hi everyone! i'm going on a 10 day cruise soon and i was wondering if i would get sea sick. i was on a cruise 5 years ago and i didn't get sea sick (and i've never been sea sick in my life going on ferries and what not) but i'm worried now because i will be on my period when i go on the cruise and i heard that menstruating women are more likely to get sea sick!!! blechh! soooo i have no idea what to do. If i take bonine will i have any side effects??? please help!!! :)

We were originally going to hang out all day then see fireworks together but he has a test for work tomorrow! I suggested he study but he wants to study after dinner. :O Of course I cheer him on and say it's okay that he does~ since the work thing is more important (especially because if he doesn't get a job nearby, he may have to move). Kind of sad he prioritized it so that work > me but I probably would've done the same. Is his excuse good enough? He said he would go, but he (25 years old) says that since he still lives with his parents, he doesn't really have full control? Like, his mom would be "iffy" about it if he goes out with a girl friend (not GF, just girl friend. We're not exclusive yet, though we talked about it. Please help with question link above too ^^ ) in the afternoon then go out again the same day. I guess that's a bit weird too X.X

my boyfriend and I have been dating for many yeats since grade school actually young love my first boyfriend we became high school sweethearts and everything off and on through college as well but by all means best friends and lovers these last 11 years we have had our ups and downs but this august makes a year anniversary we been going strong we are now 21 and have lived together about 10 months in our own apartment, he is joining the army soon and my preference is to get married before he goes I desired to marry him all my life he is my fairytale prince but with him leaving for the army if like to insure that we could be together were ever the army takes him for sure , in the past he cheated many times but he really did surprisingly change no cheating since we got back together, another thing that scares me though me ex I dated for a year between him left for the army but never came back for me completely deserted me so this whole thing kinda has me insecure, anyway ive giving him my full support, I do everything as a wife right now I mostly pay most the bills cuz I have a way better.job than him he works two jobs and trys to do his part but it really dosnt cut it that's why he's going in the army to support us, honestly I specifically put this idea in his head cuz I know much about it being quick a military brat, he is really excited about it he dosnt come from.much ,he knows I wanna get married he occasionally mentions it when we argue, Ibut he gives me excuses he tryna sort out the army thing, paperwork, can't afford a ring , etc but he's been trying to get me pregnant I told him I want to be married before I have a baby he' trys to assure me we wiil be but I don't understand what he's waiting for .... I don't want to rush it or want to do it by default but I think now is a good time, am I pressing too hard what should I do

Can I get a Christian's perspective here? Genesis Chapter 1 1:2 Day 1 "Earth was formless and desolate" If no form (formless), then there is no shape "There was water everywhere and darkness" God creates night and day 1: 6-7 Day 2 Dome is created, which divides water and keep it in 2 separate places If there are two separate places, what are the 2 places specifically? 1 place would be the ocean, but what is the second place? The sky? That makes no sense for the second place to be the sky, because the sky is not full of water per se. What if we say the dome is gravity? The atmosphere? But then again, if there is a sky, isn't the sky the atmosphere: they are not separate entities, but rather, the same area. 1:9 Day 3 "let the water below the sky come together in one place, so the land will appear" Land is named earth The water is named sea So the water is to come together so that the land will appear: this makes it seem like the land was already there and the water was merely covering it from view. If the land is already there: earth is technically then not shapeless, like it says in genesis 1:2, and it is technically not void. Also, if the water has to come together so land will appear, for this to occur: --either water level has to decrease --land thickness decreases --or when the water comes together, it just allows for land to appear. Then this would mean that the sea was initially not as deep as it is today, because water pulling together to allow land to appear would mean that the sea would have to go down deeper, because the water isn't leaving the earth. Liquids conform to the shape of their container: this would mean that the land would have to be the main force behind the drawing together of the water. Then this would mean that the land level or thickness would have to increase and wrap around the water to differentiate sea and land? Or, the water could shift below the land, maybe create a sort of buoyant force that propels the land upward? But that would mean that there would need to be a trench of sorts so that the water could be able to seep under the land to propel it upward. There would be water both below and under the land. Hmmmm……..water both below and under the land……..reminiscent of that dome talked about earlier: water above and below…..?? Plants are created on this day. If plants are being created, there is going to be photosynthesis taking place, which means the atmosphere will be changing…. 1:14-19  Day 4 Ok, this is strange: here, God commands that lights appear in the sky to separate day from night… Uh, but wait: I thought God created day and night on day 1? How can this be then that He is now creating the lights, which presumably are the sun and moon and stars, as evidenced by verses 16: "God made the two larger lights, the sun to rule over the day and the moon to rule over the night; he also made the stars…" Ok, so God is finally making the sun and moon and stars on the fourth day. This makes no sense is oyu look at previous days: first of all, there would be no previous days, since a day is the earth rotating around the sun, and if sun being created on 4th day… Also, then what the heck was God saying in day 1 : "let there be light?" what light??? Light from bioluminescent martians? Interesting line: …"they [the sun moon stars] will shine in the sky…" The sky, then, contains the sun, moon, and stars Odd, then, that the dome is previous day is called "sky". This is strange because the s,m,s are in outer space, not in the sky of earth. But……could, then, the dome, i.e the sky, really mean outer space? If so, the water below the dome (outer space) is on earth, but then that would mean the the water above the dome is in outer space. Is there water in outer space??? Also, if the sun is finally being created, how were plants created on day 3? Plants need sun to survive… unless it's just seeds, and the soul was enough? But…………if this is all occurring day by day, would the land contain enough nutrients for the seeds to grow properly? Unless you go by the idea that a day in the Bible could be millions on yr instead of a literal day……….. 1:20-23  Day 5 Ok at least the first aspect makes sense: birds and sea animals are created. Well, at least there are plants for the birds to eat; this much seems to be in logical order. 1:24-25  Day 6 Land creatures are created (ha! I just realized that creature comes from create…just saying…yes, I'm slow.) Humans are created. Interesting, though, I feel that more than just 2 humans have been created on day 6… This is how the universe is created. Interesting that nothing is said about the other planets… Hmmm…….this makes me wonder then if the Bible is not true: perhaps those who wrote it didn't realize that there were other celestial bodies besides the s,m,s,earth, and therefore, did not include them in the Bible. Perhaps the Bible is a mythological story?

