i'm dying my hair, but i don't know what color to do. i personally love blonde hair but i'm naturally a brunette and i think it might suit me better. I have been alone for over 5 years, I am not good at talking (shy) just lost my mom a year ago, an now probly gonna lose my nephew, his dad is a jack wagon and is gonna dump him in foster care (he's 10) and I am struggling to get into a dr. to get my zoloft refilled and with out it it's a very hard struggle some times. My dog has fallen asleep against my leg, and he's snoring. When he sleeps he kicks his legs and woofs and mumbles little woofs, it's quiet cute really, but the snoring IS.JUST.SO.LOUD. last night I was perfectly fine. Nothing hurt and it was just a normal night of doing nothing. When I woke up this morning, there is a quick stabbing pain in the lower part of my right eye (under my eyelid) whenever I blink. Does anyone know what this is all about? I really have no clue what it is or what caused it because I havent done anything since last night? It feels like it's more in my eye then around it so I don't think it's an eyelash.

I often hear it stated that sharks can detect a drop of blood from miles away. This doesn't make sense. Wouldn't the drop of blood need to dissolve into solution and its particulates travel to the shark's location before detection? Would this not take an enormous amount of time? Would the bleeder not have ample time to heal or escape etc?

My 91 f150 has two tanks a front and rear. I run off the rear tank regularly because of problems with the front one. However today i decided to test her out on the front one. She started right up when i put it on.. and to my surprise the front tank had a full tank of gas though its probably very old havent used that tank in months... So she started and i drove her around the field out back of my house for a short period of time no problem.. I shut her off go to start her again she cranked but she wouldnt turn over.. My guess is that theres a problem with the fuel injector, because she probably only ran because there was still some gas in the fuel line but once that was gone the injector couldnt pump more gas through the line.. Would a simple fuel injector cleaner bottle work? only thing is thats supposed to be done on an empty tank of gas.. and then filled and i have a full tank.. or is this a more major problem.. also when i turn the ignition on but dont start the car on my rear tank it makes a noise telling me the fuel injector is on or working i guess.. on the front one when i do this i hear nothing

Girl I've known for 5 months. She has contacted me alot throughout and at one time called me everyday for 2 months. We get on REALLY well and work together and we also had a few dates and kissed eachother back then but not now. Sometimes she will lecture me like she is my girlfriend and flirts with me(allows me to put my hands allover her butt) and it appears that there is some kind of feeling there(tears in her eyes when we had a argument) but she has so much pride she won't admit it. We had a few minor arguments recently and it felt like we were a couple. A few weeks ago things were going really well, she was txting me all these kisses and told me "u don't know all the things I will do to you" and how she wanted to kiss my sexy lips. Problem is at work she wants others to feel she doesn't know me, when they ask about us she says nothing is going on. She told me this while acknowleding something between us and saying "if they know they won't put us together" She knows we click but says she was in a 5 years relationshiop before she met me and doesn't feel like she has got over that yet, the thing is...she dates other guys and tells me she even goes over to their house which obviously makes me feel not important. She told me a few guys she gets on with want her to be their girlfriend but she just doesn't have the "time" Everytime I suggest we do something she never looks interested or makes an excuse. Yet when we are together at work, her eyes look so interested and she seems into me. She pulled my arm at work and had this sexual look in her eyes and told me she had something to tell me, time ran out as boss was nearby and when I asked her the next day she said "it doesn't matter" with a twinkle in her eye. To me it feels like she has feelings for me but just won't tell me. I wish I knew why she doesn't want to meet me outside of work. We met with her friends a few weeks ago but we were not alone so it wasn't the same plus she didn't talk to me much. What's going on?

I don't have any friends or family who have cats so when I tell them Lucky communicates they think I'm nuts!! I had Lucky since he was 4 weeks old (He was a rescue found in a garbage bag, someone threw him and his sisters. Hence the name) Anyway, I love him so much and now that he's 4 yrs old I worry about his health constantly. I was once suffering from chickenpox and because I live alone I had to do everything by myself so I fainted and I remember him biting my face and hands and not in an aggressive way, the Vet told me later that he was trying to keep you awake!! So I think we have a special bond *Wishing* Here is how he communicates with me He is crazy about smoked ham and when I come home with shopping I get it out and while tidying up I always notice him mewing in a way that says (That's mine how dare you not give it to me NOW!) Another thing is these grrrrrr (not Purr) noises he makes like when he enters the room or just let me Know he's around Another thing is sometimes I carry him around and he seems to enjoy it and purr but suddenly he wants to get away and bites me in the process!! Hi, everyone. I am going to Grade 12 and I am starting to consider what university I should go. I am an IB student and I am planning to study Biochemistry. I want to go to the faculty of science at Queen's or the biological, biomedical& life sciences group at McGill. McGill has great reputation on its life science programs and it has attracted lots of outstanding students from Canada and from many other countries. Thus, I want to study biochem there. However, Queen's has great school spirit. Most importantly, as an IB students, I will have to finish university in 3 years at McGill due to the advance standing credits I get from IB. Even though that will save me some money, I prefer to have 4 full years to get higher GPAs. So, I want to seek help from IB students that went to universities, which university (Queen's or McGill) would you choose? I also want to ask IB students that have been to McGill, is it difficult to do second year material in your first year at McGill? Is it worth it to graduate in 3 years? I really want to get some helpful advice or info. Helps are greatly appreciated!

