I get out of school on the 22nd, and I've probably been absent a little too much. I made up my work and everything, but you know, I don't really want to miss any more. Anyways, I have a big field trip on Thursday, not to mention graduation on next Wednesday. Earlier today, I noticed my throat started to hurt a little when I swallowed. I've felt like this before, and it's usually led to having a stuffy nose and swollen tonsils. I really don't want to get sick! What are some things I can do to prevent getting sick? If I'm already sick, what's the fastest way to make it go away?

okay, i've asked this but i want to make sure. Okay so a guy and a girl were having a little fun. Soon enough we were doing stuff. She had told me to check if i was wet. Meaning to check for precum I checked and i touched it with my fingers. It felt mostly dry. Then again precum might have been left on the finger. So I recently started hooking up with a friend who I am attracted to. Lucky for me, he feels the same way. Just today I realized that we are already moving way too fast. We do know each other, because like I said, we were friends before this happened. But now I feel like we aren't talking as much as we used to and instead we are just interested in making out. I spoke to him about this, and he agreed that we should slow down. We are going on a date this weekend, but I am having a hard time already thinking about slowing things down.. How do you tone down a fast moving relationship?

Im in highschool, smart, musically inclined, and i want to make my future living medicine as a doctor. I have a job that i work full time in the summer and part time in the school year. I want to meet someone smart, kind, and not bad looking. I dont care if he is a bit older than me, but i dont want anyone younger than me. I am a junior... I know I'll be getting a few shots to be up to date but do I have to get blood taken? I also have started my cycle so what will the nurses ask me about that. Will she do a breast exam? My daughter is one of the most kind hearted, sweet girls I've ever known. She has 2 girls in her Girl Scouts that are different races (one is black and the other is from India). She has no interest in talking to them. She also has a boy from India in her class. She said she is uncomfortable with people who look different. I asked her to try to imagine how it would feel if she was in their shoes and she said she would be sad. She is unable to get past that point though... I've been looking online for a book told from a girl's perspective of how it feels to be left out, due to looking different, and I haven't found anything. Please, any suggestions would be helpful. We live in a town that is 95% caucasian and I want to guide her here :) Thank you!! P.S. She read at about a 4th-5th grade level....

People continue to have children even though their life could be an absolute horror, and there are thousands of children needing adopting. Soo, for the last couple of days, I have been REALLY thirsty...I drank a 24 pack in 2 days, and that's just not normal. I've dated five girls. They all end up saying that they just like me as a friend. I've worked on improving some things about myself (like my confidence, appearance, and conversation skills). However, girls still seem to just want to be friends. I think the reason is I basically treat girls like they are just my friend. When I go on dates, I don't complement them.