I'm 22 and I met this guy online and we talked for a number of months and he seemed like a really nice guy. We found out we even went to the same college. We talked about a bunch of different things, but mostly sex/hooking up. I knew he wasn't interested in anything more than hooking-up and I was okay with it and I was actually looking forward to it. I knew exactly what I was getting myself into and I wasn't expecting anything more out of the situation. So we finally planned on a day to meet and the original plan was to spend the night together. It was a little awkward at first because we'd never met and it's completely different talking to someone online v.s in person. We talked a little bit, but we were both kind of shy. Then he kissed me and we ended up doing pretty much everything, but sex. He seemed to be really into it and enjoying it all. After, we talked a little more and then randomly he said he felt uncomfortable and wanted to leave because it wasn't how he expected, but it "wasn't me." In my head I was thinking he was lying to me, but I didn't say anything and I acted nice and like it wasn't a big deal, but he just made everything SO awkward. I'm usually a pretty outgoing person and I honestly didn't know what to say to him after that. I don't know what happened though? I mean we both knew it was only about hooking up and nothing else and I just don't understand why he randomly just decided he didn't want it anymore. He also blocked me on facebook a couple days later. I really don't know what I did wrong or what I said. I honestly thought things were going okay, until he said he wanted to leave. I just don't get it. I know some guys get freaked out cause they feel the girl may be looking for something more than what they're looking for, but that wasn't the case at all and we weren't drinking or drunk. I'm not stupid or naive, but I've hooked up with guys in the past and I've NEVER had anything like this happen before. So maybe, I'm missing something, maybe the explanation is clear as day and I'm just blind-sided and don't see it. I'll get over it and I'm not going to let it bother me for a long time, but I was just looking for some people's outside opinions about why he just hates me now and if maybe anyone else has had a similar experience?

So me and this girl (Im a girl too) Told each other we liked each other but neither one of us has looked at a girl the way we look at each other.Well long story short we would be together if she wasn't already dating this guy so she said. I'm fairly critical with movies, and sometimes there are movies like Sucker Punch and Battle: Los Angeles that I know are not good films at all that I choose to watch anyway just because of the very simplistic entertainment value. Sucker Punch is a different situation though. I tried watching it, but I found it to be a bit slow. I thought that the part with the samurai demons used too much slow motion effect. I really want to watch the rest of it, but is the rest of the action in it as slow as the samurai scene?

I am very short, only 4'11. I have a large chest, and a bit of a butt, however, I have no curves to my hips. I am really straight up and down. I have really muscular legs and arms, I am a size 1 or 3 depending on where I buy my clothes, and weigh 120...but my doctor tells me that I should think about losing a bit of weigh because my waist is disproportional to the rest of my body. ( I have a 27 inch waist with 34 inch hips) I mean, I am definitely not the thinnest person around, but is that considered chunky?

My son is in a baseball tournament next month 3 hours away from home. We would go on a Friday and come home Sunday. I was looking up hotels for the area (Erie, PA) and it seems about every hotel is quoting approx $100/night. We would have at least 10 families going so we would probably get a group rate, but I'm not sure how much cheaper it is compared to normal pricing? [ Other - Sports ] Open Question : Wrestling, Basketball, or Swimming for admission for the U.S. Naval Academy?

I have a choice for one of these sports next year. Between these three, which would the U.S. Naval Academy rather see excellence in? Also, please explain why you think one would be preferred over the others. Wrestling looks like a good option, as it would build overall strength, endurance, warrior spirit, and mental toughness, but it seems to be based on individuals, rather than team achievement. Basketball looks like a good option, as it based around teamwork, so there is more room for leadership, and would build endurance and overall team achievement. Also, basketball is the only sport that I have actually been on a school team (although it was only for a Catholic school middle school team). Swimming looks like a good option, as after all, it is the Navy, and it would work the whole body. The only problem with these sports is that I lack experience, and it would be hard to go from where I am now to compete against other schools, let alone people in my own school. Thank you.

I am madly in "like" with this guy. But I just found out that a girl who he has or had a huge crush on is now in all of his classes? I am too. She denied him and doesn't feel the same way so I don't really have to worry about that. But now I feel I have competition? What should I do to get his attention away from her and to me? Please dot leave hate comments or comments that won't be useful.

I was given a leopard gecko by my sister because she could not take it with her to her new home. I have been unable to purchase a new heat lamp, and all I have to produce heat is a heat rock left over from another animal's tank that was given away. I have read that its risky to use one of these. I would like to know if he/she would be fine in a house that is kept at generally 75 degrees Fahrenheit? He seems to be doing good so far, but I can't trust my judgment right now because this is my first time taking care of such a fragile creature, lol. Also, his tank is getting quite dirty now and I would like to dump out the sand. Is newspaper safe to use instead?

okay, well when mcafee did that little pop up thingy it said "skype wants to enter your computer, "ALLOW ALWAYS" "ALLOW ONCE" "BLOCK". and i clicked block, but i want it back. and it said something aboout your mcafee is going to expire in 11 days, and you must subscribe to keep your comp safe, well what do i do?
