I went grocery shopping at Kroger the other day and entered a survey listed on the back of the receipt. I was asked to evaluate the CASHIER in no less than a dozen ways. Cashiers are paid barely over minimum wage yet the corporation has invested an enormous amount of time and money to control them. Contrast this to higher paid or more skilled workers. Imagine if a hospital tried to subject an Anesthesiologist to this level of humiliation and control. He'd drop his scrubs and tell them to go to town. I understand *how* the corporation can do this but I don't understand *why* they do, e.g., they can do it because they are unskilled, desperate workers but I don't understand the benefit to the corporation.

Well i was unfortunately arrested last weekend for Drunk and Disorderly (i know i was in the wrong and iv learnt from what i did) I was handcuffed behind my back by a policeman, my cuffs had a black plastic strip in the middle here is a picture (http://thelynchmobagency.co.uk/Imagespeedcuffs.aspx) so i couldnt move my hands much. On the way to the station i asked the officer in the back of the car with me if he could loosen up my handcuffs a little, because they were digging into my wrist, so the female officer in the back seat with me checked my hands and loosened the cuffs up......and she said the handcuffs are double locked and will not tighten up on me sitting on my hands! I got to the station 45 minutes later and booked into custody, the handcuffs were removed by the policeman and my wrists were red/marked from the handcuffs, the policeman said he had my handcuffs tight because he didnt want me to slip out of them! Anyway........................... what do you think about the cuffs and them being tight? no silly answers please, im feeling really down at the moment :( kayleigh xxx

I'm seventeen years old and I have been going out with my girlfriend for approximately 6 months. I know it doesn't seem like a long time, but we always talked before this even during her last boyfriend. She was going out with this kid and she liked me and I liked her and she kissed me while she was going out with him. Finally she broke up with him and me and her continued to talk, but didn't start to date until a month later. At first everything was amazing. Absolutely amazing. She was always saying "I love you", "I miss you", "Forever", "Always", etc! Then around our 2 months she started to settle down... When I confronted her about this she said her excuse was that this is the real her and that she isn't really affectionate. However, I know for a fact that wasn't the "real" her, because if it is she lured me in. Anyway since then we got into a tons of stupid fights and one HUGE fight. That huge fight resulted in me breaking up with her and ten minutes later I got a text saying "I'm so sorry, don't leave me. I can't be without you. We can get through this. I'll change, I'm so sorry. I love you, etc" Since then everything has been great, until recently she started up again by not showing me any emotions at all. I hate it, because I do nothing but treat this girl like a princess. I do everything for her. I pour my heart out to her every once and a while when she is sleeping and I wake up to a text saying "Good morning". Like what else can I do? There is so much more to this on how she treats me, but I don't know recently she has been so rotten to me. I can't handle it, but I can never ever leave her. I love her so much..... I wish she just stopped treaty me like I'm garbage. I wish she would stop being so rotten and miserable all the time. I wish she would show me she loved me and appreciated me more. I try so ******* hard. I just I don't know. Plus I don't even know what I would do without her. I'm not a crazy psycho boyfriend either. I'm just really concerned at this point. I mean shes my everything. I'm seventeen and I don't know if I am in love, but I can tell you I never felt like this before. I just don't know what else to do. I don't want to be without her. If I have to change I will. If someone can tell me how I can be with her to make her appreciate me more then please help me. As for now I just need some help. Please help me somebody. I'm going **** crazy. :(

I've been at Level 70 for a while now, and I'm somewhat losing interest in the game. I was looking at various Titles, as something to focus on - and realized that quite a few aren't unlocked unless you do Prestige. Since being at Level 70, I've focused on maxing out some of the weaons (i.e,. getting 1,000 kills). I maintained interest in the game at first, by focusing on that. I've already done that with two, and I've got two more at 750+. I've since started playing COD: MW1, and I like it. VERY different, with so many more people playing on the dedicated servers! I've been spending more time playing this, actually, than MW2. So .. I'd like to hear from people that have Prestiged. Do you think it was worth "losing everything," or are you missing your weapons / perks???

