[ Video & Online Games ] Open Question : Is there a way to get sims 3 store items for free?

I've tried many sites including moreawesomethenyou but the contents in the download which provide a launcher exe. file that installs the items do not appear in the game, I heard the new patches for ea is the culprit. So how do I get items in the store that are no longer in the game. I'm so itching to get the ultra lounge set but I can't buy it anymore in the store. I heard if you get the pack files instead of going thru the launcher it'll solve the problem but these are non-existent, I've browsed the web all over and cannot find any store items that are in package files.

Often people are more talkative & well socialized. They can BS, think on the fly, make people laugh, and have engaging subjects to talk about. On the other hand I can't be them. I've tried BSing and cracking jokes, or try relating to people. Sadly I can't hold a conversation without people looking bored and walk away like whatever. Plus I've failed epically at being funny. Thing is I'm too straight forward, honest, and such. Can't be anything else without being a fool. One reason I have few friends. Not to mention girls find guys like me boring. Oh well. I've given up.

So i was friends with a guy who liked me but i didn't like him and he knew that. he would say things like i'm glad we met and hang out with me a lot at dances our church has. sometimes i didn't like him asking me to dance a lot because i didn't want people to think we were together but of course i wouldn't tell him that...i mean he is pretty nice. but then at one dance we didn't hang out or even talk he said he thinks he likes this other girl better so it was best if he avoided me i mean i think it would be good if he liked someone else i would be happy for him but he always makes it sound like he needs my permission ...after that i kind of ignored his texts he sent me a text saying are we still friends? so im not sure...my cousin said it would be mean to not be friends with him but i personally had real fun for the first time at the dance when he wasn't around me the whole time. What do you think? and sorry if i left out any information that makes this sound confusing.

I happen to be watching the movie on TV at the moment and we'll keep it at that; it's a movie. BUT I noticed that when the T-Rex got out it was at normal ground level with the humans with just the electric wire fence blocking them, but when the dinosaur was going on his rampage, he pushed the jeep down what seemed to be a huge 50-100 ft drop where the T-Rex just was. So how was the dinosaurs feet touching at normal ground level when there was a huge drop unless he was flying? YouTube it if you must! I'm watching on TV, so I can't rewind. Just curious!

My controllers, my headset, or my wireless internet connection won't connect to my ps3. And the two lights that flash in front (on the bottom left) that indicate wi-fi (green) and hard disk (yellow) don't flash either. Somebody please tell me what's wrong, or give me some options to fix this. I've had this ps3 since the year it came out and it's never been replaced, this is the first major problem i've had with it.

These are things that I love doing and wouldn't mind doing professionally when I grow up. 1. Writing books 2. Taking photographs 3. Managing websites/blogs (I got 2 - music and photograph blogs) 4. Playing diverse sports (I play tennis, football and basketball frequently. I can play badminton and swim as well) 5. Being a teacher isn't a bad idea 6. I do well in languages so I could be a translator. Portuguese as first language, speak fluent English and basic French + basic Spanish of course. 7. DJ 8. He falls in love with one of the girls there, and ends up helping fight with the good guys. He is based off of the Harry Potter character, Draco. I need a name for him based off of that. I have a 5 year old bengal that I love very much. There are no other pets in our home. I work most days of the week and often feel badly because it seems my cat is bored or unentertained. Sometimes he gets fiesty with me and bites or scratches me. Sometimes when I go to leave the house he viciously attcks me by grabbing my legs and biting me. I know it seems strange to think a cat could impede me from leaving, but it can. I have pleanty of toys and cat trees for him. Ive contemplated getting another cat for him to play with, but im concerned because of my cats special diet and also the expenses associated with taking on another animal. Is it possible my cat is happy? I can live with the situation as it is if my cat is happy. I just want my kitty to be as happy as possible. Other than getting another animal or quitting my job, does anyone have any suggestions to improve the quality of my cats life? Do any bengal owners experience this? Any help or suggestions are seriously valued

