Hey I'm Novalee, I'm 21 and pretty much new to this but here goes. I've just become a mummy to twin girls, They were born August 18th through an scheduled c-section at 38 weeks and 4 days. On the Wednesday I visited my regular OB, who (finally) convinced me to have a planned c-section instead of holding out for vaginal birth. And on the Thursday morning I went into the hospital to have my babies!! I was excited and scared. I don't even like to think about surgery, much less have it done on me. The whole thing was fine. The delivery went well and my daughters are now 27-days-old and truly amazing. Evelyn Willow was born first at 10.36 am, weighing 5lb 11oz. Her sister Ava Juliette was delivered at 10.43 am, weighing a little less then her sister at 5lb 8oz. My girls went to the regular nursery, but when they had to give them sugar water (for low blood sugar) they coudn't get the hang of breathing and sucking at the same time, so it was off to NICU. By the next morning, I was walking down to nurse/visit and they weren't having any more problems remembering to breathe. I went home Saturday afternoon with my girlies. Willow & Ava are identical and truly perfect. I can't believe that these two little people were inside my belly for almost 39 weeks! That's a little bit about my labour, whats yours? I'm trying to gain as many mothers' feedback, as is possible. I think delivery is amazing and I would love to know how yours went. Even if your still pregnant, whens your due date? Are you excited etc. Feel free to share any stories!

I have adopted a pet skunk, he is still young. The previous owner thought that he was not doing well there because he was always hiding and shy. I only had him for about three days but I am wondering if this is common and what should I do? When I hold him he tries to hide his head in my arm or anywhere he can. Is this typical in the beginning or do you think he is sick? He will only come out at the early early morning to eat. Please help

For the last couple of weeks I feel sick mostly all of the time! even if i eat or don't eat in the morning i get terrible nausea, i also feel get spells during the day lasting over an hour. also the thought of some foods make me feel so sick (foods i used to like) i also have been experiencing spells of being extremely tired to the point where it is very difficult to keep my eyes open! I also have horrible tasting saliva for the last three weeks (ish)... anybody know what could be causing all this? (not sure if they are all related or not?)

I am going to build a 10 foot deck over a roofed storage area. I want to install 12 " @4 foot deep concrete peers every 8 foot - then a grade beam across the peers to support a 2x6 @16" support stud wall with the 2x10 x 10' rafters resting on top for the deck- no cantilever- the span for the grade beam will be 8 foot with maybe a 2 foot cantilever at both ends?((or not, I need to span 4 peers) what size beam do I need- I was thinking a 6x8 pt timber- the roof will probably be balloon framed off of the stud wall below the deck rafters

The influences we have through media, people around us. You know like the need for reassurance and attention and any obsessions we might have. Well im making a homemade water pipe and the flame lighter burns the coal, and the coal is on a glass bowl, and that glass bowl goes into a glass pipe about 3 inches long. And at the end of that is where i will add the clear vinyl tubing down to the bottom of the vase so i can lower the water level. do you think this is safe? the lighter will not be on for like 20 seconds. and also the glass bowl will take the brunt of the heat dont you think? do you think it is safe to smoke thru a clear vinyl tube? Everything else is glass! Thanks guys! all i know rite now is that a bic lighters flame is around 3590 degrees Ferenhieght and that the clear vinyl tube probably can't take much more than 70 degrees celcius idk how much ferenhight. But i mean the heat should be greatly reduced after going thru 3 inches of glass with the bowl taking the brunt of the heat. If anybody knows the math for this kind of stuff that would be wonderful you smart genious you

I'm a 21 year old female & I've been told I have the perfect hourglass figure. My bust is 36", waist is 30'', hips are 42''. I have no self confidence whatsoever, I always wear big hoodies, big trousers & I refuse to leave the house without at least eyeliner on. Me and my partner have had some horrific arguements over this, for example his mum gave me a skirt which i felt ridiculous in. My partner wanted a picture of me in it and the camera is my worst enemy so i hid away. and now he's extremely upset, i want to be more confident and i have tried my hardest in the past but always failed. i'm a grown woman now & i want to feel good about myself. any help is welcome, a**holes will be reported.

I have a 1984 Chevy Van ( G10 305 Engine) Usually cranks right over. Except sometimes after I've been driving for a while and I stop at a gas station for example. When I go to start the engine it won't crank over. Acts like the battery is dead. But it's not. The battery is good & the alternator is charging. If I wait about 10 to 15 minutes it will start back up again. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

I have a coworker who just came in after a month of chickenpox. He says his doctor told him that he is "cleared" and there are very little signs of chickenpox on him. I am very scared I might get it. I had chickenpox when I was little, (like 10), What are the chances for me to get it? Will I? I talked to him for a twice few minutes but I didnt do any physical contact. Im getting paranoid. :(

My check engine light has been on for a while, I bought the car used and it had the catalytic converter stolen before I bought it so the dealer replaced the converter and the O2 sensor. But the check engine light has been on for a while now and I went to Auto Zone and had them check it and it said "catalytic converter failure" "oxygen sensor failure" something like that. And I told the guy that the dealer fixed it and he said maybe the dealer didn't erase the codes. So I asked if he could but he said he couldn't but if I disconnect the negative battery terminal and left it for like 30 min it would clear it. I want to know if the catalytic converter and o2 sensor are bad so if I reset the codes and they are bad will the check engine light still come on? or will it stay off regardless, because I need to know.
