[ Religion & Spirituality ] Open Question : Is evolution picked on because it smokescreens the other many sciences that question religion?

Geology, forensics, genetics, astronomy, probably many more too. All respected sciences that any religious person would be quite happy to rely on if they were ill, if they were building a new building, if a member of their family was murdered, if they were told that an asteroid was on a collision course with Earth, etc. etc. So why is the relatively new, and largely unexplored, evolution theory picked out all the time? And would that change if the science was developed in a way that we could all see benefit from? If evolution was thrown out of the window tomorrow, that doesn't = religion is true. You do realise that don't you?

I'am currently looking at two universities De La Salle University Health Sciences Institute and The University of Santo Thomas. If ever I pass their entrance exams, I'm interested to know which of these two universities has the best quality of education in medical courses. But I'm also open to other suggestions such as The University of the Philippines Manila, Manila Doctors College, etc. I would appreciate a kind answer. :)

Don't they believe in us 'all being in this together'? £1.4 billion is a pretty massive contract, even by today's standards. 1500 jobs to go from Derby train-makers Bombardier, and countless more jobs to go that support the Derby based company. Don't they look at the social implications before signing these contracts, and the amount of benefits we will now have to pay out to unemployed people? Also, Ian Duncan-Smurf only last week was whingeing about UK companies giving jobs to foreign people instead of English people. Yet here we are, days later, the same govt offering jobs to Germans instead of our own. Your thoughts? Do you care?

I try to apply for jobs on the fish4jobs website and on certain jobs which say apply now, when I fill out my details and click apply it says javascript void and won't let me apply. Does anyone know how to stop this? I have updated to the latest version of firefox twice now and it still don't work. I have e-mailed the people in charge of the website and they can't seem to fix it.

When I was 13 years old, i was singing songs with high notes. But eventually, I got severe cough and colds. And my voice got even deeper. I can't manage to sing high notes. From tenor, I became a bass singer. I, and my friends also notice that I sing through my nose which is different when I was 13. I sang from my diaphragm. My music teacher told me,"you are nasal." He taught me many times but I can't get it. please help me to restore my singing style, the one that i sang from my diaphragm. does my problem has a connection with my colds and cough when i was 13? thanks and god bless

It only logs in when i type in my email instead of my username. Then when I;m logged in, i went to the settings and checked what my username actually was and it was what i was typing in. i tried it again but it still doesn't work. And also i cant use twitter on my phone cuz it doesn't let me type in my email as the username.

you see i got a shiny machamp from a trade in soulsilver and its kind of weird. first of all is its name. it is spelled like machamp_______. ________ are space so its like machamp with spaces after it. secondly it was caught in one of those event pokeballs where you got celebii or the shiny legendary dogs. There is a guy who has liked me, but I being shy I never knew how to respond to his hints other than smiling sweetly at him. Furthermore, I think he'd been walking me out to my car to ask me out, but I kept nervously blurting out "bye." I did it again before parting for the summer. I'm afraid he now thinks I don't have any feelings other than friendship or am unwilling to open up and was likewise is hurt. When I emboldened two weeks later and sent him a text mentioning it would be fun together this summer to skate he sent me a vague, "Thanks for the invite Willow! I will only get a couple weekends off all summer so it probably won't work out but I'll keep you in mind if I want to do some skating later in the summer or fall. Have a great summer! (He was leaving the area for a summer camp counselor position that would give him little time off). I am inclined to think his response was a polite "no" because he's confused and his heart is weary. Guys, what can I do to show him that I have deeper feelings for him? I feel so badly!!! Thanks!

I've written about the first half of my first chapter but I decided to actually start outlining the chapters so the novel will make sense. I'm up to planning the seventh chapter but now I'm getting bored. I feel like the story has just gone flat and it feels very unappealing. I just want to start writing (I know I definitely will tomorrow, I just want to get some more planning before I go to sleep) but now I'm worried that the plot is really boring, which I find it really is. It's basically about bounty hunters and they're trying to find some guy. But the chapters are like, they interview this person, interview that.. blah blah blah. I'm not sure what to do and how to spice it up? Could you give me some advice or maybe a website to help me? Also, I've got a subplot and there's a murderer amongst the group of bounty hunters. I'm trying to give subtle clues but I think I'm making it obvious and I don't know how not to...? Have you had this problem and if so, what can I do? Thanks! ;)
