Dating is so difficult for me being that I'm more attracted to men of other races than mine and everyone assumes that because I am an african american woman that I will be a sterotype and I'm not. I'm the total opposite of the sterotype of a young african american woman and it just messes with my dating life. I don't have a hard time having guys think I'm beautiful but it always seems to go downhill after that. Men of my race always end up acting weird because I'm not really urban and I speak properly and don't listen to r&b or hip hop music while men of other races take longer to ask me out because they want to make sure that I'm not a stereotype. It's all so frustrating. How can I not let this get to me?

I`m 42 weeks, 2 cm dialated, Very tired and uncomfortable, lost my mucus plug like 3 weeks ago, contractions that come and go, alot of backpain for weeks but still not in labour. I have pushed getting induced as long as they would let me. I have an appointment on tuesday to get induced and am terrified since I wanted an all natural birth and no induction. I have tried walking and stairs, sex, squats, accupressure, nipple stimulation and all the other natural stuff I could find online and nothing has worked. Please someone tell me what worked for them! I will try anything at this point to avoid a chemical induction. Please help!

Okay, heres the thing, i used to get drunk and do VERY bad things that i regret. Ill admit. I slept with this guy one time, i KNOW we used a condom but i think for like maybe 30 seconds it was off. Anyway, a week later he texted me and said 'you got diseases' and told everyone i gave him chlamydia/gonorrhea. That was july 2009. This ruined my life! I got urine tested for both those in January 2010, it was negative. Now, im pregnant, got a full std screening, NEGATIVE for chlamydia, gonorrhea (swab test), hiv, syphilis, hepatitis B (blood tests) and whatever else they tested for. Ive been with the same man since December 2009. Im clean right? Or can they go undetected? or can they just go away by themselves? False negatives? Why would he say i gave him that if I NEVER HAD IT? This seriously ruined my rep. everyone thinks ive got all kinds of STDs now. I dont even want to go out in public anymore because of this! In school people would seriously CLAP at me cause of this stupid rumor.

So i use to be so fat but i lost a lot of weight while i was growing tall on my hip and up and i know people say if you have fat on a certain area it doesn't hurt as much and my hips have a lot of fat on the side and a little in the back near the hip. Lets say around both of my hips. ( a 360 around starting at my hips should i get one on the my back next to my left hip or should i get one near my shoulder on the back (that part has a little fat i could feel my bones? And im sure i could tell the tattoo artist to do a dry run on that area i want to get the feeling but i just wanna get advise first. And how much is a tattoo usually ?

I left Sudocream on my face over this spot I have earlier, I think I may left it on too long. Now my skin has dried up on one area and it really red. It sting when I apply any form of cream, especially E45 it burns so bad that I cannot bare it. What should I do? My mum says it may be exma.. However I am not sure. I read an article about Autism (my brother is autistic and my nephew has Autistic tendencies, so I was researching it) and it had a link to a "self evaluation" test screening for the Autism Spectrum. I took it and I was scored has having a high risk for Autistic tendencies. I am very horrible at social skills. I have a terrible time relating to other people. I fit a lot of the criteria. I am intelligent, but haven't pursued any type of "career." I don't have much money or health insurance. I can't afford to see a professional about it. I also have struggled with mild depression my whole life, are they related? I wish I could just "see a doctor", but I literally have barely enough money to live.

My husband and I have a 4mo. old baby together. Through some unfortunate circumstances (it's complicated) we may soon be adopting my 3wk. old niece. What kind of things are they going to be looking for when they come for the home visit? I'm worried they'll come in and see a pile of dirty laundry and dishes in the sink, and say I'm an unfit mother and try to take the baby we already have! That's a little bit of an exaggeration of course, but hopefully you get the idea. How strict are they? Are they just checking to make sure we're not drug dealers or living in absolute squalor, or what? I've never been through this process before (hoped we'd never have to), and I'm a little anxious about it all...

