So I live near Glasgow and I'm planning a weekend break in Britain with my fiance as a surprise for him. I'd really like some ideas as to where to take him. I'd like somewhere easy to get to via public transport as neither of us drive. Also somewhere with beautiful scenery and things to do like sightseeing, boat trips etc. Somewhere that doesn't cost a bomb would be much appreciated too! Thanks in advance!

I was doing Calf Raises two days ago for 30 reps and around the 25th rep it was way to much so i stopped, the rest of the day it didn't hurt and was fine. The next morning I woke up and it hurt, I could still walk on it fine and throughout the day I could jump and run with minimal pain I just don't know, is it sprained, sore or injured?

I took my cat into the vet because his urine was smelling like ammonia. I decided to go ahead and do blood work and a urinalysis to get everything checked. He can't have vaccines as his body can't handle the antibodies and he gets incredibly sick, but he is inside only. He came from a feral colony and I got him when we was about 4 weeks old. He has some other issues----his lower spine is partially fused and so are his hips so he walks awkwardly and isn't very graceful. He is not in any pain from this it's just like a birth defect thing. Anyway, on to the point. His blood had such a high lipid level that the machine at the clinic couldn't read it and they have to send it off to get processed and see what's going on. They said not to worry, but my cat isn't overweight and even if he were, his lipid level wouldn't be that high unless there was something going on right? Any thoughts as to what could be wrong? I am kind of freaking out waiting for the results and would just like to somewhat prepare myself for what could be wrong.

Aight...I've recently started listening to ICP in the past 2 months. One of the best bands I could listen to haha, I've recently bought a bunch of their stuff. But anyway, this guy sings in a lot of their songs, I don't know if it's one of the orginal members or not. But he's in Carnival of Carnage and Ringmaster (and a bunch of others). For the past few nights I have had a dream with the guy I like in it, nothing nasty, just weird dreams that make no sense. I dont see why he would even appear in those dreams, they had nothing to do with him or anything really, they were just random and pointless. But last night I had another dream with him in it, but this one actually had some sense behind it, he and I were just being "lovey duvey" and spending time with each other. I'm getting another droid phone because my first one fell and the screen broke. So, thanks to Asurion, I should be getting a refurbished one sometime today in the mail. Before switching to verizon, I used to have t-mobile and the phones that I received in my family plan would sometimes save my stuff on my phone, as opposed to all on my sim card. (Things like contact list, settings, etc.) I'm just wondering if the same applies to the android incredible 2, or am I going to have to reinstall all the programs and input all the contacts from my long contact list? :-/

If a guy likes you would he do everything to stay and talk to you? instead of going out? He says he likes talking to me and everything but he has to "go out" all the time and I honestly feel like we barely talk. Like he tells me he likes me and thinks I'm cute/hot but how can I actually take him seriously? I enjoy talking to him when I do get the chance but once in a while it just feels like hes *out there* (not paying attention/ignoring me.) What should I do about this issue? Forget the guy and move on? Or wait and hope he finally realizes he only wants to be with me? (I barely know the guy 1 to 2 months of knowing him)

