The age-of-consent in Michigan is 16. When I was 35, I (God forbid) dated a 17-year-old. We dated less than 2 months. We're both gay. We were friends on Myspace. I used one of his Myspace photos (public domain) and put it on my credit card. I also gave my boyfriend a credit card of his own with his name on it (as an authorized user). He was all excited and happy to have his picture on our credit cards. Basically I was his sugar daddy. He used the credit cards, with his photo on them, at his work so he could show them off to his friends and co-workers. Two months later he cheated on me, and abandoned me for the person he cheated on me with. I got attacked a few weeks later, robbed ,and sent to the Emergency Room. A citizen found my wallet and gave it to the police. The police were concerned that I had my boyfriends pictures on my credit cards, since I was 35 and the pics of my boyfriend were taken when he was 14. Obviously the police started an investigation thinking I was a pedo (even though he was 17 when we dated.) Fast-forward 2 years later. My now ex-boyfriend is threatening to sue me for "identity theft" and get a Personal Protection Order (PPO) against me claiming he "never gave permission" for me to use his likeness 2 years ago. I have not had his pictures on my credit card in over 2 years. 1. Can my ex-boyfriend legally do anything since it's been over 2 years since we dated? 2. Why would the police make (and keep) photocopies of my credit cards (with the pictures of my ex-boyfriend when he was 14) instead of just throwing them away? The age-of-consent if 16. I did nothing illegal dating a 17-year-old. There is nothing illegal having pics of a 14-year-old on my credit cards. It's not like I'm some creepy guy who randomly placed a total strangers photo on my credit cards. When comedian Jerry Seinfeld was 39-years-old, he dated a super-model named "Shashana" who was only 17. Nothing was said about that. Anyways, should I be concerned? I dont understand why the police are still keeping these photos in my permanent file? Why did the police decide to make photocopies of my credit cards (with the pictures of my ex on them) in the first place... unless they plan on using them against me somehow in the future? I seriously doubt the police would have taken photocopies, and kept them in my permanent file, if I had pictures of my Grand-mother on my credit cards. So what is their point of keeping the photocopies if I did nothing illegal, and it's been 2 years? 10 years from now , 20 years from now these photocopies will still be in my file? WHY?? Should I be concerned? The only thing this is "evidence" of is that I dated a 17-year-old...which is legal in my state. My ex is almost 20-years-old now. Should I hire an attorney to have the file/photocopies destroyed since it's been over 2 years since the investigation has been closed with no charges? And to everyone who claims they have better morals than me, or that I'm creepy , or a pedo...then you would have t osay the EXACT same thing about straight people like Jerry Seinfeld. Technically I'm a law abiding citizen. A 100-year-old could publicly date a 16-year-old in front of the police station in my state and theres nothing they could d oabout it because it's pefectly legal. There's nothing immoral about obeying the law! By the way my ex is a hig hschool drop out officilay diagnosed with bipolar type 1. He stopped taking his anti-psychotic medication Seroquel. That's when things deteriorated. Your thoughts...

Here's an example, based on what a dispatcher told me on the phone: A very loud party was going on in our neighborhood, and it was a tricky situation since the people doing it are generally decent, and we didn't want to get into a feud with them. So, I suggested that if the police had a cruiser in the area, they could just happen to overhear the party without having to say that someone nearby had reported it. The party music carried for several hundred yards. Unfortunately, the dispatcher said the police are told to ignore noise unless they get official complaints about it. The term the dispatcher used was "our peace can't be disturbed," meaning an officer inside a car is told to screen out noise unless it's reported to them. Is that generally true? It seems like an odd rule; they'd stop a mugging if they drove by it, and noise "mugs" peace of mind. This is in the CA Bay Area. Applicable penal code 415.2 lacks wording about how police can respond to noise.

So 2 weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend.we used protection and we were safe...or thought we were. But I am starting to feel "pregnancy symptoms" my lower back ALWAYS hurts I'm always tiered I feel like I'm going to throw up a lot through out the day. I've had sligh cramping (the baby attaching it's self) my boobs are so sore my aerials (I believe that's what it's called) are a little darker it seems like I can smell everything and it makes me want to vomit. My uterius is a little swollen and I feel/look bloted. I will randomly get light headed and I have a crazy amount of hormones (more then usual) and my boobs are swollen and hurt on the under neath/side. And when I lay on my tummy it hurts and my uterus area feels hard. Am I pregnant. I haven't missed my period yet. It's in the next week to week and a half. I have a dr. Appointment set up. Please tell me everything you know and if I might be pregnant. Thanks. Also my aunt knew she was pregnant 2 weeks before she missed her period because of her early symptoms. And don't tell me not to have sex. I'm living on my own been with this guy for 3 years and I'm old enough to do what I want. Thanks

