[ Higher Education (University +) ] Open Question : Double major then stay to get a MA in one of the degrees? Ohio State Uni.?

Okay, I want to get a Degree in Art Education, but that is a hard field to go into (especially a job in a H.S.). Most schools keep an Art Teacher for 10 years to for ever until the teacher retires. Sooo I thought about double majoring to help me out if I would not be able to find a teaching Job when I came out. I thought about getting a degree in Fine Arts; a lot of the same classes and the similar things to learn. Could I double major and get a BA in Fine Arts & Art Education, but then stay in school to get a MA in Art Education? A MA in that field is a + , more pay, more consideration and more versatile.

Nothing girly or anything. Ew. No make up except maybe eyeliner but only if he's cool with that. It's just that I have this friend... And I want to see how he'd look as a goth, punk, emo, or scene kid. I want to take him to Hot Topic or something, buy him some new attire, and see how he looks in it. I would even pay for everything. Ok, so I've read all these answers about the relationship we're supposed to have but in my case it is the opposite. I'm the female virgo and I'm the one who likes to spice things up, like for example role playing and more. However, he feels extremely embarrassed and once when I tried something under the table, we got into a fight later. I'm not aggressive at all and if he says he doesn't like something I end it immediately. Still, I'm starting to get bored, even though I like the guy a lot. This guy & I met on fb (he's safe, a lot of my friends know him personally). He seemed interested at first but I messed up a lot b/c I would overreact about pointless stuff like him talking to other girls so he lost interest. I also was scared he was using me so I went & talked to his friends, asking them questions about him, which embarrassed him. The worst of all, I told him I would have sex w/ him to see if I was being used but then I took it back so he thought of me as a tease I guess. When I kept messing up, he kept giving me numerous chances but I just kept messing up again. Anyway, we were supposed to meet for our 1st date but he cancelled the day b4 saying he had to work. When I called him about it, he said how he led me on this whole time & never liked me. I know this can't possibly be true b/c u wouldn't tlk to someone for 2 months that u don't like even a little. His sis was in the background telling him what to say & I said how I just wanted to start fresh. He suggested we take 2 months apart & try again. I removed him as a friend on fb & sent him a long detailed message of everything that went wrong in the relationship along w/ the song "It's alright, ok" by Ashley Tisdale. After like 2 weeks of no contact w/ him, I showed up at his work. He works at a cafe/bookstore as a barista & he works for his parents. So I went & ordered a smoothie & waited till he got off (it was only an hr till) b/c there were so many people working & it was pretty busy. So I just kinda looked around for an hr & I noticed after he got off, he was cleaning tables so I walked up to him & we both said hey at the same time. He said, "what are u doing here?" (it was flirty, not rude) a couple secs b4 I said, "I'm Paige" & I didn't have time to react so I just said "I'm Paige" & he said "I know." I said how I came for the strawberry smoothie & how I heard they are the best in town. He was like "oh I'm sure that's the only reason u came." I was like oh definitely & I asked what gave it away – my curly hair? He was like "I could just tell & u kept staring at me, which didn't help." I was like "sorry, I was trying not to, but I couldn't help it." He said something like "must be these good looks (he's not conceited, he has low self esteem, girls don't notice him)." I said "true" & I was just kinda walking & talking w/ him while he was cleaning tables & he said "you're just kinda following me. stalker." I said "I'm not a stalker." He said, "Idk about that." The thing is the whole conversation was super flirty. He wasn't mean at all. So anyway, he asked "so what's up?" I said how I felt really bad about what happened. He said how I shouldn't feel bad & how he was a jerk. I said, "yeah, well I didn't exactly help make the situation better." I asked if we can just start over & he said Idk at first but then he said we can try. He said, "But I can't promise a relationship." I kinda paused & he asked if that was ok. I said yes. We are going to different colleges freshman yr. He is going to a college like 3 hours away & participating in a program there & then he is switching over to my college for the last 3 years so that might be why he said this or it could be b/c I messed up so much b4 & we would argue a lot. We argued so much & we weren't even dating so maybe he thought it would be worse if we started dating. He even said arguing was normal for us a previous time - not at his work. Anyway, we just kinda stood there facing each other for a min & then he bumped into me playfully & said "get out of here" like really flirty. I was like "alright. it's nice to finally meet u." He was like "yes finally." So I said see ya & he said see ya & yeah that was it. I noticed he was smiling a lot like 1 of the main things I noticed was how white & perfect his teeth were b/c he kept smiling. I was smiling/blushing the whole way home. I've never felt this way about any guy b4. In this whole conversation, he wasn't rude at all. He was very polite & the things he said sounded flirty to me. I guess I could have intrepreted it all wrong b/c now here's what happened. He didn't send me a friend request. I didn't block him when I sent him that message b4, I just removed him as a friend. I went to his work Sun & added him on Mon & he accepted. I noticed a status he wrote, "getting back something u lost, amazing feeling isnt it? especially when it was a great refound friendship" He posted this the day I went to his work at 11 PM. Idk if it was about me though. He didn't say anything to me though & he usually starts the convos. He posted a status yest saying, "well, I'd love to say goodbye to my friends b4 I leave for college, but it seems like some of u just dont want to... thanks..." I posted a comment that says "would love to hang" He deleted it. I started a chat w/ him & said, "hey, what's the problem?" no response. I put "?" no response. I then put, "why did u delete my comment?" no response. He was active on fb. Then I wrote, "do u not want to tlk to me? if not, tell me" He said, "not now" I said, "ok can u just tell me did I do something wrong?" He said no. I said, "ok just let me know when u want to talk then" No response. He could never want to tlk! I'm just so confused right now!! He seemed interested b4. Do u know what's happening or what I'm doing wrong? Wouldn't he have just told me to get out of his work if he didn't want anything to do w/ me & not accept the friend request? What's going on? Does he not want me to fall for him when he's about to go away to college? But I would think he would still want to tlk to me though. I am wondering if maybe his sis is controlling his thinking like she did b4 & telling him not to tlk to me. I'm just so confused & it's really stressing me out! I know u will probably say just forg forget this guy & I don't blame u but asking a teenage girl to forget a guy & move on is like asking the impossible plus I really like him so besides moving on, do u have any suggestions as to what I should do & what is going on? Am I becoming racist? Everywhere I turn there are Hispanics who don't play by the same rules I was taught; right now across the creek this guy is playing his salsa drum beat loud- like LOUD, like he does every single night of the week until nine o'clock, prob'ly hoping someday to hit the big time and make enough money to exploit illegal aliens, which is very common here in Cali. I work in construction and see it all the time. It seems like all the "good" Mexicans protect the bad ones: it's almost like I have made friends with some Hispanics, and since my parents came from Italy it is not too hard to communicate; but still, I feel we are not getting the cream of the crop here in California- unless the crop is that retarded. Plus the fact that the government of CA fears the Mexican population, which is a majority now in this state. I'm really confused: I don't want to be a hater, but I too deserve to live according to my heritage- which is not Mexican. Give me some advice, even if it's harsh...

