about 10 years ago my friend and i were in her bedroom (we were both 10) and we were listening to the radio. then this really weird song came on and it was this man and a woman singing and all i can remember is the lyrics something along the line of "hold on 'cause you got friends"...but it was just really weird. anyway...i googled it and everything and i can never find the song...does anyone know what song this might be? and it is not you've got to have friends by bette midler lol.

the question is: 3/4>x+1>1/4 so i subtracted 1 to get the x by its self and got -1/4>x>-3/4 but my book says the answer is -1/4 mean the sides will be shaded?? thank you very very much!!

My ten year old son came home yesterday and said his friends told him about this movie called "To Girls and One Cup". I know this is a very inspirational movie about two girls who are fundraising for schools in Africa, getting people to donate money and put it in their cup, hence the title. I definitely am for helping poor people, but I'm afraid my ten year old son might loose his focus on school after watching it and decide to instead go help raise money for these causes, and then he won't get a good education. Would it be a good idea or not to let him watch it? Thank you!

I have a 7 month old Pit bull. He lives outside and he is an awesome dog. He isn't obnoxious or anything but I notice that when he is alone outside he barks. i know he is supposed to bark once in a while and I don't mind it, but my neighbors do. He usually barks when he hears noises and then he quiets down for a long time. So I know he isn't suffering from separation anxiety or anything. He is calm for a really long time and then all of a sudden he starts barking. I work full time so I don't really know how he is during the day. I am currently working with him on basic commands and he does really good. I just want to know if there is anything I can do to have him ignore whatever is making him bark.

Well my girlfriend just broke up with me recently after she got back from vacation in Korea. I felt that she was the right girl for me, and I am really surprised about the break up. I asked her to be my girlfriend about 3 weeks before she left to go there. Before she left, we spent a lot of time together. I was thinking that her going on this vacation would make our relationship a lot better because we were going to miss each other while she was away. So after a 3 week stay in Korea, she finally came home, but I sensed that something was wrong. She wouldn't reply to any of my texts or phone calls at and then 3 days later she calls me and breaks up with me on the phone. This caught me off guard and I was speechless. She said that she only sees me as a friend and that she 'lost' her feelings for me while she was over there. This totally devastated me, I can't get her off of my mind. I asked her if we could meet up for coffee and talk about what happened but she said no. So I was wondering what went wrong in our relationship? Did I do anything wrong? Is there any way for us to hopefully become a couple again?

Okay so May 31st my friend and I were hanging out at my house relaxing after some graduation prep activities and smoked a bowl. I don't smoke often, it was probably the 3rd time I've ever smoked. And june 21st I took a drug test as part of an interview for a job I rly need. It was the oral swab type test where I help the test stick between my cheek n gums. Since I was in middle school, I've always daydreamed about being the happy, independent, career woman - the strong/stable person who loves her job, takes pride in what she does, and works hard for the money. I would have my own place and take good care of myself, whether I had a boyfriend or not. We all make these plans when we're in high school but it never turns out the way you plan it and instead realize how much more time you need to fulfill these dreams. I'm 24, halfway in nursing school, and still living at home. I'm at this place in my life where I seriously want to get my act together. I've always been a good girl but I'm emotionally and mentally ready (and need) to be that independent career woman. It's frustrating bc I'm still in school. I also took a break from working bc of the hard curriculum and even applying for student nurse positions has been limited. I'm still at home, which is another trip within itself bc my parents haven't cut the cord - they're tough/old school asians and you can't change their mentality. I'm also at a place where I don't want just a "boyfriend"; I want something real, long-lasting and someone who is God-given but I'm sure that has it's own place and time, right? I really just want to be independent for me, and not for some guy. I'll be 25 this year and I'm itching to be out on my own - I give myself a hard time about it bc I feel like I should be this kind person already but I'm not. Anyhoo, I'm just curious - how do guys feel about girls like me, still at home?

My laptop has two display adapters. The Intel HD Graphics and the NVIDIA GeForce 310M. Both appear as enabled (I'm assuming this because in the device manager, I'm given the option to disable both. No option to enable). What will happen if I disable the Intel adapter? Will NVIDIA take over or will my screen go black? The reason I want to do this is because I think Optimus isn't working correctly and it isn't switching over to NVIDIA when I open up a game. So I get pretty crappy performance when playing (I know this card can handle the games I play perfectly, because my mom's laptop has the same card and the rest of our specs are very similar, and if anything mine are better). So I was just wondering if I should disable the the Intel one and hopefully it'll stick to using NVIDIA, or if anyone knows a quick fix. I tried getting into the setup while my computer was booting (I did actually) but I didn't find an option to set graphics cards or anything like that. Thanks in advance guys!