I really like this boy in my grade. We're both top of the class, musicians, and athletes. Everyone literally loves him, he's practically a prodigy. But he's very aloof, and it's impossible to tell what he's thinking. He's very shy around girls; he's never really initiated any conversations that I've seen. But I really love his personality the few times he's opened up to me. One of my closest guy friends (who happens to like me :/ ) is his best friend, and we're all in jazz band together. He sometimes asks me if I need help moving the piano, which doesn't seem like a big deal, but seeing as he usually avoids girls, it's something to go off of. I'm louder than him, and more outgoing, but not in the sense that I would make a move. I've texted him a few times, and he always responds and keeps the conversations going. He told me once that he likes talking to me...yet he never initiates anything. What's going on in his mind? How can I at least become friends with him, if nothing else? just had a baby 4 months ago. my struggle is that i am more or less a hermit and and i have a five year old and a baby. we are together alllll the time with no help. 1. bcause if i ask for help i get into trouble and people shun me and two because the people willing to take my kids to watch them i dont trust alot. i find bad things about them that are really dysfunctional that i dont want my kids picking up on. so this leaves me wih my kids. single mom and no time to myself. i run home based businesses and take up evry moment of my time doing something. this has led to irritation factors that are just too much to handle. my physical body has taken a toll as well over this. how can i deal with this? what are some ways to not neglect my children but gt the space i need?

My mom is going to Poland for a visit and she wants to get my godmother and her daughter something, I was thinking about getting them perfume or some kind of beauty products. Thanks so much. :) oh, and my godmother is in her 30's and her daughter is 9 or 10.

[ Other - Family & Relationships ] Open Question : What should I do now? I feel like giving up?

Hi my name is Lauren and I'm 17. I have been living in supported accommodation for about a year now and I am fed up of living in this environment. If you are wondering what supported accom is, it is basically a posh term for a hostel. The reason I am in this is because I have no family support and I only have my grandparents who choose my abusive dad's side. I did stay there for 2 weeks before moving into my first hostel but they told my dad where I was and he went mad. So I packed my things and went because I couldn't take any more of his crap. For a couple of nights that I was completely homeless I slept on the floor of a railway station toilet, which wasn't a nice experience. Anyway, I moved into a hostel, where I got bullied so badly that my door got kicked in and they stole most of my things in front of me, so I moved to another. The other I was living next door to a smackhead, who had random visitors who peed on my door for no reason - pretty nice of them! So my support worker there referred me to this hostel now, which nearly every other girl here bullies me. To go into more detail; I used to be friends with this girl who lives here called Abby but she kept stealing things off me, so I told another girl here about it who told me to go to the staff and that she said that she witnessed Abby stealing from me when she didn't. I became close friends with this girl but now she has told Abby that I told her to say that she witnessed it - even though it was her idea. Kelsey (the 'witness') has also caused lots of other trouble for me, by stealing things off other people and accusing me. I have now had a lot of death threats and people wanting to beat me up, I am currently too scared to even leave my room. I've told staff about everything and about Kelsey and what she's done but they won't listen to me. I can't handle all of this stress anymore, sometimes I just feel like suicide because to be honest nobody would even care if I did kill myself, the only thing that stops me is apparently I have a future ahead of me, I have just been accepted onto a college course for my a levels but I don't even know if its worth going for because I can't sleep or eat properly - nevermind think straight enough for a 2 year course. I have spoken to my doctor three times about my low self esteem, my anxiety and feeling really worthless. Most nights I cry myself to sleep. But he just won't listen. Sometimes I think the only way out of this mess is to have a baby, because atleast I would do a better job than my parents did. Or my sister does - she's always high on weed and you can't bring up a baby stoned. If I had a baby, I would get more money and a stable home, but it would mean throwing away any chance of a decent career. What should I do? Everything feels so useless.