...im really liking this boy. and he really likes me and my dad is way too strict..but all i want is to b with the boy i really like..i mean we've been through so much together and i dont want to just give it away...it would hurt my life so much...i would've went through everything for nuthing.....he was introduced to my father...and it wasnt as serious at first...we was helping for studying...doin projects together....he was just a regular boy that my dad was introduced to...and his father and my father r really close from the past...and yet me and the boy have soo much in common...and the more we bond the more in common stuff we find out about each other...he just grew on me...i started really liking him and he really started liking me...and we would do anything just to b together...but my dad couldnt know about it...or i would have hell to pay..he said it his self....but yet...hes been find out everything without me telling him..it was just too intense then everytime he would tell me to stay away i would start crying...i got too attached to the boy i can't let him go...and he told me himself that i was the one he wanted but he wants to gain my fathers trust before he asks me out..but hes so afraid of my dad...ive been calling him on cellphones that wasnt mine...b/c i dont have a phone personally...i would say i love him but everyone else would say its onli lust...but i cant let him go!!..... Ive been going to the library to c him.. talking to him online.. calling him.. going skating walking to stores with him.. seein him in parks.....comunity center..just to have personal time...Sex is not the problem at all im not going to do that until marrige i promised myself..and i even told him that because he knows thats all my dad thinks of him and he tld me hes not like that...but ive been always thinking on how much easier life would have been if i didnt have to hide it from my dad......and so has he...my dad was the only thing on his mind..hes just afraid to tell him...on a friday night i planned to go skating with him onli us.....and we did it was a fun night..but he had to lie to his friends and tell him he wasnt gonna go just so he can b with me personally....i really had fun with him i we held hands..he held me by my waist..lik a date..and at the end was dancing ....i felt that my dad was gonna come early....and the boy i really liked saw on my face that he was....and he did.15MINS EARLY..and when i saw him...i jetted acrossed the skatin floor to people i also knew...tried to blend in...then i looked to where he was he was just standin there....then i looked again and he was gone....then my dad stared at me while i was tryin to blend in with other people lookin for my date..and my dad wen into the mes room the my heart dropped b/c i knew he was in there... so when my dad came out....i was lik *sigh* in relief....but then i saw my date come out towards my dads back then he saw my dads hair and ran back to the bathroom...so when i saw that i was laughin even thoe it was serious..so then wen the song is close to over i c my dates dad come in and im lik oh shidd his dad and my dad uh oh..i wanted to go in the mens room to tell my date that our dads r here...then i run to my locker get my stuff start walkin then my dad calls me to him and my dates dad is starin at me and my dad asks" so wats up with your son sneakin up with my daughter" then his dad is lik" idk wats up with your daughter sneakin up with your son" i froze in death then my dad wanted me to say sumthin..i was speechless then i left waited for my date to come out so i can tell him wats goin on...so he came outand i told him then i said..what if i cant c u again and i made a frown..while i was putting my sneakers on and getting my skates...and my dad was talking to my date saying howif u really cared about my daughter u would've came to me first and introduced yourself..correctly...and to gain my respect....my daughter has already lost it....and in order for u to c her again u and her have to gain it... now if u wanted to take her to prom how would you ask me if i wouldnt know if i can trust you or not.....and if your dad says he couldnt trust you wat makes u think i can trust you either.... ive found out everything without even trying i even picked up a phone call when you guys were talking and u slip..i found out everything on how you wanted to b her bf..we went home and i didnt talk to my dad for the whole night....what should i do to gain his trust back so i can see the one i love again?