*I'm posting this in the Philosophy section because people are smart here.* First off, I never do this. I never post revealing rants about my life on the internet and normally ignore people who do. But right now I have a lot of things going on in my head and no one to communicate with. I'm sorry if it's too long or self-indulgent, but there are things I need to say and which I need help in figuring out. If you're going to respond, please, please read through to the end. Anyway, here's my blind stab for help. This is my situation: I'm 18 and right now a freshman at college. I haven't been here long, but already I know I can't stay here. I'll explain. I've been through some pretty bad depression in my life, stemming back from as early as when I was in 6th grade, and it was particularly difficult when I was in high school. I never had friends, was often very lonely, and was always, always bored. I toughed it out though, because I was hoping that when I got to college, things would change. I was hoping people would be more interesting, more diverse, and that I would have an all-around better experience. However, when I was a senior in high school, I put very little effort into choosing the right college and am now paying the repercussions. You see, I matriculated at a Catholic college where the student body is composed fully of affluent, materialistic people with heavily superficial personalities. There are not many anomalies as it pertains to that description. Very few are intellectually curious, and even fewer are passionate about what they're being taught. It doesn't help that my two of three roommates are athletes who, I'm confident, have never read a book in their lives. My whole being swells with hatred every time I see them. Plain and simple, I need to transfer. Some other things have also augmented my depression as well. For example, someone very close to me committed suicide last month, and, although it's hard for me to talk about, I will say that it has affected me profoundly and gotten me thinking about the levity, precariousness and absurdity of life--so much so that I become suicidal myself at times. Moreover, this person was also the smartest human being I've ever met. And since her death, it's forced me to reflect on what seems like a very painful truth: Profound intelligence begets profound unhappiness. In other words, all insight into the conditions of this planet culminate in a piercing sense of melancholy. I mean, are all half-way intelligent humans destined to be lonely, miserable animals in this cold, indifferent universe? I think about this and immediately I start to feel the crushing smallness and meaninglessness of my being here and I start feeling so infinitely sad about everything. I think about all the uncertainties in my life, all the directions I can go with it, could have gone with it, never will go with it; all the people I could have met but never did, could meet but never will; all the moments and situations that may or may not arise in the future (most of which never will).... I think about how uncertain and fortuitous everything is in my life and I want so badly to just get it right. But the more I try, the more I'm paralyzed by all the uncertainty and the more I founder and crumble. I'm afraid to do anything because no matter what I do, I'll always think about all the other directions I could have taken with my life. And what's more is that I look at how ephemeral my time here is. It makes me think of a quote from this book I like called Speak, Memory: "The cradle rocks above an abyss, and common sense tells us that our existence is but a brief crack of light between two eternities of darkness." That's how I feel. I feel like my life is just a brief crackle of warmth, soon to die out and be lost forever and ever. And it makes me so desperately anxious to try to make everything right. But I can't take all the freedom and all the uncertainty. I carry this sense of lostness everywhere I go. I feel it when I'm with my family, with my 'friends', everyone. At home, at school, in a crowd, alone in my room. Always, always I feel this gnawing, burning sensation down in the pit of my stomach, like I'm being continually swallowed by a dark and expanding abyss, or like I'm constantly missing someone I've never met. I'll try to wrap this up a bit, because it's getting kind of long. Here is where I'm at: I'm in my first semester at a college I hate. I'm trying desperately to get and maintain a 4.0 so I can transfer to a college I would like. It gets hard, though, when I feel so distracted by all the depression. I'm thinking maybe I should come home to Long Island (where I live) for my second semester and go to Hofstra University. Then I can transfer to, like, Boston University or somewhere better for my sophomore year. I could get a job at home and would not have to live with people I loathe so entirely. I don't know what to do though. Help would be appreciated.

I've got really long and curly lashes only on ONE eye. The other eye just has long lashes too, but they're straight. This makes my face look really asymmetrical and like I've got a droopy, tired eye on one side (the one with curled lashes obviously makes that eye look more awake). I permed my lashes before, about a month ago, and I've tried going back to the salon to get them straightened but they said they do not offer such a service. In fact I've tried other salons, (I'm from Singapore) and they all tell me there's no such thing as eyelash straightening: I did research on uncurling lashes previously, and people mention to go back to where you permed your lashes to unperm it) it looks extremely uneven, and I'm not keen on having to going back to perm the other eye with uncurled lashes. I want them both straight as I'm still schooling, so having them straight will save me the hassle of answering questions of why my lashes are only curly on one side etc. Any possible way to make the curled eyelashes uncurl? Just anything to do to straighten them out PERMANENTLY!

I have two dogs, brother and sister turning 4 years old this year. When I go to work I give them the upper part of the house which has plenty of room for them to run around and play. They seem to go through periods of pooping in the house and periods where they're good so I'm completely at a loss as to why they do it. I've tried letting them know in a harse tone that it's bad when they do it, I've tried placing their faces close to it (not in it) but it doesn't seem to help. It's obvious that they know they've done a bad thing because normally when they're good they greet me at the gate to the upstairs when I get home but if they've pooped they're as far as they can possibly be from the gate. I have no idea if it's just one of them or both and not sure if it's a case of upset stomach, separation anxiety or what. Any help would be appreciated.