Okay this is a weird question but my fingers randomly stiffen and they move , by my chest . My mom says I've done it since I was little . But I do it when I'm excited and mad . & I never realize I do it . I'm 15 & I have no special classes ,& I'm not disabled . Should I be worried , or do I have a disability ? Like I said, my cat has a large hard lump going from the right side of his neck to the top of his neck. This is something that is fairly recent, as I pet him there often and I just noticed it a few days ago. He's a 6(ish) year old male neutered cat that weighed 15.6 pounds last time we had him to the vet. About a month ago (Now that I think about it I think it was July 13th) we took him to the vet for surgery on his ear. He had a hematoma in his ear (http://www.mypetsdoctor.com/wp-content/upLoads/juniorahematoma1.jpg) that's not a picture of my cat. Any way, they put him under anesthesia and cut his ear open (about a 1/4 inch cut) and used 8 sutures super tight to close it and create scar tissue so it wouldn't puff up again. He also got a two dose topical treatment for ear mites (I believe it was Revolution) that he got after the surgery and again one month later (August 13th). That was over 15 days ago. I'm telling you all this because I thought it might be relevant to the lump on his neck. He doesn't seem to be in pain when you pet, poke, squeeze or slide the lump around. Yes, it slides, but only a little, it really just seems to move with his skin. Anyway, my idea was to watch it for awhile and if it gets bigger or causes him any pain I'll call the vet. I was thinking it was a reaction to the ear mite medicine, but that was 45 and 15 days ago so I would think it would've shown up a lot sooner than this. Thanks for reading this if you took the time! I was in the forest alone at night and all i had was a tiny flashlight, so i started walking to find a way to get out. i walked towards a large tree and shined the light on it and i saw my mum hung and her skin ripped lood dripping off her, i ran and saw a light so i went to it and it was another flashlight but bigger than mine so i took it and shone it up again and this time my dad and 2 sisters where hung just like my mum. then i saw somthing in the distance but it was to dark to see what it was, it started running towards me and about 20 metres before it got to me it turned to smoke. then i woke up, i have had this dream 3 times in the last week. i am now to scared to sleep because every night it gets about 5 metres closer. do i get this because i am sad does tht have anything to do with it?

My Father-in-law was sitting on the couch and was drinking a glass of room temperature water. The glass cup then exploded as if there was an m80 in the glass. The glass shattered a good ten to fifteen feet from where he was sitting at. Is there any logical explanation for this to have happened?

After Hurricane Irene my laptop stopped connecting to my home internet connection. It wont hook up at my house, like it has for the past month, or at my college. I have no idea what went wrong with this laptop. It is a brand new laptop from dell. My dad's laptop from Walmart works, so I'm using that for school for now, but mine has the programs I need plus the internet to send to my teachers. Does anyone know why a laptop would not connect to the internet? Also when I plug the gray wire from the modem that looks like a telephone wire into my laptop it works perfectly. But once its out, laptop stops the internet. Can someone please help me? THANK YOU.

We have one class together. Not including advisory. I asked this question already just i need more answers. So heres the story. Its the third day of school. I just met him but last year he was friends with one of my friends. When we saw eachother in math he sat next to me. I was talking to my friend and he will poke me and take my stuff. He said if i hug him he will stop. I do cuz we always get in trouble with the teacher for talking. He stares at me alot! This really bugs me, to me it's: a sign of immaturity (women who don't to grow up or who just haven't), condescending (like we're still stuck in the 50's), and sexist (why "girls" all the time and only "boys" when men are being immature or stupid?). Additional Details By the way the correct term counterpart equivalent for "guys" is "gals". "Dude" and "Dudett". PS: By the way, I'm re-asking this question because my first one was never answered by the so-called "best" answer in fact it didn't answer my question at all and only served as an insult.

Okay, some little girl is trying to ruin my relationship. I'm with a 27 year old and I'm turning 17 in a few months. Yeah, he's much older but I can't help who I love. No were not sexually active. My boyfriend says that he was falsely accused of a crime he didnt commit. He also says that he was tricked into signing a paper so he can come out of jail faster. The result was that he declared himself guilty, served 5 months in prison and they took away his legal residency and was deported. He is recently in honduras and wants to come back through the border. I want to know if theres any other way that he can come back the legal way despite his criminal record and his deportation. Also if I understood correclty he was also deported by some anti-ganster law in new york state. I know he has made many mistakes but he is not a ganster, He was just at the wrong place, the wrong time, and worse with the wrong friends who were fooling around. --> i even thought about the possibility for him to reopen the case from honduras or something but that seems difficullt- HOW CAN HE EVER COME BACK LEGALLY HERE ??????????? PLEASE SOME LEGAL ADVICE !!!!!!!!!