Ok so here is my problem with my stepmom. She does not like me at all what do ever. Dealing with somebody that has terrets and bipolar and with a bad, screwed up childhood, is very had to deal with. Let me tell you a few things according to her why sue doesnt like me- "hello my name is kaiden, i am a 14 year old male. Heres some things that she hates about me - #1 my looks. She hates my flat rimmed hates and calls me ugly. (im not ugly, girls hang on me) and she hates when i look at somebody cause it bothers her? Not sure why, i think she needs to look in the mirror when she stares at me with big eyes and a pissed off look... It is scary. #2- she hates everything i do. When i do my chores, according to her, i do it all wrong. She litteraly finds away to get me in trouble. Heres another thing, a few times when i have done the dishes without being told, which is a good thing! Anyways, when i do the dishes and put them away, she gets mad and grounds me if i put a knife in the wrong drawer, or if i put a bowl in the dish washer wrong (i dont see how thats possible??) heres another thing, when i clean the bathroom and i clean the mirror, if there is one streak on that mirror..... Oh boy, she freaks out and steam comes out of her ears. And since her son pissed all over the place in the bathroom and never ames for the toilet, if i miss a spot, there is hell to pay. And by the way there is a lot more storys i can go on and on all day. #3 my additude. Ok when she yells at me all day and ive had it, i show my feelings. I look soo mad and ignore everybody. Then she makes fun of me and one time i told her "angie, shut up. Who invited you into my life??" and she said "as soon as your effing mother died." that was when i had it, i could not breath. I was done. And this was just a while ago after my mom died in may 2011 of liver an kidney failure, hepitidus, pnuemonia, and brain hemerage... And now she thinks that shes my mom and that shes incontrol, she tells people that shes my mom. And when she does i interup and say "no shes not, my mom is dead."  #4 my depression. After my moms death, my stepdad, my little 4 yr old brother, and my 10 year old sister have been devistated... My mom and stepdad had a kid and hes 4, and my sister is my real sis we have the same dad. Our parents divorced when i was five and my sis was 2. Things in my life right now are as hard as theyre gonna get. I cant imagine any worse. All i know is that if i believe, this is gods plan for me. I think just because, he gave me a bad childhood, so i can grow up with experience and a good job, with a good life when im older. I believe that is his plan for me, and im not religous or anything but i do believe in god.  All i have to say is, i wanted to express my feelings to you guys. All i want is a better relationship with my stepmom, i want to make her like me, i want her to be happy with me, i need this to somehow work. An i want to keep my family together while doing this, i dont want like to live with a different family or anything, no. I am not a quitter. I am going to make this work. I have to somehow make her happier. All i want is a happy family... The family i never had except for when i lived with my mom 80% of the time... I just want you guys to give me some suggestions on how i can make her happy with me. She seems to be happy with my sister and brothet but she hates me and talks crap on me... All i want is loving mother figure again... Any suggestions guys? And yes i have already tryed sitting down with her to talk peacefully, doesnt work, she just yells at me to go away... I just need a little boost on what i could do. Inside i have that feeling that i can make this work, and i am happy inside. I just wanna fix this problem. Thanks guys! (:

so my husband and i are trying to get pregnant. we've been together for almost 5 years. this is our first month trying to get pregnant but im worried that it wont work. im 21 and my husband is 43, and im concerned about his age. he also smokes, which makes his sperm count lower right? anyways he said that when he was married to his ex wife he was trying to get her pregnant but it didnt work. so im worried that its not going to work out for me. are there any easy ways to get pregnant. like things i could try. please help thanks!

Now let me give some well known facts about the human race and what they have done for our ecosystem: We have domesticated wolves, boar, cows, felines, goats, sheep, and horses. The fact that we have done this messes up the species so that, if sent into the wild, they would not be able to survive because they are bred to rely on humans. Any animal that kills a human is killed itself by humans, this does not happen in the wild (animal killing an animal), because it is a natural part of life. The tiger is doing a great service to the ecosystem for mauling and eating that human because it is giving the human a part in the cycle that is the food chain. Killing the tiger means that the human is now nothing more than an indestructible force that is a plain nuisance due to the fact that the human has no enemies and can further reproduce. Everyday, more and more humans are being born, and more space is needed for them, because of this territorial animals are forced to go into cities and eventually die by humans. Humans have created a substance that is not bio-degradable, plastic. Plastic only is good for the humans that use it. After it is discarded it does nothing but harm for both the planet as well as the animals that mistake it for food, later dieing because of it. Just makes me wonder why humans turn a blind eye to this and don't find themselves to be nuisances to the ecosystem.

Here is my situation, I am rounding the numbers in this example to make things easier. For tax year 2007 I have $10,000 in college education expenses that are required by my company. I paid for the education expenses and have my 1098 to prove the expenses. I claimed the maximum tuition and fees deduction of $4,000 on IRS Form 8917. Now on my schedule A itemized deductions I claimed the remaining $6,000 in job required education expenses on line 21. The IRS have audited me for 2007 and is claiming that you cannot take both deductions. I have written back to them stating that yes I am allowed to do that according to Topic 457 - Tuition And Fees Deduction, here is the link: http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc457.html "If the educational expenses are also allowable as a business expense, the tuition and fees deduction may be claimed in conjunction with a business expense deduction, but the same expenses cannot be deducted twice." So my question to you is, aren't I correct in my claim to the IRS of taking the tuition and fees deduction of $4000 and the remaining expense on my schedule A? I am 99% certain that I am correct but I would still like to get additional input. I appreciate your help. Thanks, Dan
