[ Software ] Open Question : I'm trying to find and ftp client for older Mac. Any ideas?

I am running a G5 Power Mac, OSX 10.4.11 I used to use the FireFTP plugin for FireFox, but since my computer is too old to install newer versions of FireFox, I can't use that plugin anymore. I've surfed a bunch trying to find some program that connects my old computer to the newer internet... but so far I have encountered only problems. Can anyone help? I need an FTP client that works perfectly on an old system like mine. Cheers, R

Okay so today is July 30th and my period is now 6 days late. My last period was on June 26th. My period isn't always neccesarily every 28 days, but I've never been this late before. I had unprotected sex on July 4th, 7th, and 12th. I've had mild cramps here and there every few days but not near as severe as I normally get them before my period. I've had some today but not my typical PMS cramps that I usually get. Usually right before my period I'm really dry, but I keep thinking I got my period but then whenever I go to the bathroom to check, it's just this white watery discharge...and like I said, I'm usually really dry down there before the start of my period. I've taken a home pregnancy test recently and it was negative, but I still haven't gotten my period. I know there's a clear possibility that I could be pregnant, I just need someone else's advice/input. Please help!!!

[ Fish ] Open Question : why is my pond shubunkin fat suddenly and hanging quietly only at the bottom of the pond?

i noticed it got fat in the middle area about a month ago, was fine then. just about 4 days ago, it started to only stay quietly at the bottom of the pond, not swimming around actively like the other 9 pond fish i have. the other fish seem curious with the quiet one, but they are not pestering it. is it about to lay eggs or is it sick? how do i tell what to do?

I use Mozilla Firefox. When I close it, it remains in the Windows Task Manager. Then, when I try to open it next time it will not open until I remove the listing from Task Manager. Sometimes there are three entries in there. Any clues?

I accidentally deleted GTA san andreas. I reinstalled it afterwards but the audio was no longer working for cutscenes and pedestrian sfx. I tried using another set of files that I torrented from piratebay and replaced the old audio folder with this one but it still won't work. How can I fix this?

[ Desktops ] Open Question : Why does my computer hang when using AHCI instead of IDE mode?

I have a Corsair SSD (CMFSSD-128GBG2D) with the latest firmware installed (VBM19C1Q) and it was running wonderful when my sata controller was configured using the IDE option in my BIOS, however my computer does not have an e-SATA port built in so I installed one using one of my SATA ports. After this, everything ran fine, however I would need to reboot my computer in order for my external drive to show up (you cannot hot swap drives in IDE mode), so I decided to switch to AHCI mode and reinstall windows. Since I did that, my computer hangs all the time whenever I try to multitask. CPU utilization is not spiking at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem. I would prefer not to have to switch back to IDE mode. Thanks!

So i'm 16(boy).There is this girl in class i like.She's very smart a bit shy and she's also a bit nerdy.So i'm probably one of the only boys in class that like her all the others hate her but she friends with most of the girls and she doesn't have many guy friends . Last year she was really into me but it didn't work out-we went out 1 time but after that i didn't make any moves and started acting like an idiot and after 2 months she told me she didn't like me.This year she seemed to like me again (i also started 2 like her).7 months ago she was showing clear signs that she liked me but 4 months ago she started to lose interest. During the 10 days holidays i sent her a message telling her i like her and that i want to talk-to her to which she replied-that she didn't feel the same way and that she just wants to be friends also that she knew i liked her.3 months ago we agreed to be only friends in school but after calling her 1 time to ask if she wanted to hang out she stopped answering.At a party for the end of school we all got really drunk.I talked with one of her friends when we(me a friend of mine and her fnd) went for a walk on the street.Her fnd explained to me what exactly i should do.Also it turned out that she doesn't like me and that she has a crush on a boy 2y older than her(from a year and a half).When we talked i told her that i like her as a person and as a girl and that i really care about her, in the end we finally agreed to be fnds and she said that she'll pick up the phone from now on.After that we shacked hands.Now for the question.OK so i asked her when can i call her to see her but she told me she'll be traveling for a month so we agreed that i should call her in the beginning of august(im sure that she really is traveling).But i'm perfectly fine with being just friends.I want to be friends for now and maybe in the future things will develop.Problem is that next year we'll be in different classes.So that happened 4 weeks ago. Now all off that is really blurry and it's hard to remember what was true and not.Now the time has arrived when i call her in monday what should i say (i really miss her and i want to see her in person)? P.S I tried to talk to her on FB chat a week ago but she didn't answer.Also will it be awkward if i comment on her FB posts and stuff

I've been diagnosed with epilepsy about 3 months ago...yet with medication, etc its still not under control. I'm having seizures and episodes daily, and sometimes a few times a day. The seizures in themselves don't seem to be very dangerous if im under 24/7 supervision - which isn't always possible! Because of my illness, i have been - what i believe - unfairly fired from work. Even after bringing in sick notes every week signed by the doctor. Their excuse was that the problem wasn't getting better, but worse!! I'm really down, fed up...i accepted the fact that i have epilepsy...but then being fired, which now mean loosing my flat after i've only just become independent 6 months ago... I've always wanted a golden retreiver, as i know they make wonderful pets and their high intelligence makes it great fun to train them....i wondered if the company and concentration/entertainment of training it would help me through this especially at the moment where things don't seem to be getting anywhere.... Whats your opinions?

I realize that 99% of the guys I date always come back and try and reconnect. When I'm actually with them, I got no attention. Right now, I'm dating a guy and it's the same, I don't get much attention... A guy I use to date called me last night and told me he loves me and thinks I'm beautiful and a goddess. Why is it that they come back a year later and tell me how much they miss me? This happened with more than one guy. More than two guys.... Please tell me what it is! I'm so confused. If a boy wanted your attention alot, flirts alot and stares.. would he fancy you? 10pts for best answer? the boy i fancy always teases me and flirts with me and people say its to get my attention. he mocks me and jokes about with me but smirks afterwards...is it just to get my attention? he playfully punches me on the arm to flirt and i always catch him staring at me in class or anywhere he sees me!...if a boy wants your attention so much and flirts with you and stares at you alot....does he like/fancy you?