I got my first boyfriend when I was 13. It wasn't long before he started abusing me physically, mentally and sexually. Even that young, I had a bad relationship with my parents, which he took advantage of and started planting little seeds in my head to make my home situation even worse (basically convinced me to be paranoid about everything they did or said). He introduced me to heroine, and kept me nice and f***** up so he could do what he wanted to me, and I wouldn't fight back. He died in a car crash when I was 16. Not long after he died, my parents threw me out because I was too much to handle. I didn't really have anywhere to stay for a while, and kind of house bounced. I was raped during the time I was homeless by a guy I had always considered a good friend. I slit my wrists open after that, but all it did was create a big mess and leave big nasty scars that forever peg me as someone who tried to kill herself. I met my (now) husband when I was 17 and moved in a week later. He has never judged me for my past, has always shown unconditional love towards me, and always encourages me to pursue my interests and dreams. He is a genuinely good person who came from a bad past too, so he can somewhat relate. After we got together, I stopped drugs, drinking and smoking and diverted my attention towards bettering myself and being a good wife to him. He has always been a huge positive in my life and shown me so much love that I can finally love myself. We have worked hard to set ourselves up financially and have long talked about having children in the future. I had a miscarriage a few months back, and after a review of my medical history of chronic ovarian cysts and lower abdominal pain, had exploratory surgery and was diagnosed with endometriosis, and pretty much told I can't have kids. Some people want to be an astronaut or a fire fighter when they grow up, I have always wanted to be a wife and mother. For years I just kept the past in the past and put my focus and energy into creating a happy future. It feels like my whole life is crashing down now. I'm only 22, but I feel old all of a sudden, my biggest goal in life has been crushed, I feel the hatred of myself coming back. I'm loosing control of my emotions, and past events in my life that really never registered before are all of a sudden making me hysterical. I can step back and rationally assess the situation and tell myself "this isn't the end of the world" but even the tiniest negative thing happens, and I'm crying in a corner wanting to die. I haven't been eating hardly, I'm just not hungry anymore, and I don't think about it until I see how thin I've gotten. My husband is beyond worried, I'm acting like a crazy woman, and he doesn't know how to help. I don't want to put him through this. I don't need to see a shrink, I need to focus myself on positive things again, because this depression crap has been going on a little too long after the miscarriage. I don't want to have unchangeable things in the past affect my present. How can I get myself over this and back to how I was before?

Okay, I felt him looking at me so I turned and I signaled for him to wait for me to cross the street and he did. I got over there and asked him he he ever talked to me before and he said no but he always wanted to. I gave him my number any way. He called me two days later and we talked for 1 or 2 hours. I asked him once more if he ever talked to me and he said no did I get him confused with someone else. I said yes. He did ask me a few times what I was doing here and there and I would say work and it would be left open ended. He asked to call me back that night and he did but I fell asleep and woke up. He could tell I was tired. He told me that he's call me back because I seem tired or on my way out (whatever that means.) So he convinced me to get off of the phone and he said he would call me tomorrow. He never did. I waited every day and that was one of the worst feelings ever. But several days later he approaches me from way across the street as I am on my way home. He was on a bike. I say hi to him and keep it moving. Of course I was hurt and pissed, and going through PMS and he never called me. Why did he do that? He is 27 and a street guy (urban guy) and I am 24, quiet, nice single mom. He has kids too 3 of them! So I know it was not an issue of me having a kid. He even told me that he always wanted to talk to me. This has been hanging over my head ever since. I don't understand it. I admit that I did get him confused with someone else but I still wanted to get to know him. Is it because I am too sweet? Maybe because I don't talk slang (I am Black but you'd probably think I was white over the phone.) I was thinking that maybe it was my breath because my breath smelled horrid that day but he still called me and approached me later on. I doubt he would do that if my breath smelled like crap right? What did I do wrong?

I've got this nokia cellphone which has a battery of voltage 3.7V Today I got a low battery message today and instead of just charging the phone, i rather plugged out the battery and measured the voltage with digital multimeter which showed the voltage to be 3.7V(thats equal to normal rated voltage of the battery) My question is that as I had got a low battery warning on my cellphone, then how come the voltage of the battery was still maintained at 3.7V Secondly, if my cellphone's battery was low then on the other hand as the battery's voltage was being shown as 3.7V then what exactly meant by the battery's charge to be low?

In my situation it's impossible for me to be pregnant--I'm on the pill and haven't had a boyfriend in months! My nausea has been going on for the last week. I work outside and we been under an excessive heat wave. I make sure I have plenty of water like a big water cooler. I been avoiding alcohol and soda. I stopped taking my antidepressants medication six weeks ago, and nausea is a withdrawal side effect. This nausea happens the morning after I was working. I dont have a big appetite lately. I'm assuming that it's heat exhaustion. I want to see what other people think here?

I have the Sims 3 base game plus all of the stuff packs and expansion packs. And I had a new Toshiba laptop last week. Before my laptop I played the sims on an XP computer and the game settings were really good. But I have put the games on my new laptop (Which is a windows 7) and I have had to turn all of the settings down like reflection detail, sims detail etc in order for the game to run smoothly which makes the game a little less exciting to play. Does anyone know how to speed up my game without having to turn all of the settings down?

If you put a bunch of straight guys in a situation where no women are involved for an extended period of time, (like a navy submarine) there is a very good chance that some sex is gonna be happening. Not all of em...but guys who are comfortable in their straigthood might be ok with a quickie from another guy....some other guys might realize their deep-seeded homosexual desires that have been repressed. All depends on the person. Okay so I've been to the dentist recently, and one of my wisdom teeth does not seem to be growing through even though i had the baby tooth removed. So therefore I'm going to have to have an operation to remove it i have never had a operation in my life. i am a dentist so i deal with this on a daily basis but this is something completely different when it is on myself.. i have been told they're going to put me under anaesthetic and I was wondering where they'd inject you, would it be in the back of the hand or gas or just lidocaine? Please help!
