While helping my parents pack up their house for an upcoming move, we came across an old violin in a case that they bought for me when I was a little kid (unfortunately not a valuable one...no Stradivarius auctions for me!) THe only problem is the case has a little lock on it, which is locked, and the key was either lost or tossed long ago. Apparently I can't post a picture of the lock here but the key hole is one of the old-fashioned ones shaped like a circle with a straight line coming down out of the bottom. I could pretty easily just pry the lock and/or case open, but that would undoubtedly damage the case which I'd prefer to avoid. Suggestions? Help?

ok so i really wanna know so for all you guys who love math here you go?? travel 244 miles each week due to school....... my gas tank takes i believe like 445 miles on a tank its an 06 cobalt...........the gas prices where i live is about 3.36 a gallon........and my cobalt fills up with 11 gallons........... from september all the way till dec 6th how much gas, and how much money would i have wasted?? please i really wanna know so i can make budget cuts, and saving more money of course those 244 miles do not include weekends and does not include going to trips or anything like that that is how much i travel due to school.....again i wanted to know how much gas i would have wasted and how much money i would have wasted thank you guys =)

I am having trouble using the DC++ network trying to share data files with my peers. I am in a room at college where I have an ethernet cable coming out of my wall which provides internet and what not. When I plug this cable into my laptop, everything works fine. When I plug my ethernet cable into my wireless router, i still have internet access but files cannot be searched on DC++. I was wondering what could be the problem and how to fix it..... My router is a D-link DIR-300

My hair isn't horribly thin, like balding in places or anything like that, but I just have less than I used to due to some medication that I take. My hair is currently long and I naturally have loose curls, and it gets frizzy very easily. I am 20 years old and my face is round, so I am basically looking for something that will add some volume but still kind of flatter my face, without making it look fatter like a super short cut would (I hate super short cuts). Any suggestions (picture links would be awesome) are welcomed, and I really appreciate any help you can provide. Thanks very much! I've had pretty much the same hair for 7 years! Time for something new.

The guy I've been seeing for about 6 months due to his type of business had to relocate to another state. He invited me to come w/ him but my current situation does not allow for me to up and move all like that. So anyways we've planned for me to come visit for a week, well I mentioned that the week that works for both of us I'll be on my period. Then he asks me am I coming to see him just for sex or am I coming to spend time with him. I told him to see him (even though really for BOTH reasons) but I said to see him. Then he said it shouldn't matter if its that time of the month or not. For some reason this bothered me. I guess because lately he's been so busy he has seemed sort of distant. I still can't wait to see him but am I just tripping or over that comment or should I not go?

i have alot too type so do please take the time too read and do please try too help me. im 18 i passed grade 11 then at the end of grade 11 i dropped out because of emotional issues going on i didnt pass my beginners i quit my job and ive just been laying around at home for a few months i dont know what to do.. is there a way to get my grade 12 from home ive been out of school for a year. any help on that appreciated. i just dont know what too do i feel so confused. but i also met a girl that makes me feel like i should get back into everything and try again. i just dont know can anyone please help ? if you have advice that would be so great. its not that im lazy i just feel like i dont care anymore but i really want too. all i do is sit at home and sleep i kinda dont like myself who im becoming and how bad im making my own life. i want too finish school but from home this way i can work as well. i want too save for a car... can anyone help me at all please... any advice is appreciated

If military lawyers are not allowed or authorized to provide legal advice to civilian clients who are not eligible to receive legal assistance then is it also unethical if the lawyer claims attorney-client privilege? A USAF colonel attorney agreed to provide legal advice to a foreign national civilian that have no association with the armed forces in which the civilian accused an active military member of alleged wrongful acts. The colonel gave the civilian legal assistance and openly claimed attorney-client privilege when asked refused to testify in trial due to unavailability and privilege. Can the colonel be brought up on charges for unethical conduct? Thank you for any response.

