I believe in raising my children to think for themselves, BUT my oldest son has not arrived at the same conclusion about hair length that I have. I have never liked LONG hair on a boy. When my own hair was rather long, it itched, but it also makes a boy look sloppy, effeminate, and like a druggie. I really don't want to tell him this. I am looking for a theological reason for short hair. Is their something in the Bible or Roman Catholicism that I could use to help my argument? What sayest THOU???

My story revolves around 10 year old Elly Rosenwood. She moves with her dad Joseph and new stepmom Miranda from San Diego to a place in Northern California called Mt. Shasta. One day her stepmom picks her up hours late from school and rushes back frantically to try to get there before Joseph. However it had rained the previous night. As she is driving a stag walks and stops a couple of feet away from the car. She hits the pedal too hard and the car skids of the road and crashes into a barb wired fence on the outskirts of a meadow. Elly gets out of the car and tries to get to the other side of the meadow, where she sees a house in order to get help. However as she reaches the middle she notices a big stone arch standing right in front of her. Even though she has passed by this meadow she has never seen it in her life. She suddenly hears clatter behind her and notices three seperate headlights behind her. She realizes that people have stopped to help. She turns around and begins to head back when she hears voices coming from the stone arch. She turns around to look at it and the inside of the arch, aruptly turns black as night and begins to form white stars. Two shadowy black hands grab her and takes her inside the arch. All at once, Elly is being grabbed and being pulled upwards. Then it unanticipadely lets her go and she lands on grass. She is no longer on Earth but in Agharta. Agharta is a realm inhabitied by the beings from the lost civilization of Atlantis. Once a thriving, peacful civilization they were betrayed by the one person they trusted most. Villaria. A woman who once protected the Amaranthine crystal. A crystal with tremendous power. However she misused this power in a act of hate and vengance and was destroyed. But this in turn, destroyed there land. So 6 sorcerer`s used the crystal to take the last inhabitants of the world to another realm. ( Agharta) as time went on man forgot Atlantis and cast off the people as myths. Anyway Elly is going to befriend a fairy, an elf, a "human" a unicorn and many other creatures. Elly and the elf are going to be love interests and the " human" likes Elly and the fairy but I want him to ultimately choose the fairy however, it is agaisnt fairies to marry anyone outside there own species. Its a metaphor for old traditions vs. the new age. And he is sort of expected to marry Elly. And the Elf to someone else. So there`s that to look forward to :/ the end

Okay so I liked this guy, he liked me, my best friend likes him too. We went on a date and it went great. A few days later at ice skating he tells me he just wants to be friends then tells my best friend he likes her on the same day. Of course we both had a HUGE crush on him but I'm over him now... At skating I was always with him and my best friend stopped talking to me and was always crying because of when I was with him. I tried to comfort her loads of times but she didn't want me near her! Now the tables have turned and she's finally got what she wanted, it seems like she couldn't give a toss about how I feel. She said "You've had your chance, why shouldn't I get one?" it's breaking our friendship apart!! The other day I knew they were together but she told me she was alone... My friends all dislike her because of what she's doing. Is she being self centred? Am I doing anything wrong? Ahh what should I do? :( We haven't been that close for a while now and I really don't want to be friends with her anymore, how should I go about this? We're both 16 btw. Thanks. <3

I only eat 1 meal per day and it's a healthy home cooked normal portion. I walk a minimum of 4 km everyday (3 miles) and on some days I walk an extra 2 or 3 hour intensive walk. I also skip (jump rope) everyday for 10 minutes. I snack on fruit, vegetables, tuna or soup sometimes if I feel sick.

I need a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 lens and a 85m f1.4 but they are far more costly than the Sigma equivalent, the thing is I have a Nikon D7000 and not sure weather by using an alternative that it would damage the Camera, the other thing & I think it is the main reason, if I buy the cheaper Sigma model am I going to regret it, is there that much a difference between Nikon Lenses and the much cheaper Sigma lenes!!! I cant really afford the Nikon lenses but I don't want to waste money on a Sigma if there is a big deference in performance and quality. the Lens are for very fast ice skating sport and portrait in doors and out am I looking at the right lenses

