I've noticed that through our most troubled and most triumphant of times, humanity has survived great problems and events and has arrived at where we are today. Recently, I noticed the pastor Harold Camping in the news, claiming "The Rapture", before being proved to be quite the loony bin when nothing happened. So I want to know what you think of humanity? If there is/isn't a God, in your opinion. I want to know what your belief is in humanity and what you believe our sole reason for existance on this Earth is and what hope you have for us a species. It can be a divine experience answer or it can be an answer lacking spiritual enlightenment. Whatever you want. I want to know your reasons for believing humanity will still exist further down the line or why it won't. Cynics and otherwise, go!

so every year i pass with great grades at skl and so i did this tear :D:D:D:D:D and dad offered me every year's gift and told me think till 300 dollars so what should i get? i have a laptop.. a cellphone that's not so great.. i had an mp4 before but it broke then i got another one and it was screwed up so i don't think of getting an ipod coz i 'm not lucky with them i'm 14 years old girl :) any suggestions? day 1- arms/chest/back etc. (45 minutes) day 2-legs 45 min. of quads and hamstrings. About an hour later 10 minutes of calves day 2- core 10 minutes (rest day) repeat. male.

Hi, I'm looking for some personal input from the community. I am 23 years old and having 13 molars pulled, keeping my front teeth top & bottom and getting partials. The appointment is on a saturday morning, 10:30 am to get knocked out and 11:30 for the extractions. I have had teeth extracted before but never had more than 1 at a time. I'm wondering about swelling, bruising, if my face shape will change at all. I know about drinking/eating/smoking cigarettes.

If a man has multiple personality disorder/ schizophrenia (I'm a horrible speller so please don't bash my spelling.) and one personality believes in God and accepts Christ, but another rejects Christ, would this person go to Heaven? Please don't say because he's "special" he's automatically going to Heaven. The Bible says man must accept Christ, but if they deny, they are damn. It doesn't say "oh, but if you have a mental disability, you're in free."

I want to join the military when i graduate college so I'm trying to learn how to shoot effectively. I'm relatively new to shooting rifles and I'm saving up to buy a Colt AR-15 SP1 to practice my shot. I have a few questions: - Is 1100 dollars a fair price for the rifle, 6 mags, and 210 rounds of ammo? - What do you know about the quality of this rifle? I've been told it is the best AR-15 - Is it a good gun to learn how to shoot on? - Any suggestions for other rifles that are great for beginning shooters?

When pulling up on the window switch that operates the window it doesn't make a sound and the window will not budge. Before I spend money on a motor and regulator replacement (and take every thing apart.. ugh) should I check for a blown fuse first? It's the fuse box in the cab to the left of the steering column but which fuse is it? They aren't labeled.

I dropped my ipod touch 3g in water for like 2 seconds and nothing would work for a while. Then I put it in rice which turned out to be orzo, overnight. So when I woke up in the morning and found out it was orzo i changedd it to rice and left it in there for 2 days. After 2 days I picked it up and the buttons worked, but the touch screen didn't. So for like 2 weeks I left it in my ihome dock, every once in a while checking it. Finally after 2 weeks the tpuch screen worked. This is where I am now and these r the problems. 1. When i click on the games they instantly close. 2. The screen is dark and won't get brighter. 3. Thw wi-fi says no wi-fi so to change that i reset all network settings and now my music is gone and it still says no wi-fi. What should I do?

Why would a guy still be nervous around me if I already asked him if he could see himself with me and he said he didn't feel anything for me but over more "interactions" things could possibly change? I'm okay just being his friend, we are in grad school together, but it bothers me that he is still nervous around me, especially if we are in a group setting (he fidgets a lot, doesn't look at me, avoids me and has this twitch he does that no one other than me has seen). I am not imagining things and I would assume that if he doesn't want anything to do with me because things are awkward between us he would just not want to hang out anymore, which he still insits he does. I don't mean like in Elections, I mean at their campaigns, at their rallies. The other day the Tea Party leader from the Mid West was on TV Talking about how dissappointed the Tea partiers were with the New House Voting to continue Tax Subsidies going to Big oil. He said the tea party was upset that the houes has voted to continue funding Ethanol subsidies. He said He personally was not happy that Mitt Romney Passed Healthcare In Mass... Yet the Tea party will not say anything about that, they just want to keep directing the anger at Obama. Until Recently I had truly thought the tea party was a Non partisan Right leaning organization. But It seems that if Republicans are not doing right, and they wont speak out against them, their true motivation is just to oppose Barack Obama. It's not even about Democrats and Republicans. It's just about Defeating Democrats. You can't be against something, but let it slide because your friend is doing it. Their showing favoritism to Republicans.. All that means for the United States, is that if Another Republican win's in 2012.. And things get bad again, like they did in Bushes second term.. The Country will just go to hell again in flames and the Republicans / Tea party will support them no matter what.. Take Mitt Romeny for example. He is a Liberal Republican.. Atleast Obama stands behind his Legislation. Do you think anyone would vote for Obama if came out and said he was wrong about the war? If he was wrong about taking Bin Laden out? Who in their right mind would vote for him? Yet the Tea party will vote for Romney, a man who runs from his own record. Sad I mean it's pretty clear, the Tea party just wants to turn the country into a right wing country. That's it.

Okay so my boyfriend has Spina Bifida myelomeningocele with hydrocephelus and he had a vp shunt. Sorry if I misspelled any of that. But anyways, so I was wondering, even though I have many years until I get married, I was wondering if that effects his ability to have sex? He's fully mobile on his own and extremely healthy. He gets surgery every four years, but I was just wondering what else I have to look forward to in our future. And yes, I do intend to wait until we're married to do anything of the sorts. Just curious.

So I have this application form and the first page confuses me. There is a box that says "Please return to:" and I don't know if I have to fill it out or someone else does, and what do I even put in there? Then there is a slimmer box underneath saying Position applied for, which has already been filled out in type saying sales assistant. Then there are two other boxes of the same size saying Location and Closing date. Do I need to fill these out? If so, how? What does it mean and how am I meant to know the closing date? Thanks :]

hi! By the end of my senior year, I will have taken 6 ap classes. I've always wanted to go to UGA since last year but what does it mean by the term credit hours? For example, on the UGA website, it said that if I got a 5 on the AP English Language and Composition, it is equivalent to an ENGL 1101 (3 credit hours), ENGL 1102 (3 credit hours). Does that mean that I get to exempt those two classes? Hey I'm a teen looking for a job, and so I applied online to stop and shop and well....when I click submit I just go back to beginning. Not the beginning with the question, but that part where I want an application in English or Spanish. I don't know if it went through, but if usually when you submit stuff like applications... isn't there a confirmation saying 'thank you' for applying and what not? I did this twice, and the second time the same thing happened. Either I sent the app twice or not at all...
