[ Programming & Design ] Open Question : How do i stop magento from directing from http to https in the front and backend?

I currently use magento, and have purchased a ssl certificate. I went to the admin/configuration/web and went down to secure and inputted https://domain_name/index.php/ in the secure base url section and then right below, in the other base section I typed the same thing. Now, my homepage and backend are displaying like html only. I want to reverse what I did, but when I try to undo the step, I can't save the changes because the save changes button doesn't work. I press it, but no response. What can I do? Thank you!

This is the second part of my character summaries for today. I would like to hear your opinions on their names, and the summaries that I have created for each of them, as well as any suggestions for improvements. Lake Tyler Montgomery – 17 • Lake grew up with his Grandmother in Vancouver Canada, like Alice, his parents died when he was very young. His Grandmother sent him to the Home shortly after his thirteenth birthday, when he started displaying the same 'Gifts' as both his parents. – His Grandmother is a Wiccan, as was his Mother, but she believed herself to old to teach him by herself. • He's small at only 5'3, slim and baby faced with lightly tanned skin, curly mouse brown hair and ice blue eyes. With a lop-sided smile, and a scar under his right eye from the night in which his parents died. • He's quiet and shy, and doesn't really talk to those outside of his social circle. He's good friends with the twins, Riker and Rydel, and he likes to hang around with Iris and the girls, because they don't pick on him for being small. He likes Alice when she arrives, because he sees them as being the same, though he feels sorry that she had to grow up not knowing who she was, and without anyone there – This in turn makes him appreciate his Grandmother more. • Griffin gives him the creeps; He gets bad vibes being around him. • He is descendant from a line of Wiccan's, and so can use forms of magic and invoke the spirits; though not powerful one's. His father – a French/Canadian Marine - had the 'Gift' of sensory location, meaning if given time, he can find anyone or anything anywhere, only however, if he knows exactly who or what it is he is looking for. Angel Louis Sanchez (Nicknamed St. Angel) – 18 • Angel, otherwise known as St. Angel, arrived at the Home only a year prior to the beginning of the story. After being bitten by a Were-shifter during the summer at his home, in Mexico. His parent's do not know what exactly what he is, but know that he is not their same little boy anymore; and his two brothers, Marcus 12 and Santeo 16 are afraid of him. • He's 6'6, very tanned and well built with broad shoulders, has a shaven head, and velvety black eyes. He has long deep scars across his chest and for-arms. • Despite the recent events and his becoming a supernatural creature, Angel still remains a happy and cheerful person. He considers himself a Pacifist, but has a feeling that his 'Love thy neighbor' and 'let's talk it out' approach may have to change soon; though he is very much the peace keeper among those at the Home. He takes Alice under his wing in the first few days of her arriving, as he too was knew to the world not long before. • He's good friends with Eloise, and likes to look after many of the younger residents of the Home. • He spends a lot of his free time fixing up cars at the mechanics in the Village, and has built up his own truck over the course of the year.

I want to board there instead of living with my parents and 3 other siblings. I want to have the actual college experience, like living away from family and taking care of myself. I'd feel I'd have more freedom than being stuck at home. My mom thinks it's silly when we live 7 miles from the place and it would be added debt to an already expensive tuition cost. I might go insane if I have to spend another 4 years here. Should I go my own way or listen to my mom?

Hi everyone. My Hp Pavilion dv4 laptop has been working great. I resolved my blue screen problem but today the power adpater has stopped feeding power. There is a light next to the adapters jnput hole and t wont light up anymore, indicating it wont charge. Is this an adapter problem or a computer problem? It runs on battery fine. It had been increasejngly difficult to make the power light come on.

I lift weights 4 times a week and my back has been hurting for the past 2 weeks, today especially. I'm Just wondering if a proper month or so off workouts will cure it? I also sit in a chair a lot of hours a day for work and I'm normally leaned forward on the computer, could this be a cause and if so what can I do to support my back while on a chair? Also if I must take a month or so off working out, can I stilas wellor will that effect my back aswell?