Recently, I get at least 3 or 4 of friend request a day from complete strangers. So far..in one month, about 38 people have asked me to add them in my friend list. Mostly these people are from Philippine or indonesia (I am Korean.) I am afraid somehow my facebook account was attacked by hackers or something. OK, maybe not that, but anyway, it is something very unusual and doesn't feel right. and I don't want this happening. What should I do? Do I have to create new facebook account?

walls that had to cut into and plumbing that had to be fixed. there were industrial fans to dry out the walls for several days to help prevent mold.The dust was tremendous. My question is who should pay for the hotel that I had to relocate to?

Okay. So I am planning on getting my tongue pierced. I have found a professional piercer who is willing to do it without parental consent. I am planning on not telling my mom. I mean I figure if when I talk I don't show off my tongue I'll be fine. Anyways I have a couple questions! People say that ibuprofen and ice is good for the swelling. I need my swelling to go down as fast as possible. Should I take some ibuprofen like right before I get the piercing? And how long do you think I will talk differently? What kind of barbell is best to start out with? Smoking!? What is the deal with that.. I know it's not recommended but if I gargle with salt and such right before and after does it still matter? How long does it take to heal? Basically just give me as much information about tongue piercings as you can. I'm trying to know as much as possible before I do it. Google helps, but everyone seems to have different answers to stuff. So yeah. If you already have one... Does it hurt to get it done? My mom is really strict and she doesnt rlly let me go outside that much, she thinks its dangerous. Dont get me wrong I love her but Im just wondering how can I lose weight? I used to be underwieght (that was when we were in phillilppines) but now I gained weight (were in america now) :( I miss being skinny. Roubine got gold wrong 2 years ago when he claimed it could never go to $1500. Now he says it's a bigger bubble than subprime mortgages. What metrics is he using? Didn't he notice that mining stocks haven been stagnating in the last 3 years. There will be a bubble in gold eventually, but how can it be in a bubble now when everybody's screaming bubble? Is it because Roubini wants to be a technocratic central planer of the economy (Fed Chairman) and gold doesn't fit into his scheme, so he has to degrade it and pretend it has no intrinsic value?

My doctor recently started me on Adderall which lowers my appetite even more than it already was. I always stop eating as soon as I feel satisfied, but I feel satisfied all day now. I want some ideas on what I could eat *or* drink throughout the day that isn't too big and has vitamins. I can still squeeze in a healthy meal for breakfast before I take the pill but I also need something I can either take to campus with me or usually buy there, maybe like ensure? Don't care if it's high in calories, as long as it's small size, healthy and convenient. Thanks!

I remember it was a Young Adult fiction book, and it had a second civil war, about abortion, and that they solved it by making abortions illegal until the child was like, thirteen, and then you could take them to this center that would use every part of their body and give it to people who lost that appendage, so "technically" they wouldn't be killing the child.

hello im skye and my boyfriend is called Martin im 16 and he is 20.recently i have gave birth to our little boy Brooklyn. my boyfriend takes drugs/drinks and smokes and last saturday was pulled over from the police for drink driving as he failed to take a drink test. he's shop lifted before he has been banned from driving for six months but now is aloud to drive again with 3 points on his licence. he's started fights and made people get rushed into hospital.he isn't allowed down this street near where we live as he smashed someones window in bad temper. he has smashed the door in on the flat before of people spreading rumours about me and him. he was been to court and it has been placed in the local newspaper i feel ashamed as he has just a brand new baby boy and he has gone and done that. i don't know what to say or do he has also been arrested on several occasions when hes been to drunk hes become violent towards public and police men. i love martin to pieces but i don't want Brooklyn growing up following his dad's footsteps. i love them exactly the same. how can i help him become a better dad because i think he wants to im not too sure. http://www.flickr.com/photos/66858829@N08/6081221052/in/photostream/ this is a photo of martin and brooklyn any help would be great thanks

I go to a public High School and Georgia and FCA meets every Friday in our audiorium and the have posters all around the school and they have announcements on the intercom all the time and the teachers are always telling us to go. I am a Christian but im not that religious. I feel bad for the people who are not Christians and I was wondering if it is illegal for them to be continually shoving this religious stuff down their throats
