Well the story of my martial art career is that when I train, my coach and training partners always tell me that Im good and talented, they always help and push me, giving me extra attention. They brag me to others, my coach telling how good I am to his former training partners and colleagues. Training partners telling about me to their family, like Im surprised when I met them they knew my name..A friend skipped work just to accompany me on a tournament, he is our team's chiropractor. However for every tournament I have participated in, I havent won not even once, not even a match. The last opponent I fought was a 17 yr old kid(im 20), who didnt dominated me, but basically beat me to it.. like he exposed the hole in my game, and I lost. I feel so disgusted about myself because my coach, training partners/friends, parents are always expecting me to have a breakthrough. And then when I look at it.. that 17 yr old that beat me won the tournament. Its like when it is about me theres all this potential but no signs of success, in training yes but not in competition. I have participated in 3 tournaments and I lost all of them in the first round. Im sick of hearing 'theres always next time'. I havent had my hand raised.. how do I deal with this?

i've heard in excess about the stereotype that all black people like fried chicken, watermelon and kool-aid yet i don't really understand how it is offensive from my personal experiances i have never met a human being that doesn't like fried chicken or watermelon (give or take kool-aid) can the potential answerers to this question explain this to me how is it offensive? what are the implications? p.s i've been to kfc alot in the past 3 months mostly for lunch and have NEVER seen a racial minority anywhere near there always packed full of whites, reds n' olives

I am a Canadian Citizen who has been educated up to masters in Australia, I have also worked in the insurance industry for 4months on a contract at one of Australia's largest banks, I am looking to come back home and want to move back to canada, I am 25 and have very little industry experience, although I have been working in a family business for 5 years that exports a lot of products overseas but want to move into my field of finance any help would be appreciated.

So I HAVE had a asthma attack when I was younger but never had one since. But when I scream/ yell when I am running I start to have shortness of breath and I start to wheeze. I don't own a inhaler because it wasn't a severe asthma attack. Is it normal to get shortness of breath and wheeze when you have asthma? And should I get an inhaler to help the wheezing.. ? Also, does this mean I can't do a lot of running ?

So yesterday a woke up with a sore throat. This morning it was gone but everytime I breathe through my mouth normally I have this terrible urge to cough. Not when I breathe through my nose though. My throat hurts on the left side like something is there when I breathe in. It doesn't hurt to swallow. I'm not sick. No temp. It's a really dry cough. Totally came out of nowhere. I have asthma and allergies so im thinking maybe it's that? Idk any ideas?

I've been having some trouble recently on my writing, when lamenting to a friend about this she advised me that i redeem the time and write an autobiography. My life has been fairly cultural. I am Half American and half Singaporean and was born in America but at the age of 2 left to Main Land China. I've lived there for my entire childhood and teenage hood with six of my eight brothers and sisters. I'm the second youngest and i have quite a few stories i think might be interesting. I hear that China is the new 'hot spot' in the world and my friends and family encourage me saying people would be interested in this life story. I'm not quite sure if that's true... Would you be interested to read it? The way it will be written will probably be aiming for a YA audience and more humorous. Tell me what you think. :) tks

Hey everyone i was kinda wondering if i could get in legal trouble for this.. I'm a 17 year old exchange student in Arizona and about 5 months ago my 19 yer old friend asked me if i would like to have a threesome with our 16 year old friend.. i kind of thought he joked so i just played along.. he kept saying he was progressing so i hesitated.. but i realised that the age of consent in arizona was different of my home country so i ultimately said no.. I got worried after that so i told my 16 year old friend about it, that i thought he was kind of joking and that i said no because it would be weird (kind of explained it) she thought he was joking aswell but she said she was fine with it... Now could i ultimately get in any legal trouble for him asking her? could i be charged with solicitation, conspiracy to commit or something like that? i'm really worried about getting arrested for this even though i said no? is there no way? Personally I think both Posada and Jeter are getting too old and slow to be making the money they are making. But why was Posada moved to the bottom of the lineup when Jeter was allowed to stay at the number 2 spot when he's not hitting either (and hasnt been for awhile)? The Yankees make some terrible decisions, handing out tons of cash to Arod, Jeter, Posada, Chamberlin, Swisher, when they arent producing enough to justify it.

I broke up with my girlfriend last week, thought it was mutual (we love each other very much). so theirs nothing in life i want more to become a lawyer, its what i want to do. but the problem is, most of my life ive fucked up, ok im 19 years old, and i dont have a highschool diploma, or ged, also, i have 1 misdomeaner charge on my record, which is brandishing a replica gun. but im tired of being a fuck up, i wanna get my highschool diploma, and start out with some comminty collage courses, tha being said, is it possible that i can become a lawyer? and if so, what degree should i work on getting before law school, and what classes should i take my first 2 year of comminuty collage? any advice or insight would help, i just wanna know what it takes, and if i can still clean up my act and do this, i need advice and help, please, any lawyers out their, it would be greatly apreciated...

i have an iod touch 3G and a sony vaio laptop. whenever i want to use wifi on my ipod i just create an ad hoc connection from my lptop. it worked for a week or so, and then i started getting a 169 ip address on my ipod. i tried it with 2 different internet connections, but both had the same problem. how do i resolve this? thanx!

I've caught her staring at me a couple of times, shes my age. At a play audition, she sat next to me (note I don't know her and she had friends in the area but she just decided to sit with me). She came up to me and asked if I minded of she sat with me. Does she like me? I don't know, when she sat with me she didn't exactly look at me. *shrug* What does that mean?