I was watching TV and doing nothing wrong and he walked past the couch and smacked me in the head. He told me to clean the kitchen but he isn't allowed to do that because he doesn't live here and anyway my mom never told me to do it. I'm 13 and he's 26 so he thinks he can tell me what to do and yell at me like hes my dad. Is he allowed to hit me? I tell my mom but she never stops him.

Seriously, think about it, a girl slaps a guy in the face in a t.v. show and everyone cheers her on like shes done something awesome, but a guy slaps a girl and its horrible. i mean, it IS horrible, I HATE men abusing women, I just don't see why everyone thinks its ok for women to abuse men, i dont think thats right either. why is it so socially acceptable for women to hit men?

There's all sorts of clicks: jocks, Goths, punks, loners, nerds, etc. I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am. Here are some of my qualities. My favorite color is green, I love rap, pop, hip hop, r&b, electronica, metal, and 80's music. I like to where jeans, preferably blue, black or gray. My shoe of choice is vans, preferably black with skulls. My shirts usually quote something, or have a funny saying on them. They're black or green, or bright. My hair is blonde and curly, I've died it before. I like to keep to my friends, or myself. O really care about my academics. I've never done drugs but I drink heavily. I'm 15 years old, and in 10th grade. I like to put gel in my hair and either fohawk it, or make it like Forrest Gump. All my friends are Scene, but I don't really like the scene look, although I do own skinny jeans. I'm very sarcastic, and I'm in an advanced art class. I love Indie music. I'm bisexual. I love math class, but HATE English classes, and reading. I don't skateboard, or play video games. Please tell me what you think I am, and be brutally honest! Any class that fits my description! I have sole custody of my son. His dad and I dont hv a schedule on visitation. But he sees him when he desires to do so. But, I am tired of the last minute calls of "im a hour from your house im coming to get my son." I hate to fight so I give in and listen to him curse me when I say "you need to give me notice cuz im tired of rearranging my schedule in the drop of a hat". Take today for example. He was suppose to meet me to drop our son off. I get a text as Im walking out the door "im changing plans Im taking my son out of town to monroe". I very much so get upset and say hell no im sick of this with you. Im getting him we hv plans for a big birthday party and you already knew this. Well he laughs and curses calling me a stupid bitch and refuses to tell me where they are going. I ask to talk to our son (3 years of age) and I hear his dad telling him "your crazy ass bitch of a moma on the phone". So i tell lane I love him and to put daddy back on phone. I tell him he needs to grow up and stop talking about me around him. He simply says I cant control his vocabulary or actions. Which is right, but today is saturday ofcourse my attorney isnt in the office so I call the police department in both parishes and one tells me if the custody papers dont state I cant forcefully remove lane w the assistance of the law, then I have no right and the 2nd that my ex resides in told me they cant help cuz I dont live in the same parish. WHAT RIGHT DO I HAVE.? What do I do now? I cant do crap about anything even having sole custoday. My ex is very irresponsible. He picks him up in a truck that has no air conditioner (108 degree weather) no seats belts in the car, door wont totally close, and has no fear at all of loosing him in an accident. He refuses to work w me at all in regards to our son. Im 32 he is 24. This is his first child. We originally split due to the alcohol and abuse he did to me and was mean to the kids. I have no proof cuz I hid it from the family and friends. He use to hate our son cuz he said he was taking all my attn and he use to want nothing to do with him. So y is he acting in this manner still? I live in louisiana. i send my ex about 6 pictures a month through text of our son and i let him know when he is sick. Other than that, i dont care to have anything else to do w him. Im being nice I keep him posted on everything. But when he has lane he wont answer a phone call or tell me where they are. DONT I HAVE A RIGHT TO THIS INFORMATION.??

I'm 5'8 1/2, and I'm not sure how much I weigh, but if this helps at all my measurements are: waist: 23" hips: 33" bust 34" thighs 18". I know that doesn't sound that thin, but my ribs and hip bones stick out, and it looks kinda gross to me. I've lost a bit of weight lately due to being sick and also I joined a swim team and started eating less. How do I know if I'm getting too thin?

