There is a new teller at my bank but the bank is such a hard place to strike up a conversation. The bank is fairly small, it is not like they are behind the glass protection or anything. I just can't seem to come up with the words in th few minutes I talk to her while she processes my transaction. Any help? Have you ever had a job (such as bank teller, bartender, etc...) where it is hard to ask someone out and got asked out or been on the other side like me? Any experience? Any tips? How would you handle it?

Not sure if this is in the right category... I'm thinking of buying a house. I have lived mostly in places where people live in rented apartments. So I'm curious about how much this will cost. Does anyone know how much most people put down as a down-payment as a percentage of the total house price? Also, what are "closing costs" and how much would they be? Would there be any other costs apart from closing costs, the house price, and the interest on a mortgage? Thanks a lot.

my ex she is 25 and I we've been broken up for a year now we talk to each other and text. the one day she had her girl who is a friend over and they watched a movie after the movie she text me. Then one night she went to the bar with her girl friends from work and she text me when she was at the bar and if i didn't answer she would text again saying hello. She tells me everything like that her mom and real dad are getting back together and that she hates her mom. well 7months ago her step dad tryed to rape her she got out of there i was the first one she called i picked her up and i was rubbing her back and i was there for her.The day after that her and her real dad went to report the step dad to the police. Then the next day she went out west for a couple weeks and came back on march break to spend with her son. well 2 weeks after we got in a fight and i said mean stuff like she is just like her mom and that her son is going to hate her how she hates her mom and that she is a s lut. i didn't mean any of it. so its been about 6 months since we talked. the last text she send me was saying i want to be left alone by everyone.I text her alot of times saying sorry i left flowers and cholate at her place with letters telling her how much she means to me and how sorry i really am.I seen on her facebook all her closes friends from work she delete them all off her facebook. 2months she been staying at her grandma and grandpa's she told me that she is on drugs from the dr so im guessing she is depress or stressed. i send her a text a while ago and she hasn't said anything. Her aunt and my dad are really good friends well she told my dad that she quit her job and moved out west 4months ago to be with her ex and they are going back out and is going to stay out west for a year. I know last year in july she went down to see him for 2 weeks then in dec he came down for 3 weeks. She has a son who is 10 years old and her mom and dad have custody of her son so she can't take him out west with her. so why would she move there for a year without her son for an ex. here aunt also said she said she doesn't want to have anything to do with me p.s when me and her were dating she told me about her ex the one who she is going out with now that they went out for 5 years. He's 10 years old then her and the reason they broke up the first time was because he wanted to get married and have kids with her and she didn't want that and that he was on drugs. So he moved out west to get clean i guess i don't know if he is clean or what. He isn't the father of the child. so I havn't emailed her or anything for a couple months so july11 I emailed her on facebook saying I know you hate me and I don't blame you. I just want you to know that I really do care about you and that I'm here for you and after she got them she blocked me on facebook 1. i was given a £5 note the other day, and today i thought it was fake. (it didnt have a hologram or the number 5 under UV light). i thought it was fake, and so did all my friends. until i looked on a magifiying glass and it said 1990. so i went on the bank of england website and found the exact note. It said it was withdrawn. how am i going to spend this fiver? and how do i exactly know its not fake? im so glad it wasnt £20!

This washer has been a donkey from the off. It's only 18 months old but has so far had two pumps, 3 circuit boards and a new motor. None of which really helped with the basic issue of it stopping after the wash and not rinsing/spinning! To be honest I think the engineers were clutching at straws a bit. In despair after if broke down yet again, now out of guarantee I opened it up myself and took out the ball, it was nasty, crusty and caked with powder. Since then it runs like a dream but can I expect future problems, surely these balls serve a purpose?

My hubby and I went away for the evening and left our 2 month old with Gma for the first time. Gma assured us that everything would be fine and said she would take care of the bedtime routine that we had set. She texted me twice telling me that the baby had her bath and that she was in bed. Later on she told me that the baby went to bed an hour later than usual. I figured it was because she was restless but then my bro in law told me that my sister, her 4 kids and he all came over about two hours before the routine. Apparently EVERYONE helped with the routine and thus our baby had trouble going to sleep on time. Now my prob isn't that she went to bed late, it's that my mon never mentioned that a ton of ppl were over while we were gone. I would like to know how my baby is handled while Im gone and if my wishes will be respected. Is this unreasonable?

Hey everyone. I need some advice. I've been talking to a guy I met for about 4 weeks now. He works two jobs, so he's pretty busy in general. We made plans to meet up last night (first date) when he got off of work. But, he ended up canceling because he had to stay at his job and couldn't get off. If a married man can have his choice of women, would he keep going back to the same one...if he didnt have feelings for her? My husband has been having an off an on affair with the same woman for almost 3 years. He's very attractive and successful and women come on to him all the time. He's had sex affairs before but with this woman it seems different. She's not even as attractive as I am or as attractive as the women who come on to him. I'm getting a tatto on my right shoulder blade area with the words 'viam pacis' which is a latin translation of 'peace is the way'. But I don't want just the words, I want a sort of combination of the phrase and flowers. Something pretty, with like the flowers or design kinda surrounding or branching off of the words. Nothing with color-i want to stick to some basic blacks and greys. I've browsed a few tatto websites and havn't had much luck finding something I love. And i'd like to know what I want before I go in to have it done. So just any suggestions of sites with good designs that you think might fit what i want would be great. Or even ideas of what type of flowers i could use would be cool too. Thanks! :)
