[ Maintenance & Repairs ] Open Question : 85 TransAm ignition coil problems?

I have an 85 TransAm with a carbureted 305. I was trying to fix a plastic cover (under the steering column) while the car was running and the power cut for a second to the radio and the engine died. Tried to start it and no dice. Long story short, it was the ignition coil. Replaced it and it was working fine. HOWEVER, I was testing the car out and had it running parked for about 10 minutes when it died again. Same thing, power to the coil, but no spark. My question is: What would cause the coil to die twice? I'm getting a constant 12 volts to the coil, and I don't know if a short could destroy a coil like that. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I know its risky in this economy but hear me out. I live in Rochester, MN small town but our downtown is very busy do to the Mayo Clinic and stuff, my mom wants to open a restaurant that specializes in Sudanese/Egyptian food, specifically baklava, since she is Sudanese she makes it really well everyone in the sudanese community here thinks she is the best at making it but the audience wont be sudanese people it would be anerican people since most american people love baklava(even this one time when my sister bought bad baklava to school and they all still loved it ) and love to try different foods. It would be called Gawa's Baklava located in downtown, the main thing would be baklava that would be sold, but also when they buy other things they would get a free baklava so that would make them want more since you cant just have one xD. She could get some sort of a business partner to help with the businessy part .Right now our income is 14,000 annually so she would have to get some sort of a loan, do you think she could get one with this business plan?(it will be way more organized then this, but the same idea though) Sorry for bad grammar i was typing kinda fast Thanx for any useful answers <3

It's dell inspiron with core i3,2.40 GHz,Win 7 home basic (x64 bit),1 GB ATI video card,3 GB ram. I recently installed gta 4 and i'm in last level now but i dont know why but my laptop turned too slow...i took a lot of time to start up...like 10 mins.i tried that "speed up my pc" but it stopped while scanning a file in http folder in pc in gta4 game.i just uninstalled the game.but not able to delete that folder.its showing some error saying something like I/O device or something like that.when i rebooted my laptot it performed chkdsk and showed many "file sector ***** unreadable"...what should i do now..?is this the harddisk trouble...or should i change the o.s?i still got warrenty..will my harddisk be replaced if i call dell?what should i tell them my problem is?help..

I had this strange nightmare! It was about my house catching on fire and i went to my moms room and saw her dead on the floor burning with blood and my step dad next to her burning also. So i went to my little brothers room and he was in his crib safe and the fire was coming and when i went to pick him up my arms went through him and the fire got him.... I was wondering why i wasnt burning and why i couldnt pick my brother up. Then i went in my room and was basicly watching my body burn but i was like watching it burn so its kinda like i was a ghost. What does it mean?

Today I was reading something an author wrote on her blog about how she just recently got an assistant & how she had to hurry & go meet with the lady because they were going to be discussing her new book series for about an hour and a half. That made me wonder "Do the assistants help with ideas, do advertising, etc.?" She also said about her assistant sorting through fanmail, etc. Can anyone just kinda give me a list or overview of what ALL an author's assistant does? That author's post just got me curious. :)

I've met many christian who claims that they are christian but not active or active in church and sin and then ask forgiveness from god and not really understand their mistakes. I just moved to Asia this past March, and my hair has been falling out in DROVES! Now my hair on top is extremely thin. I can see right through to my scalp if my hair is wet, or if I wave or comb my hair a certain way. When I look at my hair in the mirror, at scalp level, I can see straight through my hairs, individual hairs, like hair plugs. My hair is not receding anywhere, it is simply falling out onto my floor and pillow everyday. Please help! Why is this happening? Is it my extreme nutrition switch from American to Asian diet? Or something in the water here? In the air? I've also had itchy pustules on my scalp, but those have been there for over a year and I'm only now having hair fall out super fast, and all at once.

ok so i had sex on the 13th of augest and stupid us did not use protection! ok so all is good then a day and a half ago i was at my friends and r like hey lets go take u a prego test cuz u might be prego im like ok whatever we went to walmart got a pretty good one went and peed on it ok on dark line shows up real fast then like 3 min later a faint blue line shows up 2 lines mean prego but idont beleave it so the vary next moreing i went to dg and bout a crapy 1$ one peed on it and it came out negitive so im like awsome! but ever sents i took the test i have had some tummy akes like i fill a slight like umm yano not sure how to put it but its just not a pain but like someone is pushing on my tummy i would gess ok and i love ppj cant eat it makes me sick and i cant eat banans they make me gag but i love em..now i no some ppl can have a pired while prego mine r so ireguler like they come when they want and go when they want. i was bleeding yester day it was not hevey but not light and i had that the day befor to and today its not bad its some what light but kinda hevey like the more i move the more blood i gess i give out dont no! my lower back was hurting early today and my boobs hurt but i only say they hurt cuz there sunburnt and i have headakes and get light headed but not like now yester day i did. and im wanting to sleep alot and if i drink me a 32oz of water i gotta pee like every 10 mins can someone tell me wtf is going on with me am i prego or like im i just dieing lol Also i was gonna wate tell sater day to take another pee pee test but ne one wanna help me now will be awsome!!! if there is ne thing eals u might need to no just ask and i will tell u yes or no or whaterver it is that u asked Pleas help me