I'm in high school and am very interested in learning more about directing film. I've gathered a few titles to start with, but when it comes to the date of publishing, I get a little iffy. It seems as though all of the best ones have been written in the 90s and even reviews say that they need to be updated. I have stuff like "Film Production: The Complete Uncensored Guide to Filmmaking" and "Actors Turned Directors: On Eliciting the Best Performance from an Actor and Other Secrets of Successful Directing". Because of the content in them, I can see why they would need to be updated (current use of HD, the nonexistence of VHS, etc). Do you have any suggestions of any good books directing? and why you would suggest them? Also, have you read the books I've listed, and would they be good enough to read despite being outdated?

Just bought a used 05 with 7k miles in pretty good shape. Have been riding it with no problems until a few days ago. I went to turn it on and everything turned over like normal but it would not fire up. Checked it over for anything obvious and checked the plugs to make sure they were getting a spark which they are. Before this I did put in a full tank so I was thinking maybe bad gas but doubtful because it ran fine going home. Any ideas on some other things to check out?

Ok my 4 1/2 year old is confusing numbers now. Example 19 is 91, 18 is 81, 14 is 41 and so on. im not sure if that is normal. I have heard that it is and others have told me she might be dyslexic. Letters she knows fine.

Hi i've install a system in my car (two amps one for the speakers which i change to alpines type R and the next one is for the subs that i put in two 12". i have also put in two line out converters as well). now it plays for like 2 to 3 days then stop playing, the amps still comes on the radio is showing everything the same i am just not getting any sound from it. I would really appreciate if anyone out there could help me. PS. i ran the wires Straight from the Speakers to the amps.

Alright - I have a site on a server that has continuous errors when the host upgrades and whatnot - technical support is pure junk and I don't have time to let my site sit due to their ignorance. I want to move my site thru FTP to another host which I have on another site. I have never done this before, but is this a simple process? I don't need any databases for wordpress/coppermine gallery - just the text files that are stored for my homepages and subpages. Can someone walk me thru this process - I know the FTP login information, just not sure how this should be done. Both these accounts are free hosting so hopefully I can still transfer.

I'm in a 2011 PPR league, and I have the first overall pick. So should I take Arian Foster or Adrian Peterson? This is my analysis of the two players. Offensive Pieces Edge: Foster Even after losing the full back Vonta Leach, the Texans still have a good offensive line and the highly successful zone-blocking scheme. Their passing attack is also very strong, so defenses can't zero in on Foster, otherwise they will be burnt. Peterson on the other hand, is playing behind a bad offensive line. Losing McKinnie hurts, Hutchinson is declining, and the rest of the line lacks talent. Opponents can also load the box vs. Peterson, because the Vikings have a weak passing game, even with McNabb. Risk Factor Edge: Peterson Foster could have had a fluke year. After only one amazing year, Foster has yet to prove himself again. Arian Foster is also much more injury prone. He had surgery recently, was bothered with leg problems in 2010, and has had hamstring issues in camp. Peterson however, has missed 3 games in the last 4 seasons. He puts up consistent numbers each year. Schedule Difficulty Edge: Tie At a glance, the Texans have the harder schedule. They face the Steelers and Ravens. However, the Vikings schedule could be surprisingly tricky. They play against the Lions twice. In the past, the Lions would be a great matchup for any running back, but now with Suh and Fairley, I wouldn't want to run against them, especially with a bad offensive line. I am also considering Ray Rice, Chris Johnson, and Jamaal Charles. Rice is very intriguing after recently becoming the go-to guy at the goal line. He has always been a good PPR option because he adds receiving yards. Also the ravens have added one of the best blocking fullbacks, Vonta Leach. Chris Johnson has great upside, but is having contract issues. If he can resolve his issues with the team, he could be the top fantasy performer once again. Jamaal Charles should put up even better numbers than last year, since Thomas Jones is out of the equation. The kid has huge potential. So who do you think I should take? Foster, Peterson, Johnson, Rice, or Charles? Thanks for your input
