Last night, I went out for a friend's birthday. I saw someone within the group who caught my eye. He was attractive (to me), tall, very mannered/polite, near his 30's, has his degree and career in check... *Swoon* BUUUUUUT, he has a girlfriend, who was there. He was eliminated in my mind in half a second. I noticed as my friend and I were looking for the birthday girl - he was such a gentleman and grabbed our drinks and left it at the table for us. He was sweet and talked to people. As I was sitting, he would strike up conversation - getting to know me. I made sure I was aware of his gf, "oh i love her dress! your girlfriend's dress right? I was speaking to her earlier and she's so sweet." AND THEN he said this, "I shouldn't be saying this right now and I don't know why I'm telling you but we're going through a bumpy road now... things aren't good." WTF?! My friend/boyfriend saw me and I signaled for them to "save me". When I told them, my friend's boyfriend kept shaking his head saying it wasn't a good thing... and I agree. We noticed that he kept coming by my way throughout the night...I asked my friend's bf why and he just said, "he must really like you." AURGH. I didn't even do anything! First off, why would he be interested if he doesn't really know me and why would he tell me that? (Oh and for the record, I didn't dress or act slutty at all)

I just accidentally clicked the bottom of my computer, which is the bar that has the Google Chrome Logo when you are on it, with the clock and everything, it's at the bottom with the start button, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I just accidentally clicked it and the whole bar moved to the right side of my computer, and I have no idea how to fix it. How do I move the bar at the bottom of my computer back to the bottom??? So my best friend made me a 30" ninja sword (the blade being 30" that is) for my birthday and just gave it to me yesterday (and yes it is awesome). Although he couldn't get me a sheath. So I am wondering where I can get just the sheath for it. It is basically just a plain black design on the handle so really any sheath that's black will do. I've tried looking on the interwebs, but it just seems like I would have to buy a cheap sword just for a sheath that could fit my sword. Thanks

So my bestfriend was texting the girl i really like about 3 months ago when i asked her to prom. He asked her so do you think anything is going to happen between you two at prom(releationship wise). Bow prom was about a month ago but he is telling me this today. He said that she responded with i don't really know or i don't really think so(he doesn't remember which one). My friend seems to think she said that because she doesn't think i'm into her but i seem to think that was her nice way of saying thanks but no thanks. I really like this girl and im pissed my friend was texting her this but i guess its better to know that he did that now because i know shes not interested and also answers why it seemed akward at prom between us. I feel like that sometimes, on my really dark days. I have gone through my challenges in life; alcoholic mother, abusive stepfather, abusive father, and a bi-a-tch of a stepmother. I try to think positive and stay happy but sometimes it is really hard and I tend to get flashbacks of the worst moments of my life, quite often. Worst moments as in finding my mom drunk yet again, police taking me and my brother away from my mom because they thought it was unsafe for us to live with her, my dad getting really mad at me and punched holes into my door then said it was my fault, etc. And I get the flashbacks at the most randomest times like when I had a good day but then I remember these things and I start crying. I feel like despite how happy I can feel, my past will always be there haunting me, telling me that I will never amount to anything. Have you ever felt like that before? If so can you give me advice on how can I overcome it? I am already talking to a psychiatrist but to my parents they think I don't need it because they think I have a good life and that I should be grateful for it. Also to all the religious people who read this. I go to church but I don't like going there. Not because I think it is boring but because the pastor keeps telling us that God is watching out for you, God is always there for you. So my question is if this is true, then why isn't he there when I need him the most. Why did he leave me alone when I was in middle school and taking care of my alcoholic mother and my little brother at the same time! Why was I alone when I lost my home and forced to live with my dad or when I was being yelled at by stepfather because he cannot control his temper! Huh, can you tell me that!

9400Q My computer was working perfectly fine. I played games smoothly (the pc was as it always have been) etc. Then I went to the kitchen to drink some water and when I was back there was no image on the screen and the sound of the computer was changed. I opened it up and saw that CPU fan was not working. GPU fan was working, USB devices had power, but the cpu fan was not working. I was also unable to restart the computer using the restart button but the power button was working (I can turn it on and off) The room has Air Conditioning, if that matters. Why can this be, what should I do?