I have polycystic ovaries, I am on birth control, &my partner used a condom. My period was due 2-3 days ago & hasn't appeared yet. I had bleeding for three days after having sex but I assume that was from breaking my hymen tho it was more blood than I usually have in a period... We didn't have a condom break & we put it on as soon as possible. Could I be pregnant???? I'm freaking out & really scared

OK so I'm in year 10, we had a practise Spanish exam which will be on our reports for the end of the year, and me and my friends did a question paper off the exam board website together. I get into the exam and thats the paper we get, so I know ALL the answers. So the test is outta 40 and I gave myself 35. I come out of the exam, and all my friends gave off like, 1 or 2 marks, and said I took off way too many. I asked my mum and she said the same [lol]. And now its eating away at me, that I took off those marks for no reasons. I keep on thinking about it!!!!! In a previous listening exam, I got crappy [24 out of 40] so I thought if the mark I give myself is TOO high, it might be obvious that I had already done the paper. So do you think I took off too many marks? Or that 5 marks isn't too bad? Thanks for any replies :)

I had spotting on my underwear and am now continuously bleeding. It all happened after i had sex with my partner. My period isn't due for a while yet. I cannot for the life of me figure this out. I was expected to start my period last month on the 8th, it was late and I started on the 14th. I haven't been on birth control since my last period and I am trying to figure out when I should expect it. I'm normally pretty regular, meaning I start around the same time as I did the month before. So can anyone tell me when I should expect my period if I am on the normal 28 day cycle? Thank you!

ok, first of all, i know there are tons of answers to this question on here, but i'm looking for an answer specified to me, so please just answer my question....anyways, i have this computer, it's pretty old (optiplex gx280) and windows xp professional 2002 operating system and service pack 3. my computer has gotten messed up since i got it and i need help fixing it, i want to do a factory restore to original settings. but i hear u have to have a recovery disk for windows? i know this is true but i don't have one, is there any other way to safely restore it to factory settings without the cd (legally of coarse)? i know the answer is probably to call dell and get a new recovery disk, but i don't want to wait, i want to restore my pc as fast as possible....also another question, whenever i log on, after the splash screen where it says choose something (i can't remember) and it has two choices of windows xp but only one works to log on....what is that? i have more questions but if anyone could help me with just these questions for now it would be greatly appreciated. thanx -Ricky

It doesn't matter how long I don't wash my hair, it eventually gets really puffy once I finally wash it. Even if I didn't wash it for four days and used conditioner with very cold water, my hair gets really frizzy! Why does it do that? When I don't wash my hair it is thick and flat but after I finally wash it, it gets really puffy! How do I stop this besides not washing it?

Whenever I think about it, it keeps holding me down.. i was bullied at school my whole life, my neighbor abused me as a kid, never had friends, never met my dad and my mom became a religious freak, i had tons of chaotic relationships until i got a bf who i loved so much, one year together, who dumped me for someone else two months ago, now she is pregnant..(she is trashy as hell), i was so depressed, ive always felt ugly, however, i did modelling for some time but stopped doing it because i just dont feel good, i am tall 5'11'', blonde hair, blue eyes, thin (im from the netherlands btw) but i just hate myself, i just cant even look in the mirror even if theres nothing wrong with me, i see myself ugly, i hate the way i look, well, i hate myself more than the way i look, and i dont want friends and i never ever talk to anyone or get out of home, what should i do?

My car said i was going to overheat so I just got a coolant change and it still will just randomly shoot over to the max and say that its about to overheat. But it doesn't do any thing i just let off the gas and the gauge goes back to normal. But its so random me and my friends drove for three hours straight at about 80 the whole way drove beautifully the whole way is it just the sensor cause that would be really nice because i just graduated high school 1 week ago =P I drive a 99 Saturn Sw2 1.9L DOHC

I have lost all the baby weight plus an extra 10 pounds, I am the same weight that I was at 17 when I wore a size 2 or 3, however in wearing a 7 or 8.... I've been doing crunches but cant get rid of the belly and lovehandles, it isnt fat at all, it's just loose skin and soooo gross. What can I to to tighten it back up? my stomach is flat under the skin, but i still don't feel comfortable in tight jeans because i still LOOK like i have a fat mid-section. I've heard firming lotion with collagen and elastin helps, is this true? and what workout routines can I do to help? Thanks for any answers! I live at the beach so I want my bikini body back lol!!!

I tell my sims to go to sleep, they even want to go to sleep because their energy is low. I have 3 sims and when all of them get into bed a few seconds later their body is just standing up beside the bed and they get mad and get back in the bed sleep for a few seconds then pop out the bed again. One of my sims even ended up outside on the back patio. Why is it doing this and what should i do to fix it. This all started when i put some new houses in the neighborhood, but they're still living in the same one.

All year in hstory (i'm in a GT program) i've been writing horrible essays and i couldn't understand why. I did what she consistently asked of us but I still only get 4/8!!! My friend told me that I'm a "creative writer" and I (almost) always get 4's on my english papers. I'm really good at flowering things up but my history teacher doesn't want that. i.e When "teaching" us how to write a document based question, she told us not to re-state what's in the document but connect them together . . etc. i did that and got 3/8. When she teaches us how to "write" (which she doesn't do well as supported by a majority of my classmates; the other few just don' t want to talk bad about her) TEACH ME HOW TO WRTE A HISTORY ESSAY! ex: twedyaodwts, dbq's??? is there a website or something.
