I am trying to lose weight and want to really focus on high calorie- burning exercises, but my knees and back are very weak and get stressed easily. Any workouts that would be less stressful for me, other than swimming?

I've been shopping on Dell laptops, and in particular, the XPS 17 3D. My reasons for this selection are that it has four RAM slots, two drive bays, a 17" monitor, and support for Intel Core i7. These will be quite useful for my needs and wants. For what it's worth, the 3D is not important, it's just necessary for the four RAM slots. In addition, it has an average rating of 4.0-4.5, which is considerably good, in my opinion. Customer reviews also give it a high rating. Lastly, it is under $3K, which is the limit of how much I am willing to pay for a computer. Anyone have opinions on Dell, and specifically the XPS 17 3D, and any recommendations for a different laptop?

i just remooved an hdd from my old pc witch had windows xp home, and tried to install it into my new pc, but it just keeps booting up and saying windows failed to start, and rebooting itself. i have ran out of memory and i need to install this hard drive. help??

Between Suave, TreSemme, Pantene, and Herbal Essences' shampoos & conditioners for color treated hair, which is best at preserving highlights longer? (I have black hair and auburn highlights) Currently, I'm using TreSemme's shampoo & Suave's conditioner because the store didn't have any TreSemme conditioner left. I've read good reviews about Suave and it's so cheap too. Does it really work that good or should I go with another brand?

Currently 3dpo. Had a runny nose a couple of days ago for a few days, slightly sore bbs (especially when I prod them), took a 2 hour nap yesterday and woke up feeling sick to my stomach. Have a slight runny nose at the back of my throat today. Slight nausea but I usually get this. What do you think?

I'm 14, 5'3" and 9stone and a bit. I'm vegetarian and like fruit and vegetables but I just don't know a thing about dieting that would work, and I don't know how many calories I could eat because I barely burn any off. I'm awful at sports and going to the gym or swimming isn't convenient either because there aren't any anywhere near where I live so don't just suggest doing more excersize or running, I hate it. I'll start going for walks all the time and wearing a pedometer to make sure I'm doing enough steps and I'll eat whatever would make me thin... I'm just so sick of being fat, there's not a single thing about my body that I like. I tried eating 300 calories a day back when I was 8stone and managed to lose a bit of weight that way, but more recently I've learnt that I could go into starvation mode if I eat less than half of what my body burns off by itself, and then everything I do eat will be put on as fat. Please, someone, just tell me how many calories I should eat to lose weight, loads of weight, be skinny like all my friends...

I have been casually dating this guy off and on for a while. His dad died last weekend. I text him and said I was sorry for his lost the day he told me. I didn't contact him after that and yesterday he text me and said that he liked how I disappeared when something significant happen in his life and I told him I was just trying to give him his space, my answer didn't seem to please him and he said whatever. Anyway, his dad funeral was today and he just called me and asked if I was coming to his house where his family was. As I'm typing this he just text me and said it would really be nice to see me. Problem is I never met his family and think I will feel awkward. Like I said we are not that serious but I do care for him. Would it look bad if I didn't go?

Have about 4 different kinds of mint plants. Planted them all away from each other, but thinking about grouping them because they like the same conditions. But if I group them together, will they all pollinate and breed with each other, thus, transforming all the different kinds into one hybrid kind eventually? Or, will they all retain their unique properties, like pineapple mint and orange mint and candy mint, etc...

So I am dating a guy back home in Indiana. I am in Kentucky visiting family and can really see how much he doesn't even miss me. I fell at the hospital visiting my sister and when I told him over IM all he said was "Guess that sucks." I was IMing him and a friend of mine. I got offline with just a "talk to you later" to both of them. My friend said "Awww I love you Angel. I see how it is lol. Ttyl." and my boyfriend just said "ttyl babe." He has my number and hasn't called me once since I have been gone, or even since we started going out. I seen him the day he asked me out, but not one time since. I have even caught him lying to me several times. Including that he isn't going to the fair with his ex. I asked if he was and he told me the fair isn't even in town. My friend who had no knowledge of our convo posted a status the next day about how much fun she had at the fair. He also says he is totally over the ex, who he had been broken up with for not even a week when we got together, and they had been engaged for the past two years. I won't be able to see him again for I don't even know how long so leaving him in person will take forever, though I hate doing it via phone or email. And his phone is a text only phone. So should I wait and try to leave him in person, do it via internet or via text? Please help. All advice is appreciated as long as it's not negative.

I just got my permit last week. I was going to wait till I was 18 (I'm 17) so I could just go straight up get my liscence but then I realized I want to be taught. I was going to wait for a little while long till getting it but my mom started to push me into it. So I passed the test and everything, but I don't have anyone to teach me. My dad was suppose to teach me, two weeks ago he said he would when I do get my permit. But now that I actually have it he's been avoiding it. My mom doesn't want me to drive in her car and straight up doesn't want to teach me either. I'm not a bad kid or anything. She taught my sister how to drive so I don't see the problem with teaching me.So I've given up on my parents, is their anywhere I can go for free? Like a program or should I just wait to drive till I"m 18

I have recently purchased a 42" monitor for ps3 tv etc... i have my PS3 hooked up to it through HDMI to HDMI... whenever i play a game (e.g. Call Of Duty or FIFA) its a bit glitchy. I noticed it when I was playing Call Of Duty that it seemed to kind of lag a bit but not really lag (where it seems to jump but not really a big jump, but only noticeable because it constantly does it)... but then I was just playing FIFA not long ago and its really bad and hurts my eyes trying to concentrate where the ball is going. I really need help getting this fixed as I can't play with this happening (i don't think its the monitor because TV works fine).... best description i can think of to describe it is 'jumpy' ANY HELP?!?!?!!?

My dad always makes dinner, and he always wants me to eat when its not that healthy! And when I refuse to eat what he makes, it hurts his feelings and he says it's wasting food! I don't wanna hurt his feelings, or waste food (since they're only 3 of us in the house), so what can I do? Tonight he's making pork chops, and I don't think that's healthy. (Is it? I'm kinda new to this whole thing) So how am I supposed to lose weight when my dad expects me to eat the bad stuff that he makes? I'm 15, by the way and I'm trying to lose about 55 pounds by next August. :/

I'm looking into going camping there. I used to go when I was younger with my parents, but I really can't remember the layout of the place. I know they show movies some nights, so I'm looking for a site near there. I just don't know which loop is close to where they show them. I'm open to any other site suggestions if theres a better area in the park. i change the substrate of the tank to sand i got from a near by park and he started eating some of it now he wont his mealworms he takes bites at them but never gets them into his mouth did the saND make him sick he's pooping some of it out that iv seen or could it be that hes going to shed???? and i also change around the habitat ....iv done this before but he never stoped eating please help me