ok i know you can get in trouble for making hate groups and hate crimes towards people but i was wondering what would happen if i made hate crimes towards....a place.....such as a state? Im currently living in Virginia and hate the hell out of it and and want it to burn down cause its just boring as hell.....speaking of hell i'd rather be there then Virginia. I cant move out of it cause im 15 but i swear im contemplating suicide just cause i hate this place so much. My guy friend always makes weird jokes, like we were on the phone and he was saying we had sweatpants on, then he said, "you wish you were these sweatpants!" And he was teasing me (not in a mean way), so I said jokingly, "I'll take you down!" and he said, "you want to take me down in more than one way" None of my other friends make jokes like these, so what does it mean? OK, we are in the process of renovating our kitchen. We are painting the walls a tan/light khaki color and having a "coffee/cafe" theme, with burgundy accents. My cabinets right now are white and my counter tops are PINK. Yes, I said PINK. We are getting the Granite paint from Home Depot (helluva lot cheaper!) to paint over the pink counters. We are using a "sandstone" colored tile. Now, I am stuck on the cabinets. I do not know what color I should use. My knobs are black, but I can change those without a problem. Can anyone help?

When I move out I would like to get a dog, but when I move out my Cockatiel and Green Cheek Conure will come with me. I was wondering how hard it is to keep birds with a dog safely. I know they can't be together unsupervised. Would I have to keep the dog out of the room when the birds are out and the birds in their cages when the dog is with me? If that was the case, I'd devise a schedule so each animal gets enough attention. Also I know it depends on the individual dog. A dog that lives with birds should have a low prey drive and be well trained. Is it better to get a puppy that will be raised with the birds? I'd honestly prefer to adopt an adult, but to keep my birds safe, I'd get a puppy. I have an interest in the herding group. My favorite breed is the Border collie, but they have high drive and herding instinct. So What breed is calmer, lower prey drive and more likely not to go after a bird? I was thinking a pet quality Rough or Smooth collie. Also do you think birds and dogs can live in the same house safely? I don't want *any* of my birds to be hurt because of a dog. If it couldn't work with my house, I wouldn't get a dog. So does anyone here have birds and dogs? Share your expertise. Also what breed would be good around a bird?

This past week I noticed that I haven't been getting that "I'm full", feeling I always get after I eat. I haven't changed my eating habbits either, I'm 17 (turning 18 in two months) years old so I'm also sure it's not puberty or anything relating to that. Yesterday my family and I went out to eat, I usually can't eat much at restaurants because the fatty foods just fill me up to quickly. So I usually just eat a small dish and that usually does it. I ordered a small soup and it did nothing, so I ate some chips and a salad I also ate some cake for dessert but I never got full. I drank soda, but since water is supposed to fill one up quicker I drank a couple of cups but still nothing. What could be wrong?

I've had 7/16" stretched lobes for about a month and a half, and I had a large gap between the jewelry and my lobe for a while... I was wondering if it's a bad idea to dead stretch to 1/2" because I already have the (single flare) jewelry and some jojoba oil for lube in case, but i really think I can make it, with extra room to spare, considering I have trouble keeping my 7/16" double flares in, lol. What do you think?
