Would it be weird for me to wear my cowboy boots underneath the cap and gown for graduation? I'm just most concerned that the gown will be really long and it would look weird? Really want to wear them just don't know how silly it'd look=p -Thanks !

"IQ theory views the racial disparity in crime rates as a result of IQ difference between races. In his book The g Factor (1998), Arthur Jensen cites data which shows that, regardless of race, people with IQs between 70 and 90 have higher crime rates than people with IQs below or above this range, with the peak range being between 80 and 90.[87] Jensen and others have claimed that the average IQ of African Americans is 85, to be compared with 100 for White Americans and 106 for Asian Americans.[88] According to Jensen, when crime rates are compared between races while adjusting for IQ, they are approximately the same. Thus, Jensen proposes, the disparity in crime rates between races can be explained by the proportions of each group with IQs in the range at greatest risk for antisocial behavior." Perhaps the most dramatic example is the Irish Catholics. Even though they come from the same country in Northern Ireland, Irish Catholics score an average of 15 points or lower on IQ tests than English Protestants. I've read similar statements about Italians and Eastern Europeans. Is this why most of the criminals in America are Black, Hispanic and the White Trash Irish and Italians???

I had a car crash yesterday, which i feel was not my fault, and i know i'm lucky to of walked out with one cut. There was a tractor driving very slowly on the road and there was a bit of a straight ahead, so I went to over take it. (road clear, tractor not indicating, 60mph limit, no bend) I pulled out and got to about 40mph and just as my bumper passed the front of the tractor, he suddenly turned right and smashed the front of my car, which sent me straight off the road and along the bank. My front wheels were ripped right off, passenger door severely damaged along with the passenger front panel. The police came and said that i shouldn't have overtaken on a junction and i'm lucky im not in court for it. However, that was NOT a junction, it was a private drive, and everyone who visited the scene agreed. Are they saying you aren't allowed to overtake near someones drive? I haven't had a very big conversation with my insurance company yet, because it's the weekend and claims department is closed, but they sorted me out with a hire car nice and fast. However, they did say that because there are no witnesses they will not be able to fight it. But, if you look at where the damage is on my car. (the side, NOT the front) you can clearly tell that the tractor pulled out into me without checking his mirrors, because otherwise it would be my bonnet which would be smashed in, and not the side. Would i be able to fight this for compensation? im not wanting ''injury compensation'' & extra money on top, i simply want my excess back + the difference between what the insurance said my car is worth, and what it is worth in the real world.

I'm 14 and 5'1" and I have an ugly red-ish stretch mark right below my ribcage. I haven't gained weight or lost any. I've maintained a constant weight for a long time. Why is it there? How can I get rid of it? Please help? I really want to feel comfortable with my body this summer! thanks! P.S. I have stomach hairs that are really noticeable, what should I do?

She walks fairly well, however she does pull a little bit, but not too strongly. I am trying the tree method - I stop moving until she slackens the leash. I've only had her for a week and it seems to work a little bit but the habit isn't completely kicked. I think with time she will learn to walk by my side.. but the real problem is that when we walk by fences or really close to people with other dogs she goes nuts trying to run and play with them. How can I teach her to be calm when I'm walking her even if she sees other dogs?

I don't know where to start and I feel like time is running out. I am an Au Pair right now in Germany, and I have always loved it here. I am origianlly from the U.S, but spent my childhood in München. Now I am back for a few months, but would really love to live here, and do an apprenticeship in Bayern. I feel like I am going about it the wrong way though. I have done research on WGs (Wohnunggemeinschaften) and looked for places where I could do an apprenticeship next year in March. But I really need some advice and tips, in order to make my plans concrete. This is so important to me. But I feel so confused and don't know where to start... So If anyone has any advice to give me as for making a portfolio, or where I could go for work... etc. Please let me know!!! Thank you in advance!

I was on a message board the other day, and one topic came up: "How many people have you kissed?" People started giving their numbers, and someone in the middle said that pecks don't count, only making out or French kisses. To me, it counts as long as it meant something - wasn't just a casual friend kiss, or a peck on the cheek between acquaintances. I don't see why tongues have to be involved to consider it a real kiss. So why do people think this?

So I'm 18 years old and doing community college for 2 years to get my business associate's degree. Initially I was going to attend a University but due to our economic situation, this was my only option regarding school. I also live with my grandparents, because their home is next to the best CC for my major choice (Eventually I'm going to transfer to a 4-year college). But it's been almost a year and I've made absolutely no friends.. just the day-to-day small talk. Although I'm trying not to feel sorry for myself because I hate that, it's sort of inevitable when all you have in your life is your grandparents, a full-time job, and lots of studying. Could anyone help me figure out how to meet friends, find a way to look past this, or basically anything that would make me feel better that would me great. Thanks.

For a while now, when I go on youtube or any other video player to watch a video. It wont let me see the video in full screen. We were at the movies, and I bought my girlfriend a HUGE drink. When we were walking home, I noticed she was walking funny so I asked her if she had to go to the bathroom. She looked so desperate, so I told her it was okay if she went right there. She asked me not to look, so I turned away, but the sound of the warm, yellow liquid just excited me for some reason and I peeked. She got really embarrassed and we had an awkward walk home.....but thinking about it makes me excited for some reason. Is this bad? What should I do? This was last night, she hasn't called me today.....
