so i'm in my mid-20s, and i keep trying to do "non-boring" stuff... --hike --scuba --surf --skydive --shoot guns --travel --spear fish --skateboard --job (to pay for all of the above) but i still have few friends (since i'm usually moving around) and even fewer gf's. it can get quite depressing, which usually drives to take riskier, and riskier things (shark cage diving in hawaii, riding a motorcycle) b/c if no one wants to hang out with me, well, i might as well lead a cool life, right?

sorry this is random & weird. my bro (14) is getting circumcised on monday (medical reasons, ouch, lol), and i just overheard my mom talking with him in the kitchen about post-op stuff. i heard her explain that he can't masturbate for like 5 weeks (that sucks, lol). ok, so, i had a surgery last year, and he pulled a prank on me beforehand. i want to use what i overheard to pull a prank on him. maybe i could mark on his calendar in some way, or put a note in his room about blue balls. lol. i dunno. i know this is weird, but help me out ... best idea gets 10 pts!!!

My friend and this guy were dating. I am 14. She is 12 and he is 15. I feel like hes using her, but i dont know how to tell her without her getting mad. He was her first make out. Hey! I'm from Canada, and have lived here all my life (in Calgary, Alberta). Basically, I really hate it here. I've travelled throughout canada and the only place I think I might like is Vancouver (which I don't really remember much since the last time I've been there was when I was pretty small). Anyway, I don't like Canada because its way too boring and cold most of the year. I love a place with loads of natural beauty; yet a certain edge to the people/lifestyle. I'm sick and tired of seeing prairies and rocky mountains. Two places that really interest me, are Los Angeles and New Orleans. I feel like i really like certain qualities about both places, yet the negatives outweigh the positives so I still can't move to either one of them. Los angeles looks amazing, the beaches, lifestyle, but the over-population doesn't work for me... then I really started getting into the south; I don't know much about the other places in the south (but I'd love to), I've looked into New Orleans... and when I see it, it just really feels like home to me (atleast from what I see). The oceans, seafood, beautiful bayous, etc.. But when I see how amazing Louisiana looks, I just can't help but also see how the place just looks too gloomy and depressing, and all the voodoo and mysticism... I can't live in a place like that. New York just isn't even remotely practical... I want to live in a house not apartment, and that too in a nice neighborhood where I can drive my car and actually be close to downtown. I really find myself loving the south... So many things about it just make me want to move there and call it home, after I finish college. It's just that the places SEEM too much like small towns. I really hope you get what I'm saying.... I need to know of a city/state you'd recommend after having read what I want/don/t want. I need a place that can just complement life and help make it so much better, not bring you down- or limit your possibilities.

For the last couple of months I have been having chest pains every day and night. I've also had migraines every night. My mom refuses to take me to the doctor because she believes that it is anxiety due to me being stressed a lot. She's talked her friend that's a doctor who told her about the anxiety. But having them for 5 months straight is starting to worry me. Could this be something else?

I asked a question last month about my reputation if I were sued and found that colleges would only know if I told them (Made me feel better). I don't plan on being a lawyer, in case your wondering. But I ask whether a top college would find this somewhat dramatic event during one of my summer's interesting? Please give me your full honest opinion. Thank you.

I have heard a lot of negativity about having this as a major, but I have been thinking about it for a good while now. It's really interesting and it seems fun! But I don't want to be a teacher or professor or a stereotypical "philosopher." I want to have a "normal" job, business-related, probably, but I don't want to go for a business degree because everyone's getting them. Does that make sense? Would I be able to get a "normal" job with a philosophy degree?

[ Injuries ] Open Question : Broken ankle pain..? Help?

I broke my ankle last week and just got the cast put on. I'm taking prefixed for the pain but my ankle ilstill constantly throbs. I don't want to take stronger meds, any suggestions on what I can do for the pain? I am having a hard time sleeping too due to the pain.

m using canon 550 D with kit 18-55mm kit lenses now i m in plan of purchasing macro lenses ( best no matter with cost ) suggest a best lens as I required the longer working distance ( i think i should say i need a good focal length ) lens which focus continuously from infinity to 1:1 , great Depth of field , etc please suggest

[ Mathematics ] Open Question : A question for people who took geometry of some sort?

I just came out of a 9th grade honors geometry class (which was super hard!) and I just wanted to know if anyone else did c problems? The book I had was a little hard back orange book that I think was a kind of old series. I don't know the maker, as I am out of school. What I mean by c problems are, in the homework part of each section there were two pages of problems labeled easiest to hardest, a-c. My teacher would make us pick ,for example, 3 c problems out of 10 specific ones he chose out of the chapter to do on a test. So we got the exact problems with hints but for a non genius they are still really hard. They were very complicated and make us combine different techniques we just learned. Did anyone else have to do this, test or not? Or have you heard of these problems. My teacher was the only teacher who gave us these problems btw which wasn't fair. They were a big part of my semester grade that I didn't sign up for. He only did it to challenge us, not to teach us anything really. They brought my grade down a lot! All he graded was tests and quizzes! Sorry for the rant I guess it wasn't quick and leave an answer!!! Btw i just posted this somewhere else but I wanted it in this section oops :p

I thought we would have got through it, but it turns out he has still be lying to me. Hes got a past, drugs and mixing with the wrong people. by him and he always emphesised hed never lie. When i brought up cheating he got angry because i was asking such a thing. Turns out, after lookin me in the eye more than once saying hed never lie about anything again. He has done. Hes never stopped the drugs and cheated on me. I cant imagine my life without him tho, and it scares me. I dont want i to be the end but could things improve? Thanks for any answers

I have the intex seahawk 2 and I was wondering if I can put a gasoline motor on it? Also, how do I know where it is safe to ride. For example what lakes don't have sharks in them. Also, I was wondering if this boat is only restricted to lakes and ponds? Can I take it in oceans and rives? Thanks
