghetti squash. We're supposed to go out for breakfast tomorrow... and lunch. I just need some guidelines as to how to eat. Everything prepared at restaurants is so fatty and bad for you :( It's not so much how bad for my diet it is, it's also how terrible I feel. What do I do?

People suspect he may have a mental illness like PTSD. There is nothing to prove that he is capable of working.........all people have on him is a TV segment showing him going to the store and buying wood. He runs a website. It is unknown whether or not this proves he can work a full-time job, 40 hours a week. The SS determination process is extremely complex. Many disabled people have an unusual lifestyle (or not!) Some people suffer from mental illness like PTSD or depression that comes and goes, and maybe they can do activities only sporadically - but not be stable enough to work. People may be disgusted by this man's choices, but how does that prove he is somehow not disabled? What if he does have a serious mental illness (or physical problem) that is invisible and stops him from holding a full-time job? It just seems like the people who should decide his disability is SS - not the media or layperson. So curious - if he is shown to have a legitimate disability, what will happen? Do you think SS will deny him further benefits because of all the media pressure - even if he really is mentally disabled? What is the connection between being an "infantilist" and being disabled or not? It seems the media is muddying the waters....

I suddenly want to read a new book. I don't know why, but I really want to. I would prefer something in the fantasy section. My favorite book is Peter Pan, and I've also enjoyed Fablehaven, Dreaming Anastasia, and other books I realize as I'm typing this most people don't know about. In the subsections of fantasy, I like Dragons and Fairies more than Vampires and Werewolves. Please don't just recommend somthing really popular.
