Hey, my birth name is Sarah Elizabeth, and I really can't stand it. Both names are much too common and I don't want to be "just another." I'm getting baptized this summer and changing my first name to Siraya, which I like a lot better. I can't think of a middle name and it's driving me crazy. I would like the last name to be starting with H if at all possible and ending with -a. Please help and give any ideas possible on the subject! Thank you!!!

Im havin trouble in completing my homework but i was able to figure out the others. the things i have are: *Infrared spectrum= absorption - bond 3000 - O-H 1750 - C=O 1700 - C=O *N.m.r spectrum= Chemical shift - relative no. of protons - type of proton 2.2 - 3 - c 7.5 - 4 - b 11.3 - 1 - a *mass spectra= mass of peak - mass lost - atom/group lost - identity of fragment 180 - none - none - C9 H8 O4 138 - 42 - ? - ? 120 - 60 - C2 H4 O - C7 H4 O2 43 - 137 - C2 H3 O - H4 O COOH As you can see, I was able to work out everything except two questions from the mass spectra. I would really appreciate it if anyone of you could help me with this. Thanks in advance!

I mean every guy now that gets a push on the WWE is because he can talk well on the mic good examples are The Miz,Wade Barret etc and while they are good wrestlers some other guys in the WWE that have more talent than then are not getting a push because they are not good on the mic Justin Gabriel,Daniel Bryan and the list goes on. The bottom line is that the WWE shouldn't waste these good talents so if they cant do much on the mic they should just give them a manager that way the can still be used what your opinion?

I am a 17 year old guy, and am moving in two weeks, and yesterday in class I mentioned to my friend that I was sad to be moving away to college, as my best buddy is not attending. When I said 'best buddy', my friend reacted as though he thought I meant him, and when he reacted I said "I didn't mean you." (Dumbass thing for me to say, I agree), and then he was clearly hurt, placing his head down on his desk for a couple of seconds, and so I felt pretty bad. Here's the general gest of our conversation. Me: I'm going to miss my best buddy. Friend: We can still hang out whenever I'm in town. Me: I didn't mean you. (Awful thing to say, I know, it was just reaction.) Friend: (Head down on desk.) Me: Oh, you thought I was calling you my best friend? Friend: Yes. Me: Um..I've always considered (so-and-so) my best buddy.. Friend: Does he go to Subway with you? Does he hang out with you? Do you guys get into 10 min. fits of laughing? Me: Sometimes 20 minute fits of laughing, actually. Friend: Screw you. So I felt bad and the next day texted my friend, apologizing for embarrassing him, and saying he is my best buddy, but I received no response. Why is this? Did he think we were best friends? I'll be seeing him on Sunday, and I feel really bad about what I did. I plan on making an apology to him, maybe saying "I don't know if you got my text the other day, but sorry about embarrassing you in class like that. I didn't mean what I said, and you are my best buddy." What I'm wondering is: 1) For him to react that way, did he think we were best friends? 2) Why was he so embarrassed when I said the other guy was my best buddy? 3) Is this a good apology? Let me put it in a way even the dumbest con can understand: When you give tax breaks to the rich, more money is "given them". More money in the economy= bigger economy. Bigger=/=Better. When the rich get their tax breaks, then the rich get the biggest benefit. The answer? Strict Progressive Tax.

When I was 15, I was drugged and raped by a senior. It was at an all girls sleepover and one girl invited her boyfriend and then he invited his friends. He gave me a soda and slipped drugs into it. He raped me that night. When he held me down, I started crying and couldn't fight back because of the drugs. He then punched me and threatened to tell everyone in school and my parents that I was a whore. My family is very Catholic and out of fear that they would know of my debasement, I never told anyone. But, two weeks later, I found out he told one of his friends. His friend threatened to tell my parents of my "whoring" if I didn't sleep with him. I struggled but his friend held me down and did the same thing. I started drinking and have felt so horrible the last three years. I got a boyfriend recently and he is so so so nice to me. I told him of my past and my struggle with it, but he told me "there's no point in crying over spilled milk." I don't think he was being rude, he just didn't know what to respond really. But I really really struggle with it and cannot get intimate because of it. Please give me advice on what I should to and what I should say to my bf to help him understand. I desperately need this solace.

I used to go out a lot with friends and i sometimes went to parties... etc. Now, as i get older, i take my education more seriously and it feels like i never have any freedom. Also, all my friends are really busy with their part-time jobs (I don't have one yet) and so there's no one really to hang out with anyways. I feel alone... every weekend :( I think it's affecting my social skills too, I've noticed I'm a little more shy now... ugh!

Horror movies or just learning gorey stuff (like when we learned about the donar<-typo?, in social studies) make my stomach feel sick, but I find it sort of interesting at the same time. There are times where me and my boyfriend are arguing either on the phone and in person.. Sometimes he will say something really mean and i will start to tear... i get sad that he will just sit there and ignore me.. It hurts me. I live in Texas where it's getting to be 100 degrees every day. I have a dog but he stays in a cage in the garage all day. My parents won't let me let him out cuz he digs holes, and they won't let him in the house because he sheds too much. Nothing I say is changing their minds. I go to school and they go to work so he basically lives in that cage in the hot, dark garage all day. Sometimes I can get him outside, get him water but when we run out of food for him it's forever before we get more. Right now it's day 2 without food.and I can't even give him people food cuz they say he'll throw it up. I've tried talking to them countless times about just giving him away if we can't take care of him, but all they do is say okay and act like our conversation never happened. I don't know what to do to help him any more than I am. :'(
