Ziebach County Farm Service Agency Update-July 6, 2011
July 15, 2011 Crop Reporting Deadline -If you have not already done so, please contact our office to schedule an appointment to complete your 2011 Crop Acreage Report. The final date to complete your acreage report is Friday, July 15th.
July 29, 2011 Final Day to sign up for 2009 SURE - Ziebach County has been approved for a quality adjustment due to low protein levels for Hard Red Winter Wheat and Hard Red Spring Wheat for the 2009 crop year. Quality adjustments may be applied to Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11.99% average protein or less with an adjustment factor of .9851 and Hard Red Spring Wheat with 12.99% average protein or less with an adjustment factor of .8279. Protein levels must be certified by the end of the 2009 SURE program signup which is July 29, 2011.
