To make a long story short, I dated my ex on-and-off for 2 years. He ended up lying, cheating, never paying me back $200 i loaned him, and he eventualy abandoned me for the person he cheated on me with (without having the courtesy of telling me he was leaving or dumping me). Two years later, after he totaly ignores me and hasn't acknowledged my existence, he bumped into me at a grocery stoe where we both ignored each othrr. Then 2 minutes later he texts me " I was only with you for your money. How will you ever know if you found true love when I had you fooled all this time. You're such a tool." I thought that was very vicious to say, especially after he ignored me for 2 years, and never even apologized for any of the stuff he did, and for never paying me back the $200. Anyways, fast-forward to last night. Now it's been almost 26 months since he abandoned me. My question is: I met some new people in "his city" and since these people where in his age range , i casually asked the mif they new my ex. They both said yes. So I mentioned i use to date "so-and-so" for 2 years, and that he's my ex. Well the next day i get these text messages from my ex (he still has my cell number after more than 2 years of ignoring me!) . Basically my ex tells me to never mention his name again to anyone. If i continue to do so, he will "so help me God i will put you behind bars". Legally it's a free country and i can tell anyone that i use to date my ex. Do you think it's wrong to casualy mention " i use to date so-and-so" as an ice breaker? By the way, these were just casual acquaitnances of my ex. I mean if it were the other way around, i could care less if my ex's tell anyone they use to date ME. What's the big deal?

I've had the flu/cold since Saturday, it's now Tuesday night, and I've had blocked nose, Sore throat, Sore chest, Slight cough, My jaw aches, My ears are itchy and no matter how much I clean them, they itch on the inside!!! Anyway, why is some of my mucus yellow? And why does my chest hurt when I cough? Does coughing make things worse? I taste blood when I cough, and I haven't had a flu in for years. Help!

I met this man a few months ago and told him I'd like to be friends to get to know each other. The thing is we don't see each other much as he lives 50km away. I told him I'd like to and we both confessed that we we do sometimes feel alone. He told me he's introverted. I'm out of the city for a few days' ------------ I didn't reply to this message...to give him some space. So yesterday morning I texted 'Let me know when you get back! See you then'. Cristina used to be my best friend. We were just like sisters: we used to spend a lot of time together, we talked for hours on the phone and we even had similar thoughts and tastes. Since Cristina and I arrived to High School, our friendship has changed a lot. I've always been a better student than Cristina but it never affected our relationship. However, now that we're in High School and our marks are very important, I started to notice some strange behavior from Cristina. She gets sad and mad every time my results are better than hers or every time a teacher congratulates me. She started competing against me! And the worst part is that this competition has affected me so much, that I also compete with her in every way. If I think she's wearing a prettier dress, I get upset. If she does anything better than me, I feel angry inside. And when our marks came out in the end of school and I noticed that my marks were WAAAY better than hers I felt incredibly good and I didn't feel sorry for her when I saw her sadness. My question is: Am I still her friend? Because I don't think friends should act like this, but I can't help it! What's wrong with me?

I have been employed as a part-time hourly paid crew member of McDonalds since the 30st of June. In my contract it states that i was hired on a " 1 month probationary period" I was only given 3 shifts throughout the month of july and have only had 3 shifts to date in August. Totalling six weeks since the start of my employment. Today i received a letter titled "Month Probation review" informing me that i hadn't performed to standard (with reasons that had no relation to the tasks i had performed). This "Month Probation Review" form is dated August 14th which is longer than a month of employment...so surely that can't stand? My contract only states probation lasts one months. Could i claim unfair dismissal due to the fact my "monthly probation review" was dated after a month of employment? Thanks.

I am a 17 soon to be 18 year old going into her senior year. The people in my year group are mostly turning 18 later this year. The disturbing fact is that everyone including my boyfriend who is 18 on September 2 still act like teens. They go out partying and say that i am a fogey, they take hardcore drugs and i swear that my boyfriend has tried some himself, they swear and cuss in front of their parents, the guys brag about how many girls they have slept with while the girls are all omgomgomg hees soooooo hawwt yum drool yum. My boyfriend who i nickname Caligula for this reason (he just stares at me and says huh?) gets up to extremely dangerous and frankly insane shenanigans. Once he dry-humped me in front of everyone while screaming my name at the top of his voice. I tell him that it takes more than having a dick to be a grown man and that he should be settling down at his age and thinking of marriage (not necessarily to me) kids, career and possibly life insurance, he just says i'm humorless and dour (or better put in his words: relax more you'll live longer). Do I live in a world of immature brats or is it just me; my best friend is my grandmother, I have two part time jobs to help pay my family rent and in my spare time i research ancient history, foreign languages and practice cello and piano. These are grown people and seriously i do not think i can handle senior year with these louts.

Whenever I lie down it feels like something is catching under my left bottom rib. Also if i push down on it (if moves very easily and feels a little loose, compared to my right bottom rib as it doesn't move at all), it like make a pop sound and feels like something is caught underneath. Is there something wrong? Also, if i lie down on my left side i become very very breathless and cannot take a breath in properly. I then feel dizzy/sick and have to get up and move around. Is that all linked? it feels like it moves around when i am lying down. Sometimes i have to pull the skin up a little so it frees whatever is 'caught' and it goes back to normal. But this happens everytime i breathe in...so i have to do it basically every single time. Does anyone else have this??

Why do people cheat on their boyfriend/girlfriend and still want to be together with them? When i say cheat, i mean continuously cheat, and the thing is, the victim is not much of an asset (money, looks, etc.) for the cheater, but the cheater still chooses to stay with victim? The victim also only sees the cheater once every 1 or 2 weeks and can mainly contact through phone. Any ideas?

I'm sick of my Scorpio's testing. I always misunderstand them, and then because of the result, he gets into his head some concept of me that is ENTIRELY UNTRUE, because I had misunderstood the test. For example, he asked me to move in with him. I thought he ACTUALLY MEANT MOVE IN. I said I wasn't comfortable unless we had concrete plans to get engaged. I failed it, because he didn't actually want me to move in, it was a test, and he just wanted to know how committed I was to him. I AM VERY COMMITTED TO HIM. BUT THIS WAS THE WRONG TEST TO PROVE IT. Now he only wants me as a friend. How can I get him to stop testing me?