Okay, here's the situation: 1.I am 22 years old and have been with this company for about 6 months. 2.About two months ago, this 22 year old girl was hired into my department. 3.When she first came in, I sort of showed her the ropes and showed her how things were done and we sort of bonded over that time period. 4.Since then, we have grown closer. We talk every day at work. We talk about life, movies, music, sports, and etc. We also have inside jokes and joke and laugh together. 5.She always sits next to me at company meetings. 6.Sometimes, she'll come over to my desk and sit and talk with me for 30-45 minutes at a time. During these times, we talk about our weekends, and about life and joke and laugh together. 7.Sometimes, she'll tell me her hopes and dreams for the future (for example, she'll tell me how one day she wants to move to Florida; we live in Minnesota). 8.Earlier this week, she said to me: "I have a friend who told me last night that she is driving to Alabama next weekend. I was thinking of this when she told me because you went to Alabama last weekend. 9.Most of the time when we are talking, she will have a smile on her face and will look directly into my eyes. Sometimes, I'll make her laugh histerically. 10.Sometimes, we'll tell each other stories about our past. 11.She doesn't talk to anyone else at work nearly as much as she talks to me. I'm also the only one that she ever comes and sits with to laugh and joke with during the work day. 12.There was this one time she asked me where I go for lunch and then asked me if it was any good. 13.Sometimes, I'll say some little joke that clearly isn't funny but she'll laugh anyway. 90% of girls nowadays are either bisexual, lesbian. The ones who aren't are bi curious and want to try it with a girl but just haven't yet. Most girls have already experimented with their girlfriends or will.Straight girls have sex with girls all the time. With all the girls liking other girls now, does that mean that guys won't really be needed for dating anymore, because girls could just get sexual and emotional satisfaction from other girls? I mean so many lesbians on here brag about easily seducing "straight" girls?I feel bad as a guy knowing that I'm not really needed anymore. What happened to all the real straight girls? Also, even "Straight" girls prefer the female body over the male and are more turned on by girls, so basically only gay guys even like guys at all. It sucks to be a guy when most girls like other girls, or admitting to being more turned no by them than by guys. Why can't girls just not be turned on by girls and be straight like 90% of guys. My friend is self-harming herself. Her parents are divorced and she gets teased by her brother and I don't think her mum often takes time to talk to her, and just lets her be. she obviously feels neglected. I told my mum about it, and she said shes probably doing it for the attention, as she has recently dyed her hair purple, only worn black, changed the music shes listened to, all for the attention I think. I really care about her cuz its nothing something that is nice to do. Shes told her parents that it was just her rats scratching her, but it obviously isnt. What do I do?

Ok so i just got the job starting next week as a bus boy ad a arcade/laser tag place that also has an attached restraunt with like 8 tables. Now i dont see many people comming into an arcade to eat so i doubt ill be making good money. I live i michigan and its 5.25 us 10% tips. The place opens next week. Ok, I don't know what to do. When we were in school, she was being really cool, nice, and funny. But now, every time I go over to her house, it's all about her. She's mean to her little brother, even though he does his own thing all the time and she purposefully picks fights with her dad. We always have to do what she wants to. For example, when we listen to music, it's always the songs she wants to listen to. When I wanted to listen to one specific song, I didn't even get to enjoy it because she asked if she could change it literally every five seconds through the entire song. It also bothers me that i feel like she's using me. Like, I recently got my license, and I had to just ask my mom to drop me off at her house so I didn't drive myself because I knew she wouldn't leave me alone about driving someplace if I had the car, even though I wouldn't be allowed to drive somewhere. Sure enough, I was only at her house for about twenty minutes when she asked if we could go somewhere. She didn't seem very happy when I said I didn't have the car. Then, the entire time I was there, all we did was set up a garage sale. Not only does she know I hate everything about garage sales, but she didn't tell me they were going to be having one when she invited me over. And lastly, I feel like she doesn't listen to me when I really need someone to listen to. Whenever she's upset, that's the only thing we talk about. But I was telling her I didn't want to go back to school (there was some problems with some other students at the end of the last school year), and she wouldn't listen to me. She just constantly says "I don't want to talk about that right now." But if I ever try to talk to her about it, she says it again. I feel like she's completely different then how she acted at school, and I don't really like how she's treating me or her family. What do I do? Also, she refuses to come to my house because she says she hates my dad, even though his job is to travel.

Hi, My sister & i have lived out on a farm basically for all our lives. We have a neighbor who lives next to us and he hates animals. My dad has about 7 dogs at our house and our neighbor has just recently shot and killed one of the puppies we had making it a count of 4 dogs of ours that he has killed by shooting them. I personally have confronted him about this on numerous occasions telling him that he needs to stop. Also he has a non holstered gun that he has waved around in my face and in my sisters one year old sons is that illegal to have a gun non holstered? I also want to know if i have my sister put up a no trespassing sign are we actually aloud to shoot him for coming onto our property? He had came into our yard and threatened my sisters husband about shooting our dogs and he also has threatened myself on numerous occasions. I do not live at home anymore with my sister she just called me yesterday and told me what he did. I really need to know what i can do here. The cops did tell him that if the dogs come onto his property then yes he was aloud to shoot them its in the country we don't keep our dogs chained up and we also have a wooden fence around our property so i don't understand why he keeps shooting them. Any advice would be great. Thank you

areas that are foreclosing? I mean in the most wanted areas which houses go from 700,000 to the millions do they ever foreclose?Do you get a realtor or do it yourself?I ask because i know there can be auctions at courthouses,and short sales but can you really find a good opportunity at this time in california,the houses with high price tags that have defaulted on payments that have to go into foreclosure that are selling for what is owed,if not a lot is owed can you still find good investment opportunity's?How would i go about looking into this thanks
