Hi everyone - I am 27 years old. I have several years of work history in state government and as IT professional. I have an Associate of Arts degree, a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice, and an Associates of Applied Science degree in computer networking. Due to being laid off earlier this year I have moved back in with my parents and am working on a masters degree full time. Right now ALL I want for a job is a simple *part time* job just for extra money on the side as a cashier, stocker, etc at Wal-Mart/Target or other retailer. The problem is I have not been getting ANY calls for interviews over the last 3 months. I am wondering what I am doing wrong? I have not included ANY of my work history for the state or in IT. So basically my work history is totally blank on my applications. I figured if I put down that history they will pass me over right away. For education on my applications ALL I have listed is high school and my Associate of Arts degree. I am wondering if maybe the reason I am not getting calls for interviews is due to the fact I am listing my Associate of Arts degree on my applications? Should I drop that degree from my applications and just list high school, or will leaving the degree on help me get an interview?

I am about to buy a 2008 Yamaha Vino 125cc scooter. I don't know much about scooters/motorcycles, but the person selling it just informed me that the scooter has been stalling lately and that it may need a tune up or a carburetor cleanup. About how much would this carburetor cleanup would cost me? Anyone has any idea as to how much I should pay for the scooter? It has 1000 miles and the guy wants $1600, but I'm offering $1100, is my price reasonable? How high should I go? Could the stalling be caused by something else that may cost more to repair? How could I know? Any hints, advice, or suggestions? Thanks!

I know that I am not well enough to be in a relationship with another person. I have some personal issues that I am open on working on, and willing to work on, have been working on for years now. But I can't help but notice that within this time, there are many opportunities that have risen in which a relationship could spur into. Especially recently. I have gone out on dates but, I don't want anything to come out of it. I suppose it is just to practice and feed my own curiosity, considering my severe trust issues in regards to not just people, but men and intimacy. I feel that me even agreeing on going on a friendly date could give them the impression that I am interested. I suppose I am, in some way, but I know that I cannot give my entire being into them as people and relationships, as I have things I am working on that is of personal matter. But it seems the more I refrain from relationships etc and dread the idea of a guy capturing my interest, the more it seems to happen. Guess my question is, this make me selfish? I am still quite young - 19 - and I hear it from family, "You are young and beautiful, you need to date more before you get older and don't have time" etc. Just that pressure I constantly hear, and with people around me in relationships. I feel like the odd one out. And what makes this challenging of all, is that I am superiorly content with being alone and not in a relationship. Am I being selfish?

Okay. I plan to eat 1200 calories a day (i actually already do that) but I am going to add exercise. I plan to do the 30 day shred video. My BMR is 1611. I am sedentary. :] How long will it take to lose 43 lbs?

Perhaps I've been reading way too many internet articles of "Is he the right one?" stories and signs that it makes me think too much and compare myself to others. But I've been seeing my guy for 5 months now. 1. Sometimes we'll talk on the phone and 2 hours go by and we don't even realize. But then again there are times when conversation runs dry... 2. I hear you're supposed to be comfortable around that person if they're right for you. The other day my stool felt like ti was stuck and it wouldn't come out. I took a stool softener and it came out. Today I have the same problem I pooped a little bit but this one poop feels stuck. I don't have a way to the store I already took another stool softener and I'm drinking water. I know this is gross but I put on some gloves and tried to push some pieces out and that didn't work. I have this somewhat dark shadow on my upper lip. Its not THAT noticeable but it really bothers me. Its not hair. I used to use facial hair bleachers on my upper lip because i though it was the hair but its not, after i bleached my upper lips theres somewhat dark shodow, its darker than my skin colour ..help ..why i have this shadow ? Is there any home remedies or creams to remove it ? Thanks.

im 15 years old, 124 pounds and 5'5.. i eat about 1300-1400 because i want to go down to 120- 118 pounds. i try to run 2-3 times a week for about 30 and walk my dog 1 day to 2 days a week. how many calories should i be eating if i want to lose weight, how many should i be eating if i want to maintain? thanks!

My current vcard (nVidia 9500GT 1GB) is racking up a lot of heat (95 degrees C) when I'm simply playing TF2. What's more, its lowest (idle) temperature is only at 58 degrees. This is without any cooling systems, no liquid nitrogen, no anything. Just the built in fan, while I keep my case open. The room I am in is cold as hell, so I'm assuming it has nothing to do with room temperature. My vcard is 2 years old at most. I just checked the temperature right now for the first time and saw it was racking up like mad. I'm assuming the best card brand out there for temperature is ATI, and if it is, does it necessarily mean the better (and more expensive) the card is, the better? Or is there different types of the card have better cooling systems than others? (like Radeon is different from Fire Pro, et cetera) I don't need any tips for cooling (I know someone that does right now) since I probably wouldn't start doing so since I'm not the man that overclocks and stuff. I'll only do so when there is a dire need.

I know it's a very important skill to have, and, for some reason, my horse seems to never have been taught how to do it. Right now I just take a treat, put it to her shoulder, put my hand on her withers, and make her hold it for a couple of seconds. I've been doing it for a while, and she easily recognizes it and responds, as I kind of tickle her shoulder to get her attention. But I can't seem to get her to do it while riding. She always tries to turn, even though I'm not giving her any other directions. I put my hand on the pommel and move out one of my hands, but she always just moves her front end. Any ideas? Thanks.