The Bible claims that it is the inspired and accurate Word of God. Therefore, it is vital that we compare the Scriptural records against the archeological discoveries uncovered at actual sites where many of the thrilling events of the Bible actually occurred. The results of these detailed investigations are available for anyone to examine. The archeological record provides overwhelming confirmation of thousands of detailed statements and facts recorded in the sacred Scriptures. Scholars have not found one single confirmed archeological discovery that absolutely disproves a statement of the Scriptures. To the contrary, as the evidence in The Signature of God reveals, the scholars have discovered literally hundreds of objects, inscriptions, and sites that confirm the accuracy of biblical statements in even unimportant areas. The most important thing for believers in God is that these archeological proofs of scriptural accuracy confirm the accuracy, the inspiration, and the authority of the Word of God. No one should expect that archeology will be able to provide detailed proof of such personal events like the sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham. By their nature, it is unlikely that such events in the lives of private individuals would ever leave any archeological evidence. Most personal events recorded in the Bible would never have left evidence that could be discovered thousands of years later. However, whenever the Bible dealt with the rise and fall of kingdoms, cities, buildings, etc., the spade of the archeologist has been able to discover wonderful confirmation of the truth of Holy Scripture. Only fifty years ago many disbelieving scholars totally rejected the historical accuracy of the Bible because they claimed that the Scriptures talked about numerous kings and individuals that could not be confirmed from any other historical or archeological records. Recent discoveries, however, have shown that they should not have abandoned their faith in the Word of God so easily. If they had only trusted in the truthfulness of the Bible or waited a little longer they would have been rewarded with the recent archeological discoveries that confirm many biblical details, events, and personalities. Recent archeological investigations have demolished the position of those who rejected the biblical account of Israel's kings such as King David. In 1993, archeologists digging at Tel Dan in the Galilee in northern Israel found a fragment of a stone inscription that clearly refers to the house of Davidÿand identifies David as the king of Israel. This is the first inscription outside the Bible that confirms the Bible's statement that David was the king of Israel in the ninth century before Christ. Many Bible critics who had rejected King David as a myth were upset to discover their position could no longer be defended. Some critics suggested that the fragment was a fake. The following summer, two additional fragments of the original inscription were found that provided scholars with the whole inscription, confirming that it referred to David as king of Israel. The Walls of Jericho During excavations of Jericho between 1930 and 1936, Professor John Garstang found one of the most incredible confirmations of the biblical record about the conquest of the Promised Land. The results were so amazing that he took the precaution of preparing a written declaration of the archeological discovery, signed by himself and two other members of his team. As to the main fact, then, there remains no doubt: the walls fell outwards so completely that the attackers would be able to clamber up and over their ruins into the city. This fact is important because the evidence from all other archeological digs around ancient cities in the Middle East reveal that walls of cities always fall inwards as invading armies push their way into a city. However, in the account in Joshua 6:20, we read, the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city every man straight ahead, and they took the city. Dr. Millar Burrows, a professor at Yale University, studied the evidence that indicates the historicity of Abraham and the other patriarchs of Israel as recorded in Genesis. Everything indicates that here we have an historical individual. As noted above, he is not mentioned in any known archaeological source, but his name appears in Babylonia as a personal name in the very period to which he belongs (Millar Burrows, What Mean These Stones?, [New York: Meridian Books, 1956], pp. 258-259). Burrows wrote about the underlying reason most scholars reject the authority of the Bible, The excessive skepticism of many liberal theologians stems not from a careful evaluation of the available data, but from an enormous predisposition against the supernatural. . . . I have a feeling I won't be able to find these animes that I've watched in the past, but its worth a shot to try for possibility. I have about three anime movies that I'm trying to find, I have very vague memory about them. 1) All I remember in one movie is about a guy that got shot (in the back in slow motion) when he came out of a helicopter and his lover cried when he died. He was in a green outfit with the army boots if that helps, and had brown hair and tanned skin. 2) This one I know was scifi-futuristic with a young teen boy. All I remember is a scene where him and some girl where standing around the couch about the kiss each other (with the girl in short shirt and underwear, no it wasn't porn), and then seconds later these policemen looking people were after the boy. But the boy escaped from the policemen by repeatedly kicking them with his feet. He also had brown hair and tanned skin. 3) All I remember in this one was a guy nibbling on some woman"s breast (like the ending part of the movie), and also someone made a dialogue about the computer always having memory no matter how old it is. The key words are that this is anime movie from either the late 80s or early 90s. If anyone can find it, I'll give my special thanks. But if you don't it's ok.

Ok so this morning the day after my missed period I say missed I've had brown spotting on Friday but were due on yest nothing and nor today so I took a test as I've had lots of sighns and symptoms it first came up with a + - btw it was a clearblue plus and this cross means pregnant and i saw it clear as day for about a mintue but then it faided to - - I don't understand :S why has it does this and am I pregnant or not ?
