Okay so, I was lucky enough to win two a concert tickets to an artist that I really liked (oh na na I think you know her name) literally thanks to God. And then on my ride home I told my dad I am probably going with my friend to the concert. Then he's like: "Why not mom?" And I say "Because mom's not a fan!". Seriously, my mom is not that much of a fan. I'd rather go with a friend who's a fan instead. My dad says "It's not about whether she's a fan or not. It's about getting a concert experience. Me and your mom don't spend money on this because it's expensive, but now that we have an opportunity I think she should come with you." If you knew my mom she talks about how she hates nudity and dirty lyrics. She might like ONE song from the artist. And she is not that likely to get up and dance which a friend of mines would if I chose to take a friend. And to top it off, both my parents were born and raised in India, and came here in their 30s, I don't think they'd even understand the artist's lyrics that well. So tell me, it wrong for me to prefer going to the concert with a friend who's a fan of the artist over my mom?

when i put the reciever in my xbox 360, the light turns green. when i put batteries in the joystick it the light turns red, the turns green. after a few seconds it just turns off. Whats wrong? can it be used on xbox 360?

Thanks for reading! Ok so I recently did my work experience at a Starbucks near me. I'd love to apply for a job there, but being in school means I'd only be able to work after 4 and on weekends, along with the obvious age restrictions set by the government. Do I have much of a chance in getting accepted? Please note that whilst there I was taught how to make all Frappuccinos, some hot drinks (including flat whites! Hehe) and how to do odds and ends around the place, including bussing tables, cleaning pots and the cafe, etc. I think they're looking for people but I'm really not sure of how to go about doing it?

Yesterday when I went to take a shower there's was this light brown stuff on the bottom of the tub. I used some cleaner and scrubbed it off, and it came off really easily. I woke up today to find that it was there again, and there was more than yesterday! Is this stuff a fungus or something? How do I kill it and get rid of it for good?

There always seems to be one week out of the month where I'm scrounging every crack and corner looking for spare change to pay for gas, and I'm thinking of alternative solutions to getting a little extra money (barring a job, I've got that handled already). I've been collecting water bottles for the past few months, as I intend on buying a Brita water filter and using that to refill all the bottles to make it so we no longer need to buy packs of water bottles, but it occured to me that refilling all those bottles may impact the water bill negatively. Then the thought of recycling came up. I have about 113 bottles stored up, and I've heard you can recycle bottles for 5 cents...coming to $5.65, which I don't think is too bad. I went over what groceries we tend to get, and we usually get 2 24 packs of pop and 2 35 packs of bottled water every two weeks, and if I held onto every can or bottle from that, it would leave me with 118 bottles/cans every month. I'm thinking about buying another trash can to use exclusively for this idea, but would it be a good investment? And could I also include pop bottles and 2 liters when I finally recycle it all?

I am getting a bit confused as to all this works with fractions. I am really trying to learn how to find equivalent fractions. I am confused because the method that I am suppose to be learning is telling me to reduce by finding the largest common divisor. Can someone just explain how that works? I just want a simple concert method for finding equivalent fractions. Or can someone please explain how to do it using this kind of method. Frustrating to learn the stuff. =(

I am 33 and my gf 40. We've been together for 3 months. She always complaint that I am rude to her friends, while I believe I am not rude at all. 2 Sundays ago she went crazy again because she thought I was rude to her housemate. On Monday I told her that this is who I am, and although I am trying to change to meet her expectations its not something that will happen overnight. So she has to think if she wants to be with me the way I am or not. On Wednesday when I asked what are we going to do over the weekend she said she doesn't make plans for the weekend. Because she takes time to think what she wants and needs. Hearing that I said fine and arranged to go back to my home town for a week. One week later she is still "thinking". So I tell her that I assume she doesn't want to be with me if she needs to think so much. She gets upset and although I later that day tell her that I didn't want to break up but I thought she did, she goes and has sex the same night with another guy.  I think she pushed it too far. It's really disgusting in my eyes what she did. I told her that it was cheating, but she said it wasn't because I told her that we are breaking up and that it was something that "she needed". So is it cheating or not?
